Nonetheless, the combination of hypocrisy, historical illiteracy, and constitutional ignorance that characterized their reaction to the raid was startling even by Democrat standards. Several actually claimed that Trump somehow committed an impeachable offence by ordering the strikes, though none seemed able to specify any “high crimes” or “misdemeanors.” Some insisted that Trump violated the War Powers Act.

President Trump on Tuesday said the U.S. knows where Iran has hidden Ayatollah Ali Khamenei while Israeli bombs drop.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there — We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Mr. Trump wrote on social media. “But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.”
In another post Tuesday, he called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender” in all caps.He said earlier, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran.”

The weekend’s grand military parade in Washington to celebrate the Army’s 250th anniversary was a feel-good patriotic triumph and a rebuke to Democrats and their mean-spirited, small-minded anti-Trump protests.
America has the mightiest army in the world. It’s something to be proud and patriotic about. Why not celebrate?
And what a show it was, with uniforms dating back to the Revolutionary War, 6,600 soldiers, 150 vehicles and 50 helicopters participating, not to mention a robot dog and drones. The parade was a display of pride in our troops and their awesome weaponry, but importantly, it also stood as a warning to our adversaries at a time of global peril,

Last Friday alone three more wins were added to the list. The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the White House may exclude AP from its press pool while SCOTUS stayed a district court order requiring DOGE to heed a Freedom of Information Act request and ruled that it can access Social Security Administration records.

The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it.
The assessment, which has not been previously reported, was produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm. It is based on a battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command in the aftermath of the US strikes, one of the sources said.

Spain's government is preparing to block an agreement among NATO countries to raise defence spending to 5% of GDP just days out from a major summit, Spanish media has reported.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is pushing for members of the transatlantic security bloc to boost their defence spending to 5% GDP by 2032, after US President Donald Trump declared America's allies were shirking their responsibilities.
