Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) teared up during a Tuesday speech on the Senate floor while recounting being “physically” and “aggressively forced out” of a press conference for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Los Angeles. The Democratic lawmaker said his federal escorts “stood by silently” as he was wrestled to the ground for interrupting Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem (R) on Thursday. “I was physically and aggressively forced out of the room, even as I repeatedly announced I was a United States senator and I had a question for the secretary; even as the National Guardsman and the FBI

All members of Congress wear badges in the lapel of their jackets to identify themselves as Congressional members. This allows them to
move about freely. For whatever reason, the Senator chose not to wear his lapel badge on that particular day-. Senator Padilla is a backbencher, so his face is not that familiar to everyone. The fault lies with the Senator. No one else.

That would be a YES, #6. Padilla got a fundraising e-mail out right after the event; probably was worked up even before he got hand-cuffed.

This is the same guy who thinks female athletes have a duty to put up with grown men in their showers and locker rooms and "compete" against them on female sports teams. My guess is he felt humiliated by the treatment he received, because the feds just didn't recognize how special he is.

NOBODY even knew who he was! He's never been voted into the Senate seat from California either. He's a stand-in, and a big impetuous doofus who feels compelled to "act up" to be simpatico with his barrio bro's.

This is part two of Padilla's fundraising effort. Note how NYC mayoral candidate Lander was quick to try out the same trick.

Former secretary of state. He was appointed to Kamala's seat. Stood for election for tje re4ainder for her term and another full term and won both because no one knew the R candidate. He was junior senator until DiFi died and he became senior. PDL.

You said you were a Senator but acted like someone ready to attack a member of Trump's cabinet. This past week-end two elected representatives in the Minnesota legislature and their spouses were attacked and one couple killed simply because they trustingly opened their door to someone wearing a policeman's uniform. So it's prudent to make sure of who someone is before letting them get close to you.

As a Californian voter, I think Padilla is a useless waste of space and vote against him at every opportunity.
Our other Senator, Adam Schiff, is worse because he is also a waste of space. In addition, he is evil, IMHO.
