Benjamin Franklin once wrote, "In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." We can add another certainty to that list: silly performative acts from leftwing lunatics. Two recent examples of leftists making fools of themselves will make you laugh at the same time that you’re shaking your head at the inanity of it all. Let’s start by visiting a Trader Joe’s location in Oakland, Calif. A group of totally serious and credible people held a funeral for the packages of chicken in the frozen section. Smashing melons? Mr. (Vince) Majestyk wouldn't like that much. Vegetable torturer Gallagher undoubtedly did a better job, and he was a funny guy like Tommy in Goodfellas. These vegans are plumb crazy. If they tried to smile, their faces would break like dry clay. Had I been there, I would have mentioned to these PETA types that humanity consumes some sixty-five billion chickens per year. They're not smart birds. Beheaded, they don't know the difference, kind of like Joe Biden. But they taste good. Good protein.

I am floored that Trader's would allow a stunt like that in their store, but in mostly black Oakland it could be that they fear being burned out if they interceded. Oakland has been an armpit city for as long as I can remember. Their major sports teams have fled. I can't imagine anyone visiting there.

It is commonly believed that the Russia collusion hoax was the worst scandal in American history, and certainly it has a strong claim. But if smearing Donald Trump with Hillary-concocted lies was a major scandal, how about trying to put him in prison? Alex Marlow, editor in chief of Breitbart News, has written a book titled Breaking the Law: Exposing the Weaponization of America’s Legal System Against Donald Trump. It hits bookstores tomorrow. Marlow’s theme is that the multiple criminal and civil cases that were brought against Trump before the 2024 election were coordinated from the Joe Biden White House. The whole thing was a Democratic Party put-up job.

With efforts underway by Administrator Lee Zeldin to reform the EPA’s reputation for junk science, it is worthwhile to look back at how science became politicized within that agency. The story begins over a half century ago during the counterculture revolution of the late ‘60s when environmentalism became popular. Paul Ehrlich, who is often credited with being the founding guru of the environmental movement, became an overnight celebrity with his 1968 best-seller, The Population Bomb. In it, he warned about the consequences of population growth and predicted imminent famine and resource depletion for the world. Not since Thomas Malthus

A lot happened this week. There were new revelations in the Russia collusion hoax that may bring criminal prosecutions nearer. President Trump concluded an epic trade deal with the European Union. Trump gave Russia a deadline to end the Ukraine war. But on the internet, these stories paled in comparison with American Eagle’s ad campaign promoting the company’s jeans. American Eagle had the temerity to launch a campaign that features the actress Sydney Sweeney, a buxom blonde who seems suspiciously un-woke. No one complained when Beyonce was featured in a jeans ad campaign, but a white girl? Nazi propaganda! One of the stupidest faux controversies on record spawned a record number

Reams have been written about the latest revelations in the Russian collusion hoax that so hamstrung President Trump’s first term. I will summarize below the most important revelations. It’s clear the Administration is taking its time to reveal the investigation’s conclusions for maximum impact -- an impact that I, like Scott Adams, believe will result in arrests of a number of people who pulled off this fraud. But first I want to discuss something which has not received the kind of attention it deserves -- the death of the legal consequences for disparate outcomes and credentialism.

It’s over, man. Over. The Russian collusion hoax has been so thoroughly exposed, so stripped down to the bare bones, that it’s now just as pathetic as it is disconcerting. The largest intelligence operation in American history was used against us—and for what? To cover Hillary Clinton’s botched use of an unsecured server while she served as Barack Obama’s top diplomat. Since the server was unsecured, it was likely hacked, and files were retrieved. Democrats needed to take action to launch countermeasures. Two recent mass casualty attacks have brought to mind Democrat Rham Emmanuel’s admonition to never let a serious crisis go to waste. His fellow Dems do whatever is necessary for political advantage. Dancing on the graves of victims, misrepresenting facts and egregious lying are common. (Snip) At 5 PM a 42-year-old man in a WalMart attacked random shoppers with a folding knife. He stabbed 11, critically wounding four. A former Marine WalMart employee attacked him with a shopping cart. The attacker fled to the parking lot where he was surrounded by 5-6 people. Absent sound money, a modern economy would revert to primitive barter where a cow might cost three goats. The introduction of money, at least in principle, solved relying on barter, but this also brought counterfeiting. Now, a dishonest person might debase a coin’s true value by filing off their edges or minting fake coins that replaced silver with lead. The rise of paper money similarly invited deceit -- inflation -- when cash-strapped governments just printed yet more paper currency until only the paper had value, so this “money” became wallpaper, even toilet paper. Governments thus have strict laws regarding debasing currency. When Issac Newton was appointed Warden of the Royal Mint

Democrats are still scratching their heads over why young men keep slipping through their fingers. After years of trading in empty promises and socialist fantasies, the Left was stunned in 2024 when young men broke ranks and cast their votes for Donald Trump. Satellites could probably pick up the wailing from Washington. Who could possibly be surprised that young men are turning away from a party that openly sneers at masculinity, constantly lectures about so-called “male privilege,” and blames every societal issue on “the patriarchy”?

A WNBA game between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries was interrupted on Tuesday night after a bizarre object was thrown on to the floor late in the fourth quarter. The Valkyries had rebounded a miss with about one minute left in the game when the object flew from the stands and down onto the court. The object bounced a few times away from the ballhandler and then toward the near sideline. The object appeared to be a lime green sex toy. The broadcast showed the object on the floor for a brief moment before everyone realized what it was. "Inappropriate. Get them out of here, whoever it is,"

As expected, Texas Democratic legislators have fled the state to deny a quorum for Gov. Greg Abbott's redistricting push. The members flew to Illinois on Sunday, which qualifies as peak irony given that the blue state is arguably the most gerrymandered in the country. This plan was reportedly hatched with Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL), and the 30 odd Democrats will spend at least a week there. Given what we saw when they did this in 2021, denying a quorum for an election reform vote, there is no doubt a lot of grandstanding, dramatics, and cringe singing on the way.

Recently, a large group of black youths began pummeling white adults in downtown Cincinnati. The original altercation apparently broke out between a black and white male in he-said/he-said fashion. But that dispute soon turned into a virtual free-for-all. Numerous male and female black youths sucker-punched a middle-aged woman. Others continued to kick or body slam the victims. There were many disturbing aspects to the beat-downs. One, the violence broke out along racial and age fault lines. After the initial dispute, groups of black youths swarmed solitary older white bystanders to pound them. Two, the surrounding assembled group of black youths not only failed to intervene to restrain the bullies.

The move was reportedly made without the input of the Israeli military’s chief of staff Eyal Zamir — with Netanyahu instructing him to fall in line or resign, according to the internal memo sent out.
