U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after suffering an allergic reaction, according to a DHS spokesperson. She was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital. It is unclear what triggered the event. Noem is said to be alert and recovering. Bruce LeVell, former Executive Director of President Donald Trump's National Diversity Coalition, took to social media to send Noem well wishes. Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) teared up during a Tuesday speech on the Senate floor while recounting being “physically” and “aggressively forced out” of a press conference for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Los Angeles. The Democratic lawmaker said his federal escorts “stood by silently” as he was wrestled to the ground for interrupting Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem (R) on Thursday. “I was physically and aggressively forced out of the room, even as I repeatedly announced I was a United States senator and I had a question for the secretary; even as the National Guardsman and the FBI

New Yorkers voting in the Democratic Primary are questioning why Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani is listed first, at the very top of the ballot sheet. Mamdani — an assemblyman who has gained momentum in recent polling to catch up with favorite Andrew Cuomo — has copped backlash for his refusal to acknowledge Israel having a right to exist as a Jewish state and his involvement in the “BDS” movement, which seeks to divert US funding to the country. The 33-year-old candidate, who is a Muslim, has also raised eyebrows with his pie in the sky policy proposals, such as city-owned

The 39-year-old man shot and killed at a weekend “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake City was a successful fashion designer and former “Project Runway” contestant who devoted his life to celebrating artists from the Pacific Islands. Arthur Folasa Ah Loo was killed when a man who was believed to be part of a peacekeeping team for the protest shot at a person brandishing a rifle at demonstrators, accidentally striking Ah Loo. Ah Loo later died at the hospital, authorities said. Detectives don’t yet know why the alleged rifleman pulled out a weapon or ran from the peacekeepers, but they

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz took a coded swipe at President Donald Trump in a call to “decency” Sunday night after the arrest of a suspect accused of shooting two state lawmakers, killing one, and targeting a third in what he called a devastating breach of democratic norms. (Snip) Walz urged a return to political decency, linking the attack to a national climate of rhetorical hostility and calling out “mean tweets”: A moment in this country where we watch violence erupt, this cannot be the norm. It cannot be the way that we deal with our political differences. Now is the

Los Angeles is home to a reported 1.8 million Spanish-speaking residents, but rarely do they hear the national anthem sung in that language. On Saturday night at Dodger Stadium, with 51,548 fans on their feet and television cameras trained on the field, Vanessa Hernández stood behind home plate and sang the national anthem, which is traditionally sung before every sporting event in the United States. Only this time, it was different. (Snip) Wearing a shirt adorned with the flag of her family’s homeland, Hernández’s voice quivered with emotion as she reached the final line, her eyes welling with tears. But

LOS ANGELES -- More than 2,000 "No Kings Day" protests were held across the U.S. on Saturday to protest the Trump administration and to counterprogram the military parade in Washington, D.C. The demonstrations remained peaceful in almost all cities, but as the evening grew in Los Angeles, tensions escalated between police and protesters. (Snip) Ahead of the planned curfew set to go into effect at 8 p.m., LAPD is asking all demonstrators to leave the Civic Center area in downtown. Shortly before the request, the LAPD said officers had requested assistance due to "agitators" throwing objects at officers. Earlier, a dispersal

"No Kings" events in Anoka and northeast Minneapolis have been canceled so far on Saturday, following the targeted shootings at the homes of two Minnesota lawmakers. Organizers say the cancellations are due to a shelter-in-place order and "ongoing safety concerns" after the shootings targeting DFL Sen. John Hoffman and DFL Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman. Gov. Tim Walz has since said Hortman and her husband are dead, and Hoffman and his wife are wounded following the "politically motivated" shooting. There’s been a new, disturbing development in the case of the Chinese plot to interfere in the 2020 election. (snip) According to the recall notice, intelligence agencies weren’t just asked to disregard the report — they were ordered to “destroy all copies” and “remove the original report from all computer holdings.” This wasn’t routine bureaucratic cleanup. It was a deliberate effort to wipe damning evidence from existence. The FBI didn’t just bury credible intelligence about Chinese election interference; it tried to scrub it from history.

FBI Director Kash Patel dropped a bombshell Monday evening, handing Congress an intelligence report that raises serious questions about China’s role in the 2020 election. According to the report, Chinese operatives mass-produced counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses as part of a broader scheme to flood the system with fake mail-in ballots—benefiting… you guessed it… Joe Biden. This wasn’t just foreign meddling—it was industrial-scale fraud, enabled by a broken mail-in voting system the Democrats have long been exploiting. The report confirms what many of us suspected all along: the integrity of the 2020 election wasn’t just compromised—it was hijacked.

Little noticed in the hyper-compressed news cycle is the minor revolt among some of Trump's strongest supporters, who are loudly dissenting from the Trump Iran policies. "Hey, I voted for peace!" seems to be the war cry. John wrote about Trump's split with Tucker Carlson last night. Both Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon have been pushing back on Trump's support for the war, and both have been accusing Israel of betraying the United States by dragging us into the war. They are just the tip of the iceberg. A significant fraction of the "America First" MAGA influencers are inclined to see that policy as "Fortress America,"

As you may have noticed, celebrations of “pride” have been much more subdued this Pride Month than they were in recent memory. The parades this year are less conspicuous and bombastic. Corporate websites are less obnoxious and explicit. And perhaps most notably, triumphant in-store displays have disappeared almost entirely or, at the very least, are much smaller and more restrained than in past years. According to some in the mainstream media, all of this moderation—or abandonment—of LGBT “pride” has the same root cause as all evils in contemporary America: Donald Trump. The president is so mean, so nasty, and so omnipotent that companies fear him and

A lot has been made in recent days, particularly on X, over what some have perceived as a schism forming amongst Trump's base, with, in basic terms, the "America first" side favoring diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict while the more pragmatic wing seemed to be open to the U.S.
