Are there two more incompetent people in California than Harris and Newsom? Yet over half of the people in the state support Harris for governor and that many likely support Newsom for president. So yes, she could win in California and I doubt it would take three months before they would be sorry they voted for her. If Newsom is the best the Dems have to offer for president, they are a lost cause too.

Think about it, what other profession can an illiterate like Kamala Harris thrive in besides politics. Look at Biden's whole staff, including himself, plus his whole cabinet, where not one of them were remotely qualified for their positions. Half of the people in congress are nothing more than useful idiots. Got it.

President Trump may be a second-term president now, but he hasn’t lost his penchant for surprising critics and supporters alike. No one could be sure what he would do about the Israel-Iran war. Had he played a role in setting it up, by duping the Iranians into believing he wanted to strike a “deal” to arrest their nuclear-weapons program? Or was he negotiating in good faith and blindsided by Israel? Would he involve America in the war or not? And if he did, would regime change in Tehran be his goal?

We began last week with the lingering effects of the neutered “No Kings” protests, which must be considered to have been effective; we have no king in the country! As the week wore on there were a number of petty and bitter news items emerging, all done to throw more criticisms at the Trump administration. Then of course it culminated in the bombing mission in Iran, which we all knew would deliver dysfunctional reporting and reactions. So let’s tug on the hip waders and begin trudging through the swamp that is our media complex and determine who took top (bottom) honors this week.

It was hardly necessary to consult Nostradamus to know that the Democrats would denounce President Trump’s decision to bomb three Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday. Nonetheless, the combination of hypocrisy, historical illiteracy, and constitutional ignorance that characterized their reaction to the raid was startling even by Democrat standards. Several actually claimed that Trump somehow committed an impeachable offence by ordering the strikes, though none seemed able to specify any “high crimes” or “misdemeanors.” Some insisted that Trump violated the War Powers Act.

The weekend’s grand military parade in Washington to celebrate the Army’s 250th anniversary was a feel-good patriotic triumph and a rebuke to Democrats and their mean-spirited, small-minded anti-Trump protests. America has the mightiest army in the world. It’s something to be proud and patriotic about. Why not celebrate? And what a show it was, with uniforms dating back to the Revolutionary War, 6,600 soldiers, 150 vehicles and 50 helicopters participating, not to mention a robot dog and drones. The parade was a display of pride in our troops and their awesome weaponry, but importantly, it also stood as a warning to our adversaries at a time of global peril,

Most Americans think of the Civil War as an unambiguous conflict between the North and the South over slavery, and that is generally accurate. It was an insurrection against the federal government committed by 11 states whose Democrat governors and legislators feared that the recently elected Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, would deprive them of their non-citizen labor force. These state officials vowed to resist any attempt by the federal government to put down their rebellion and routinely denounced the new president as an aspiring dictator. Why does this sound familiar?

The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it. The assessment, which has not been previously reported, was produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm. It is based on a battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command in the aftermath of the US strikes, one of the sources said.

This is a fair question from Matt Continetti, who recites some of the relevant quotations before posing it. I'll add to the list. President Bill Clinton described a nuclearlzed Iran as intolerable and signed the Iran Nonproliferation Act of 2000, "which authorize[d] him to take punitive action against individuals or organizations known to be providing material aid to weapons of mass destruction (WMD) programs in Iran." President George W. Bush intoned in 2008 that "permitting the world’s leading sponsor of terror to possess the world’s deadliest weapon would be an unforgivable betrayal of future generations."

While the Associated Press had yet to project a winner in New York City's Democratic Party mayoral primary Tuesday night, former Gov. Mamdani, a 33-year-old state assembly member from Queens who is originally from Uganda, topped the former three-term governor and nine other candidates in a crowded primary field in an election that was determined by ranked-choice voting.
