For a brief window this week, President Donald Trump was out of the running for a Nobel Peace Prize, after a Ukrainian lawmaker withdrew his nomination on Monday for not ending the war there, and before Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., nominated him on Tuesday for the ceasefire between Israel and Iran. You can imagine the guffaws and hair-pulling from the Trump-is-Hitler crowd at the thought that anyone would see him as a suitable candidate for this prize. Doubt President Trump will win a Nobel Peace Prize. The selection committee is filled with libs. The prize means nothing. Obammie got it and he accomplished nothing.

I think it would be GREAT if President Trump won the Nobel Peace Prize. Not that I have any respect for the award or committee or anything like that. I'd love to see him win it to turn it down with elan since the Nobel Prize committee needs a serious public smack down for as the article states, " lionizing leftist terrorists, liars, and imbeciles." That is, they've awarded the people who have caused the most worldwide trouble, death and destruction for decades now.

Oh good grief! Why do these people feel they have to tell Trump how to do EVERYTHING? If he wants to accept it (and has the opportunity), then that's his business, and he doesn't need a two-bit news site telling him what he should or shouldn't do.

Considering who awards it and why, it is highly unlikely that they will give it Trump. Looking at it another way, if they did they wouldn’t have given it to the dregs they did in the past.

Vice President John Nance Garner once remarked that the Vice Presidency wasn’t worth a warm bucket of spit (but he didn’t say “spit”). The Nobel Peace Prize holds similar acclaim.

Reason #1, in my book. When they awarded the Peace Prize to Obama, the Nobel Committee has proven to the world that the prize (like the Pulitzer) is meaningless.

I would like to see him withdraw the nomination. It is, as many here have said, meaningless after they gave it to Obama. I don't see any value in It, but it looks like it could lead to an effort to embarrass him. President Trump already stands shoulder to shoulder with the Founders in my mind. What award could anyone offer him that would do him justice? It's just another framed award on the office ego wall.

The Nobel prize was notoriously given to Obama, for “potential”. Even Obama was embarrassed to receive it. If they give it to Trump, that it shows that they’re trying really hard to get out of the sand trap. If not, we get to know once and for all, that it went the way of the Dodo, and their Literature prize…

Nobody wants the Ukraine war to end but everyone expects the United States to keep pumping money into it. Donald Trump is smarter than that. If it costs him the equivalent of a Hollywood Oscar, it won't bother him a bit. Anything that Barack Obama could win is guaranteed to be worthless.

I doubt if the Nobel folks would award Trump the prize. That being said, if he did win, he should travel to Stockholm, accept the award, and then give the speech of a lifetime to the rest of the world.

Zohran Mamdani, winner of the Democratic Party’s New York City mayoral primary, is overflowing with Marxist ideas of how to govern that are so lousy that it’s hard to believe he got more than his own vote in Tuesday’s election. Each of them is horrendous, from free bus services to rent control to punitive taxes on those who create prosperity, but none are quite so laughable as his proposal to establish a chain of city-run grocery stores. Mamdani’s campaign literature – overflowing with empty leftist jargon – says if elected he “will create a network of city-owned grocery stores focused on keeping prices low, not making a profit.”

Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett, an ideal representative for the lunatic constituency, said last week that Donald Trump supporters are mentally ill. Has she looked at the party she is willingly a member of? Or even herself? No, because if she did, she’d realize that it’s her side that is not well. There are a number of patients who need to be seen, certainly millions, but first, we’ll check in with James Carville. While he’s no longer the Democratic Party’s hottest shot, and doesn’t have the influence he once had as Bill Clinton’s main hack, he’s still emblematic of the left’s descent into madness. Consider

Let’s not beat around the bush: as a speechwriter at the highest levels of politics and business for 45 years – including the most successful presidential campaign in history – this commentator can present you an undeniable truth. President Donald J. Trump’s remarks Saturday night in the wake of America’s “spectacular military success” striking Iran’s key nuclear facilities didn’t necessarily amount to an oration for the ages. But they did showcase a heroic man rising to a historic moment – and then some – with a pithy, powerful and pointed address.

Carbon dioxide, we’ve been told over and again, is the enemy that must be subdued if we are to avoid catastrophic global warming. It is, however, a faulty premise. Physics, not politics, tells us that man’s CO2 emissions will not cause catastrophic climate change nor an increase in extreme weather. “The common belief that CO2 is the main driver of climate change and the EPA Endangerment Finding assertion that ‘elevated concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere may reasonably be anticipated’ to endanger the public health and welfare are scientifically false,” conclude the authors of a new paper.

The Los Angeles riots, the “No Kings” protests, and Israel’s attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities have taken attention away from the growing scandal of former President Joe Biden’s age-related mental issues and whether White House aides illegally made decisions on the ailing commander in chief’s behalf. But the scandal remains and, as the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows, a majority of Americans want an investigation. It’s a scandal of huge proportions, with the media covering it up and rogue political actors both inside and outside of the White House hiding Biden’s mental problems and, possibly, even making decisions for a president

The first five months of the Trump administration have seen Democrat and media opponents completely lose their minds. When not screeching about threats to Democracy, they’ve been howling about massive spending cuts, warning about runaway inflation, and predicting a collapse in tax revenues. Not one of these is coming to pass. The latest monthly spending and revenue data from the Treasury Department. shows that from February through May of this year, federal spending was $37 billion higher than those same months last year. Got that? Higher.

This is a fair question from Matt Continetti, who recites some of the relevant quotations before posing it. I'll add to the list. President Bill Clinton described a nuclearlzed Iran as intolerable and signed the Iran Nonproliferation Act of 2000, "which authorize[d] him to take punitive action against individuals or organizations known to be providing material aid to weapons of mass destruction (WMD) programs in Iran." President George W. Bush intoned in 2008 that "permitting the world’s leading sponsor of terror to possess the world’s deadliest weapon would be an unforgivable betrayal of future generations."

The Iranian foreign ministry admitted that their nuclear facilities were “badly damaged” by U.S. strikes over the weekend after reports surfaced about a low-confidence U.S. intelligence assessment suggesting otherwise. Numerous outlets reported Wednesday on an early intelligence assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency suggesting the U.S. strikes only set Iran’s nuclear program back a few months. The White House strongly disputed the intelligence assessment and criticized the leakers within the intelligence apparatus. “This alleged ‘assessment’ is flat-out wrong and was classified as ‘top secret’ but was still leaked to CNN by an anonymous, low-level loser in the intelligence community.

CNN last week got their hands on a classified document stolen from the National Security Agency. That’s a felony punishable by ten years in prison, by the way. The stolen document guessed that the efforts by Israel and America to neutralize Iran’s nuclear weapon program had set back the program by only “a few months.” CNN and the rest of the media cabal could hardly contain their glee. They celebrated the failure of America and Israel. Hardly mentioned in CNN’s report was that the document itself noted that its conclusions were merely “preliminary” and were expressed with only “low confidence.”
