With respect to Israel and Iran, talk of peace is in the air. We are beset with calls from various quarters to “de-escalate” the situation there, lest wider war break out. President Trump, who partnered with Israel in deceiving Iran prior to Israel’s preemptive strike, is now talking about making another deal with Iran. I hope he doesn’t mean it. The last thing Israel, or anyone else, should be thinking about is another agreement with the mullahs.

Rodney Hinton, Jr., a black man from Ohio, reportedly ran down a retired white police officer who was directing traffic for a college graduation—and Hinton has garnered generous support, both from the black community and the left. The officer allegedly murdered by Hinton was a man named Larry Henderson, a public servant who dedicated more than three decades of his life to his community, serving across a number of different law enforcement agencies.

I keep hearing about how I don’t want ICE raiding Home Depots, factories, and non-Beatles strawberry fields or sending away 30-year illegal aliens or illegal alien honor students. I’m told that Donald Trump only promised to deport criminal aliens – in the sense that they committed other crimes besides the crime they committed by being illegal aliens – and that Trump can’t actually send criminal aliens away either.

Rapper Lizzo jumped to her social media to misquote a Florida county sheriff who warned protesters that if they break laws while protesting, they will face serious consequences, and maybe even death.
Last week, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey warned protesters not to block local roads with their protests because drivers might run them over. He also predicted that if protesters throw bricks or bottles or point guns at police officers, the department will “kill you graveyard dead.”
But Lizzo did not grasp the sheriff’s message, and instead claimed that Ivey was saying that he would “kill anyone who exercises their First Amendment right to protest,”
