'Gravely Alarmed' UN Secretary General
Slams Trump Taking Out Nuke Sites As 'Dangerous Escalation'

Original Article

Before I complete the first sentence of this article, I'm confident that most if not all who read it can agree on at least one thing: The United Nations — the UN Human Rights Council, in particular —has not only disproportionately condemned Israel, for decades; it has also been inherently adversarial to the United States with respect to many U.S. positions and initiatives, for decades. That said, it comes as zero surprise that United Nations Secretary General António Guterres has condemned President Donald Trump's attack on Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend, while saying zero about the radical Islamists intentionally targeting Israeli civilian areas, including a civilian hospital.

Guteres expressed no escalation alarms as Iran has rained thousands of missiles onto Israel over the last year. I hope Trump forces other nations to pay their share for funding the UN, and stops funding those efforts that are anti-American.

Decades of toothless warnings for their nuke development to cease were met with decades of empty promises and obstinate noncompliance. To continue that dance for even another few steps would allow them to achieve the goal. And the mullahs having the nuke would have been a far more dangerous escalation.

#16 may have it right. The UN Anti-American employees would be devastated if we kicked them out. No more fancy meals, no more expensive wines and apartments on their country's dime (and some of ours). They are long past their sell-by date and serve no useful purpose. The UN is now an adversary of the US. Get rid of them or at least cut off ALL our funding.

The only thing better than getting rid of Guterres would be to drop out of the UN, which would essentially kill it without our money to support it. I wonder if DOGE has come to that conclusion yet? Turn that building into an ICE processing center. New York taxi drivers and hookers would be adversely affected.

n an absolutely stunning and clueless display of hubris, the vice mayor of the L.A. County city of Cudahy — a government "educator" — took to social media to call for well-armed gangs to defend "their streets" against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers. No, really. Whose side are they on, anyway? Just when you thought Los Angeles had quieted down — the curfews were removed and the chaos agents had gone back to doing whatever it is they do when they're not setting things on fire or looting — the county could go completely sideways after this. And, yes, this is what you could call fomenting "insurrection." Really.

FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino dropped a political bombshell Tuesday, accusing the bureau’s former leadership of deliberately burying explosive evidence that pointed to a Chinese plot to rig the 2020 election in Joe Biden’s favor. According to the two top officials, former FBI brass “chose to play politics” instead of doing their jobs—suppressing key intelligence that exposed an apparent scheme by China to flood the system with fake mail-in ballots. The plan allegedly involved mass-producing phony U.S. driver’s licenses, paving the way for fraudulent ballots to be cast on a scale that could alter the outcome of a presidential election. The revelations came just a week

The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it. The assessment, which has not been previously reported, was produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm. It is based on a battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command in the aftermath of the US strikes, one of the sources said.

President Donald Trump uncharacteristically lost his temper a bit when discussing violations of the ceasefire between Iran and Israel with reporters on Tuesday. Trump took a moment to discuss overnight developments in the Middle East before heading off to attend a NATO summit in The Hague, Netherlands. Hours after the president announced a ceasefire between the warring nations, Israel accused Iran of violating it by launching missiles. They, in turn, planned retaliatory strikes on Tehran. Iran denied the missile launches, while Trump expressed frustration with both nations, particularly Israel, for undermining the fragile truce.

Operation Midnight Hammer, this weekend’s US bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, was a revealing moment on multiple fronts. First, it confirmed that Iran’s story about peaceful energy development, never very believable, was false. Nobody does peaceful research under hundreds of feet of rock and concrete. And former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev came right out and admitted that Iran was building nuclear weapons. We knew that, but still . . . It also established that most of the “anti-war” crowd are just anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-West activists.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court has issued a big win to the Donald Trump administration. The ruling pauses an order from a lower court judge that required the administration to give illegal immigrants a warning before sending them to other countries with which they have no prior ties. The program, called “third-country removal,” was shot down by a federal judge in May. U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy blocked the administration’s attempt to deport a group of immigrants to South Sudan. Shocker: Murphy is a Joe Biden appointee.

You might be forgiven for having missed it when “Lovely One” came out. As the media politely notes, it was “briefly” on the New York Times bestseller list and is now going for half price on Amazon. That is mostly to be expected of the ghostwritten memoir of an obscure judge. Except that Jackson received a $893,750 advance for her memoir and is now reporting $2 million in profits last year. But it isn’t—because the Fed expects President Trump’s tariffs to raise inflation, and it’s choosing to act on that forecast instead. “If you just look at the basic data and don’t look at the forecast, you would say that we would’ve continued cutting,” Powell told lawmakers. “The difference, of course, is at this time all forecasters are expecting pretty soon that some significant inflation will show up
