Uh oh. Democrat swamp rat Jamie Raskin has jumped on the Epstein conspiracy bandwagon, demanding AG Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel and his deputy Dan Bongino testify to Congress about the so-called Epstein files.
After five days of escalating hysteria and chest-beating, including ultimatums to the president to “fire Blondi,” MAGA “influencers” have found themselves on the same side as Raskin, which, needless to say, is the wrong side.
While the whole episode has been handled clumsily by the Trump officials, it is not so difficult to believe that FBI vaults have been scrubbed of meaningful Jeffrey Epstein conspiracy information or never had any,

If I had to do Bondi's job for a day, Epstein would never cross my mind. Criticism of her is entirely unjustified.

Miranda nails it. Leftists are using Epstein to split MAGA and deep-six Donald Trump. Too bad it's working.

Theres a burglar in the house but thats just a distraction. I have to mow the lawn.
If protecting pedophiles brings down the party, the party needs brought down. To knowingly allow such people to represent us and intentionally look the other way doesn't say much for us.

I would think Democrats have more to lose from the "Epstein" tapes. We know Clinton and wife have been there. Honestly, I don't care about it one way or the other. And I seriously doubt Trump is losing MAGA over it. Dream on dems.

If the blackmail was used to influence Governmental and Societal Policy it is most certainly a big thing and still being used today, so I disagree with the thought that it's no big deal.
We'll see. If it starts to break, I think it will happen fast and be very surprising. Cindy McCain needs to write a book. She's the one who said everyone knows. If the lefties like Raskin are calling for disclosure (which he isn't btw) that would paint them into a corner. The trailer trash folks are at the center of this.

Dems better be careful, Bondi just may release some big time Dem names who were frequent flyers on Epsteins lolita express to his island. We already know Bill Clinton was one, I bet there are more!

This lecture that Trump chose to spew was an unforced error.
Bondi should have been left to defend herself. It made it appear like she was doing what she was told to do, and her boss was jumping to her defense.
He needs to reverse course on this and demand release of all Epstein information from the FBI, CIA and DOJ.
If he loses some republicans in the delicate balance in congress, so be it. I am sure more democrats will go down in the scandal anyway. The BB Bill was not worth letting perverts escape justice.

Will someone please explain to me where all this rhetoric was during the last four years? The Democrats were in charge and they could have released the files. This confuses me.

Perhaps a distraction, but come on now. I believe we all know that a lot of seedy things happened with Epstein and that the government has been covering up for some folks. We want to be leveled with. If it's a distraction, it's because the government has made it a distraction. It's not because of democrats although they may appreciate the distraction right now. So, pop the balloon and the distraction goes away. But you don't pop the balloon by lying. Don't say, "Oh we don't have any more info". That's BS. If you can't release info because of security concerns, say that. Say, "Well, the CiA was behind Epstein so we can't release any info" Otherwise, Trump is just like all the other deep state puppets.

I agree it's an unnecessary distraction. Which is why Trump and company need to lance the boil and reveal the information to the public. It's on the Trump Administration.
Hidden people - un-elected and apparently uncontrolled have messed with us since FDR initiated what became the CIA. Enough is enough. They are a greater danger to American Freedom that the Communists!

It's not about the list. It's about justice. It is an odd defense to say 'well, he dined with innocent people and we don't want to hurt them by exposing them. Pretty much every child molester has dined with innocent people.
We don't need Bondi. Yeah, she is doing a good job that if she got run over by a car tomorrow she could be replaced readily. That's not taking away from her. She is doing a good job, sincerely, except she. is not going after the things the red meat that was offered on the campaign trail. The "day one" list included trafficking that included Epstein. This is a bad look for president Trump. What details does he honestly know about matter. He is defending Bondi. I understand that he is loyal, but it doesn't address the issue. This very much looks like there are two sets of laws. Those that go at child molestors without famous friends and then the one for the unwashed.
Where is his special counsel?

One large problem with all the evidence in the Epstein case is that it was in the hands of deep state and Biden toadies for the last four years so there is not reliable chain of evidence on any of the documents. One is a fool to believe that the Democrats haven't fabricated and altered documents and videos to their political advantage.

People's questions and concerns are a distraction, deserving only a curt couple of sentences, saying the DOJ is done with the case? This, after Patel, Bongino, and Bondi have spent 2 years informing us of the egregious behavior of Epstein, his victims, and how they are going to do something about it --- when they get into office. You created the monster, now want to end it with a couple of sentences. Agreed that it doesn't take the nation, or the entirety of the DOJ and FBI, only those that have the job. Only investigating Trump takes the whole DOJ, FBI, CIA, and NSA.

I have a question. Where were all those girls' parents? Were the girls past the age of emancipation? None were children. I continue to be curious.

Some have read Miranda's article. Others should do so. She explains clearly why this is not the time to jump on the bandwagon with the likes of Dem Jamie Raskin. Miranda very well supports her case.

The Epstein case is disappointing. Very disappointing, but the enemy is at the gate and is lobbing everything at us preparing for 2026 and 2028.
There are bigger fish to fry right now and it has to be tackled first. Let's not get into an Internecine battle like the Democrats are doing.

A lot of people will miss the genuinely interesting story in the second half of the piece about the Wray-era FBI's attempt to concoct a "Willard Conspiracy" to incite the J6 disturbance.
As for the rest, either redo the memo to include convincing support for its conclusions or, if the conclusions can't be explained convincingly, redo them. We are well past the point where fixing this mistake would distract less from the Administration's real priorities than continuing to insist that no mistakes were made.

Some people are able to deal with several things in a day.
It is even easier if they have a huge staff of minions as do the head of the Justice Department, and the the head of the FBI.
And if they were going to just ignore something, for strategic purposes, they shouldn't have loudly promised to release the full story prior to 'memory holing it.
Nope. They just realized that THEY could use the salacious details for blackmail just as well as previous administrations did. I'm guessing that is how the 'Big Beautiful Bill' finally got passed.

Thousands of children were raped worldwide, but it's no big deal. They were probably asking for it.
That this could be swept under the rug is absolutely shameful.

Thanks #15. "Children" don't leave home and fly off in a private jet for a few days. At age 15, my parents would have filed a missing person report at midnight if they didn't know where I was (before cell phones). These were not pre-pubescent kids. They appear to be 16-17, one may have been 15. In Kansas marriage at 16 is legal with parental consent, age 15 is legal if signed off by a judge. Absolutely *none of this excuses the perverts*. What I'm curious about is where the mothers of these girls were? Were they trafficking their own daughters? If you don't believe this happens, look at the data for certain communities in Britain and Minneapolis. Would naming names involve the parents of the girls in this sordid story? It's not blaming the victims when they were victimized by those who should have been caring for them.

So......the democrats destroy the evidence and then blame Trump for not releasing the evidence.......4 years later.
Because I guarantee, that's what happened.

You can't always get what you want. h/t Rolling Stones
But we ARE getting what we need. End wars and don't start new ones vs all the stuff that started under Biden? Easy choice. Even if the Epstein stuff got so buried during the last 6 years by all sorts of faceless but powerful involved people that it's impossible to come up with anything indictable?
Again, easy.

The Epstein list of clients was destroyed long ago during the biden the cheater regime. If there is any remaining evidence, IMHO, Trump, Bondi, Patel, Bongino, and any potential leakers have all been threatened with their lives if they spew this evidence or even acknowledge at this stage if it still exists.
Is this a weak attempt to divide the MAGA crowd and weaken Trump? Of course it is.
