In a 6-3 Supreme Court decision today, the majority have blocked a lower court ruling that stopped the Trump administration Dept of Education from downsizing the federal agency. The justices apparently voted 6-3 to stay the lower court ruling with the DEI justices (gay, latino, black) filing a 19-page dissent. [SEE RULING HERE] The high court lifted an injunction a federal judge in Boston granted in May against the firing of Dept of Education bureaucrats. The lower court judge ruled the staff cuts were so drastic they would prevent the department from carrying out duties mandated by Congress.

I like the designation "DEI judges". The Fake news getting their undies all twisted saying the Court "allowed" the Administration to fire the workers (if you stretch the definition of the term worker). It's none to the Judiciaries business - if you follow the law.

Billionaire Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone has done a 180 after blasting Trump's sweeping tariffs, explaining, "When you made a mistake, admit it." During Langone's appearance on Tuesday on CNBC's "Squawk Box," the co-founder of the home improvement store and top GOP donor said that he was wrong when he called out the president in April suggesting he was getting bad advice from advisors for the "46% tariff on Vietnam" and said the 34 percent rate on China was "too aggressive, too soon."

Seventeen immigration court judges have been fired in recent days, according to the union that represents them, as the Trump administration pushes forward with its mass deportations of immigrants in the country. The International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, which represents immigration court judges as well as other professionals, said in a news release that 15 judges were fired “without cause” on Friday and another two on Monday. The union said they were working in courts in 10 different states across the country — California, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Texas, Utah and Virginia.

Fighters allied to Yemen’s exiled government claimed Wednesday they had seized 750 tons of Iranian-supplied missiles and weaponry bound for the country’s Houthi rebels, the latest interdiction of arms in the country’s decadelong war allegedly tied to Tehran. For years, the U.S. Navy and other Western naval forces have seized Iranian arms being sent to the Houthis, who have held Yemen’s capital since 2014 and have been attacking ships in the Red Sea over the Israel-Hamas war. The seizure announced Wednesday, however, marked the first major interdiction conducted by the National Resistance Force, a group of fighters allied to Tariq Saleh, a nephew of Yemen’s late strongman leader Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Vice President JD Vance cast two tie-breaking votes in the Senate Tuesday to move forward a $9.4B rescissions package — which would rip federal funding from PBS and NPR — in the upper chamber. The Senate deadlocked, 50-50, on two procedural votes to start debate on the multibillion-dollar spending clawback package before Vance’s votes advanced the measure requested by the White House. Three Republicans – Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) – joined all Democrats in opposition to the bill.

John MacArthur, the 86-year-old pastor of a Los Angeles megachurch, died after being hospitalized with pneumonia, his church announced July 14. "This evening, his faith became sight. He faithfully endured until his race was run," Grace to You, the media ministry he founded, posted on X Monday night. MacArthur, pastor of Grace Community Church in the working-class community of Sun Valley since 1969, contracted pneumonia last week, associate Pastor Tom Patton told the congregation at a July 13 service. "He was admitted into the hospital and may be in the presence of the Lord soon," Patton said. "We place our dear pastor at the feet of the glorious savior,

Former President Joe Biden admitted to the New York Times that he did not individually sign off on each of the pardons issued via his autopen signature to batches of criminals at the end of his term, though he reportedly delineated criteria to staff. In the final months of his term, Biden issued four large sets of pardons, three of which were categorical clemency actions covering large swaths of people, the Times noted Sunday. Per the outlet, Biden approved standards to give out categorical pardons to criminals in his final months in office, but staff ultimately ran a final list of names that supposedly met the criteria through the autopen,

It's been a week and a half since the devastating July 4th flash flooding that ravaged parts of Central Texas, with Kerr County being particularly hard hit. Tragically, as of this writing, 132 have been confirmed dead - including 36 children, while over 160 remain unaccounted for as search and recovery efforts continue. As RedState has reported, the Usual Suspects on the left and in the mainstream media, unfortunately, jumped into "blame game" mode soon after news broke of the flooding, with some blaming DOGE cuts that haven't even gone into effect yet, while others sickeningly took to social media platforms like TikTok to suggest, in a nutshell,

Across the political left, from orthodox Democrats to Antifa in the streets, the opposition to President Donald Trump has lost its collective mind. The House minority leader and now self-styled tough guy, New York Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, poses with a baseball bat to show how dangerous he is in opposing Trump’s budget bill. Jeffries harangued Congress for eight hours; New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker went on for 25 — both to no effect. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hit the rally trail in private jets to rail about oligarchs, omitting that the ultra-rich are not only mostly leftists but also the funders of the Democratic Party.

DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin announced the move in an X post late Tuesday. "These depraved monsters have been terrorizing American communities, but thanks to [President Trump] (and) [DHS Secretary Kristi Noem], they are off of American soil." While it’s good for a cheap laugh, because they are often smug, condescending and hateful to those who disagree with them, their fragile psychological state poses a threat to the republic. A Rasmussen poll released Monday found that 60% of Democratic voters still believe “the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to win the 2016 election.” As disturbing as that is, 69% of those who self-identify as “liberals” believe Donald Trump conspired with Moscow to beat Hillary Clinton.
