Tim Kennedy: war hero or stolen valor fraud? Kennedy, a former MMA fighter and a Green Beret veteran who’s a pretty popular and well-known personality in the special warfare influencer space, is taking serious heat for accusations that he lied about his military service. According to a report shared by Yahoo News, Kennedy is under investigation: UFC veteran Tim Kennedy admitted in a social media post on Monday to fabricating a part of his U.S. Army history, previously claiming to have received a Bronze Star Medal with Valor. The National Guard Green Beret is now reportedly under investigation following the news coming to light. If you go on a podcast

Apparently not out of the ordinary, if true. As reported Connecticut has a US Senator who claimed that he served as a US Marine in Vietnam when in reality he was never a US Marine in Vietnam during the war there.

There are two kinds of Bronze Stars. The basic award is a "good job" sort of attaboy kind of thing, can be for doing a great job doing the paperwork for some unit. If the ribbon has the "V device", a small bronze V pinned in the center, it is for valor in combat. Now he says he didn't get the "Bronze Star with V device".....did he have any Bronze Star or is the whole thing just made up? Rotten thing, either way.

FTA: If you go on a podcast where the host asks you if you have a Bronze Star with a “V” device, and you confirm by saying “yep,” and then you regale the audience with the story of how you earned it, describing a combat situation where you sustained enemy fire before you “shot” a “bad guy” and saved the day—but in reality you only have a normal Bronze Star for helping with logistical planning on a deployed operations—are you a fraud? Yep.

The Bronze Star with no V device, is just a "well done" note. Lying about it is a very rotten thing.

My nephew earned a Bronze Star with the Valor V, in combat. But it cost him his life. I have a copy of his Bronze Star citation framed on my wall.

I get a little embellishment, a little exaggeration. I get it. It’s another thing altogether to trade upon stolen valor, and Kennedy really pumped himself up with the lies. Smoking an enemy at 600 yards with what I assume is an M-4- to protect a convoy- a big tell. That’s just one.

many politicians lie like persian rugs about military service, as they haven't done a day's worth--and keep lying. so how can others judge such a life task as military service? let the Almighty sort things out. i've won medals-in previous lives, w/ only vague memory of the fine points, beyond survival, getting home. my dad was the exact same. the focus is saving others, w/ humility, not expectations of rewards or status. there hasn't been a day's worth of that since ww2.

Military people take this stuff seriously and with good reason. I love it when some guy claims to have been a SEAL and then trips himself up on the made-up details.

I'm sorry, y'all. I can't crack on this greasy, pathetic sleazeball enough. But this post will not be dedicated to skewering oleaginous California Governor Gavin 'Randall-Flagg Lite' Newsom for being a complete slime whose propensity for lying and manipulative subterfuge gives pondscum a bad rap. The alphabet wars are, as you might think, primarily about sexuality, sex, and sexual morality. When looked at in those terms, as many liberals do or claim to, you can see, if you squint hard enough, the point they make about just letting people live their lives in peace. At least until you start thinking about the impact that allowing men into women's spaces and reality slaps you in the face. Most liberals only like to think about the issue as a question of tolerance. What do we care if some men want to wear dresses? In many cases, that is the limit of their thought process, akin to asking

Four hours of gaslighting and cursing. I've watched most of Newsom's latest venture in podcast politics in a four-hour-long Shawn Ryan Show interview. It was a curse-word-filled apologia of his time as governor and how everything is great in LaLa Land. Here are some highlights. Gavin Newsom is in favor of gun control, but he's not. He presided over and encouraged the dumbest decriminalization of felonies, prompting massive theft rings to prey upon shop owners, causing a mass exodus of people and retail outlets, but California is one of the toughest on crime. He's not running for president, but he is.

Let's kick off this column by paraphrasing Ronald Reagan: there they go again. California Governor Gavin Newsom has been boldly — and annoyingly — trying to make a case to Democrats to be the party's presidential nominee in 2028. Some may say it's a premature bid but, let's be honest, our presidential election cycles are practically endless now. For all intents and purposes, the 2028 primary season starts next Sunday, just after brunch. Don't shoot the messenger. Newsom knows that he has to get a head start because he's attempting to do something that is nigh on impossible in the current Dem electoral climate:

Many of us can recall when Barack Obama eagerly proclaimed on the eve of his election "we are five days away from transforming the United States of America" to thundering cheers of adoration back in 2008. Very few failed to ask why America, a constitutional republic, with self-governance as its cornerstone, would need a transformation; and what would America be transformed into? What if Barack Obama was a fraud, a communist Muslim plant ensconced into the highest echelons of our government by the U.N. and the World Economic Forum

While it's true that the recently passed congressional budget, a.k.a., the "Big Beautiful Bill" involved a small rise in spending in the bid to get it through, which was Musk's beef, a beef so strong he ended his relationship with President Trump, it also contained critical tax cuts which usually yield more in tax revenue than congressional estimates. as the economy booms. It is the ultimate “eff you!” to residents, a two-handed slap in the face that beggars belief. On the one hand, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass recently announced plans to give cash cards to illegal aliens. Moreover, Mayor Bass said of her executive order: "The directive will help city workers know how to address immigration officials should they approach a city department.” Her order requires city departments to create plans to train employees on how to comply with Los Angeles’s sanctuary city ordinance. Tonight, the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be played at Truist Park in metro Atlanta. It’s a celebratory event—four years overdue—but few in the media or the commissioner’s office want to talk about what happened last time. In 2021, Commissioner Rob Manfred yanked this very event out of Georgia over a so-called voting rights controversy fueled by Stacey Abrams and her political machine. The justification? Georgia’s election law, Senate Bill 202, was labeled “Jim Crow 2.0.” The damage? Nearly $100 million in lost revenue for local businesses. Yet, this story started long before SB 202.

The Senate deadlocked, 50-50, on two procedural votes to start debate on the multibillion-dollar spending clawback package before Vance’s votes advanced the measure requested by the White House. Three Republicans – Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) – joined all Democrats in opposition to the bill.
