President Donald Trump told reporters during a meeting with NATO chief Mark Rutte on Monday that European NATO members would fund billions of dollars of American military equipment, including Patriot missiles, for Ukraine and threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin with a massive 100-per cent indirect tariff if he did not make peace in 50 days. Trump explained that, if Putin did not end his invasion of Ukraine in 50 days, he will begin his proposed regime of “secondary tariffs” on the Russian economy.

Putin offers that he invaded Ukraine because of the eastward expansion of NATO. If that were true, his invasion has been a total failure as Finland and Sweden have joined. Before Ukraine was supported by NATO, but with recent developments, NATO is all in defending Ukraine, increasing their defense spending to 5% of GDP. Putin could have had a resolution of the NATO question 3 years ago, showing Putin's intention was to take over Ukraine from the start.

So Lindsey has gotten to Trump. 100% Tariff on China and India , so those countries are not going to retaliate with their own sanctions? Lindsey is hell bent on dragging the US into recession. Why are we obsessed with Ukraine, it is a EU issue. The US was involved in so many wars in the past decades, now they are worried about people dying in wars, come on we were not born yesterday.

Billionaire Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone has done a 180 after blasting Trump's sweeping tariffs, explaining, "When you made a mistake, admit it." During Langone's appearance on Tuesday on CNBC's "Squawk Box," the co-founder of the home improvement store and top GOP donor said that he was wrong when he called out the president in April suggesting he was getting bad advice from advisors for the "46% tariff on Vietnam" and said the 34 percent rate on China was "too aggressive, too soon."

The International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, which represents immigration court judges as well as other professionals, said in a news release that 15 judges were fired “without cause” on Friday and another two on Monday. The union said they were working in courts in 10 different states across the country — California, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Texas, Utah and Virginia.

Fighters allied to Yemen’s exiled government claimed Wednesday they had seized 750 tons of Iranian-supplied missiles and weaponry bound for the country’s Houthi rebels, the latest interdiction of arms in the country’s decadelong war allegedly tied to Tehran. For years, the U.S. Navy and other Western naval forces have seized Iranian arms being sent to the Houthis, who have held Yemen’s capital since 2014 and have been attacking ships in the Red Sea over the Israel-Hamas war. The seizure announced Wednesday, however, marked the first major interdiction conducted by the National Resistance Force, a group of fighters allied to Tariq Saleh, a nephew of Yemen’s late strongman leader Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Vice President JD Vance cast two tie-breaking votes in the Senate Tuesday to move forward a $9.4B rescissions package — which would rip federal funding from PBS and NPR — in the upper chamber. The Senate deadlocked, 50-50, on two procedural votes to start debate on the multibillion-dollar spending clawback package before Vance’s votes advanced the measure requested by the White House. Three Republicans – Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) – joined all Democrats in opposition to the bill.

In a 6-3 Supreme Court decision today, the majority have blocked a lower court ruling that stopped the Trump administration Dept of Education from downsizing the federal agency. The justices apparently voted 6-3 to stay the lower court ruling with the DEI justices (gay, latino, black) filing a 19-page dissent. [SEE RULING HERE] The high court lifted an injunction a federal judge in Boston granted in May against the firing of Dept of Education bureaucrats. The lower court judge ruled the staff cuts were so drastic they would prevent the department from carrying out duties mandated by Congress.

Former President Joe Biden admitted to the New York Times that he did not individually sign off on each of the pardons issued via his autopen signature to batches of criminals at the end of his term, though he reportedly delineated criteria to staff. In the final months of his term, Biden issued four large sets of pardons, three of which were categorical clemency actions covering large swaths of people, the Times noted Sunday. Per the outlet, Biden approved standards to give out categorical pardons to criminals in his final months in office, but staff ultimately ran a final list of names that supposedly met the criteria through the autopen,

It's been a week and a half since the devastating July 4th flash flooding that ravaged parts of Central Texas, with Kerr County being particularly hard hit. Tragically, as of this writing, 132 have been confirmed dead - including 36 children, while over 160 remain unaccounted for as search and recovery efforts continue. As RedState has reported, the Usual Suspects on the left and in the mainstream media, unfortunately, jumped into "blame game" mode soon after news broke of the flooding, with some blaming DOGE cuts that haven't even gone into effect yet, while others sickeningly took to social media platforms like TikTok to suggest, in a nutshell,

We’ve noted before that today’s Democrats are operating with a mental deficit. A new poll further confirms they are a broken people. After a long stretch of undeserved patience for the bad faith and brutality of Vladimir Putin, President Trump is now conveying, in action as well as words, that he is done being strung along. Big Bird deserves to lose this time. In the past, whenever Republicans have tried to cut federal funding for public broadcasting, the eight-foot-two-inch-tall yellow bird has been trotted out as an exemplar of all that is good and necessary about PBS, and the federal dollars have been preserved. (snip) a Trump-backed recissions bill represents the best chance to defund public broadcasting in decades, if not ever. The bill, clawing back previously appropriated funding, has already passed the House and is now being considered in the Senate, where the filibuster doesn’t apply. The measure targets $9.4 billion in federal spending, including funds for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
