Some important things happened this week. President Trump brought peace to a continent or two. The long-simmering Russia Collusion Hoax unraveled further. Controversy erupted over the Democrats’ disgraceful history of gerrymandering. Israel announced its intention to complete the pacification of Gaza. The Trump administration revoked the ridiculous CO2 endangerment finding. And more.
But the nation’s meme-creators mostly focused their attention elsewhere. President Trump took a walk on a sloped roof. South Park viciously parodied Trump, JD Vance and Kristi Noem. The now indisputably-Republican Sydney Sweeney remained a popular meme subject. And, above all, persons mostly unknown debuted a new sports tradition: throwing green d*ldos on to the court at WNBA games.

The behavior of throwing such an item on the court is boorish and seriously low rent, but I've got to say the memes are a hoot. With all the serious problems we worry about today, its nice to have something silly.

They should be throwing them where they belong. On the Men's Soccer League fields,
Hat tip to Gutfeld.

When I first read this about the WNBA, I thought is somebody being anti-woman. Not a fan of the WNBA, but this is vulgar. Not funny at all. Probably not meant to be funny. It's meant to be denigrating.

These memes were good this week. I agree that tossing green fluorescent sex toys onto WNBA basketball courts is déclassé. However, if the WNBA players were better at basketball, they wouldn't be mocked like this. But they're mostly terrible. Angel Reese has a lower field goal percentage from directly under the basket than Caitlin Clark has from 3-point range. The word "mebound" refers to Angel's offensive rebounds of multiple missed lay ups, sometimes bouncing off the bottom of the rim. She can't shoot or dribble. And she couldn't jump over a matchbox. But it's entertaining to be so bad.
And I must say that I miss Bob Ross and his art. He was one of a kind. ("Happy little tears.")

funniest bunch of memes for a long time.
Too bad it wasn't strictly a [ can't use that word, when the whole article is about it? ], but a vibrator. But how can we let reality get in the way of bright green dick-shaped objects?

I'm not that interested in the the WNBA, but kept scrolling. The memes were well worth it, as they were some of the funniest ones I've seen in a long time.

I have been laughing my head off.
In response to reports that WNBA viewship has gone up with people betting on what color the next toy would be, Gutfeld opined that maybe such a stunt could be used to up viewership at other events no one is watching.

Some things are even too tasteless to be mocked. No thanks. I won't open the article.

This "article" is a series of captioned photos and cartoons. One doesn't have to participate in mockery of something tasteless to enjoy the really funny stuff presented here. Courteous posters move on when an article doesn't appeal to them rather than virtue signaling.

#16 is correct. What was posted here was a bunch of memes, not a news article. But almost every week, it's great. Those offended should get themselves properly oriented. Laugh, for a change.

Stereotyping a group of people is not true in most cases but most have a small touch of realism in them.
Irish with with an overly fond of the grape and brawling (and I am Irish), dumb Polish people, greedy Shylock etc.in Shakespeare's 'Merchant of Venice'. Nothing new and tossing sex toys on the court does seem to be a little crude but I agree, it's hard not to laugh....
