New: Lisa Murkowski Considers Bailing
on GOP, Turning Independent

Original Article

The Great Land's senior Senator, Princess Lisa Murkowski (R, supposedly - AK), is in the news again, this time suggesting that she might consider bailing on the Republican Party and becoming an Independent. That's not surprising to those of us here in the Great Land who have followed Princess Lisa's career; I'm not enamored of the term RINO (Republican in Name Only) as I think it's far too liberally (hah) applied, but in this case, it certainly applies. As an example, I might point out our last election, in which Princess Lisa tossed Democrat Mary Peltola some props at the cost of Republican Nick Begich III, who ended up winning.

She was financially supported by Mitch McCon-man when he led the Senate Republicans. It's the only way she could run a campaign as an independent after losing the Republican primary. She would certainly be primaried now anyway, and since sugar daddy Mitch is no longer around, she realizes she'll have to start fund-raising as an independent sooner if she's to have a chance at winning. Let's hope Alaskans have finally had enough of her.

The witch in 2024...... March 24, 2024 "Sen. Lisa Murkowski, a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump, signaled that she would be open to leaving the Republican Party." "Pressed on whether she is considering becoming an independent, Murkowski replied, “I’m very independent-minded,” adding, “I just regret that our party is seemingly becoming a party of Donald Trump.” "Murkowski demurred when asked whether she would be open to being an independent who caucuses with Republicans." “I am navigating my way through some very interesting political times. Let’s just leave it at that,” she said in an interview that aired on CNN Sunday." Many are tired of kissing your feet.

Operation Midnight Hammer, this weekend’s US bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, was a revealing moment on multiple fronts. First, it confirmed that Iran’s story about peaceful energy development, never very believable, was false. Nobody does peaceful research under hundreds of feet of rock and concrete. And former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev came right out and admitted that Iran was building nuclear weapons. We knew that, but still . . . It also established that most of the “anti-war” crowd are just anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-West activists.

At least three people have been killed after a missile launched from Iran struck a residential building in the southern Israeli city of Beer Sheva, CNN reported on Tuesday, citing Israel’s emergency services. According to CNN’s Eugenia Yosef and Lex Harvey, the casualties include a man approximately 40 years old, a woman about 30, and a man around 20. Six additional people sustained injuries ranging from light to moderate, the emergency response organization Magen David Adom (MDA) said in a statement. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that missiles had been launched from Iran toward Israel and issued instructions for residents to seek shelter immediately.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court has issued a big win to the Donald Trump administration. The ruling pauses an order from a lower court judge that required the administration to give illegal immigrants a warning before sending them to other countries with which they have no prior ties. The program, called “third-country removal,” was shot down by a federal judge in May. U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy blocked the administration’s attempt to deport a group of immigrants to South Sudan. Shocker: Murphy is a Joe Biden appointee.

That said, it comes as zero surprise that United Nations Secretary General António Guterres has condemned President Donald Trump's attack on Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend, while saying zero about the radical Islamists intentionally targeting Israeli civilian areas, including a civilian hospital.

A year ago, the regime in Tehran had the Biden administration cowed into suppressing Israeli action against the country. Iran has told the United States that it will attack Israel directly unless the Biden administration secures a ceasefire in Gaza, according to an Arab diplomatic source who spoke with Jadeh Iran. The ultimatum follows an Israeli attack on an Iranian diplomatic facility in Damascus last week. The source told Jadeh Iran that a ceasefire could also lead to progress on other aspects of the U.S.-Iran relationship. This comes following mediation by Oman between the U.S. and Iran.

Did the B-2 bomber strikes on Fordow accomplish its intended mission -- to shut down the nuclear-weapons development site? Some wondered at just how much damage the strikes caused after the US released before-and-after aerial photos of the redoubt. Apart from six neatly spaced holes in the ground, very little surface disruption could be seen, causing some to question Donald Trump's claim to have eliminated Fordow's capabilities. Not so fast, Rafael Grossi testified today. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency delivered an assessment of the situation in Vienna, and it should remind everyone of two salient points. First, the GBU-57 bunker busters are designed to create underground damage

Israel hit key Iranian targets in a fresh series of devastating airstrikes Monday, attacking the headquarters of the country’s elite military police force and blowing off the front of its most notorious, brutal prison. The most intense bombing yet of government sites around Tehran came a day after the US joined Israel’s war on thwarting the Islamic Republic from being able to build nuclear bombs. “The Iranian dictator will be punished with full force for attacking the Israeli home front,” Israel’s Defense Ministry said of the latest attacks. Shocking security footage shows one missile strike blasting open the doors of Evin Prison, where the Islamic Republic held its opponents and critics

It was over before the media knew about it. It was front-page news before most congressional Democrats found out about it. And they're really steamed over it.
