With respect to Israel and Iran, talk of peace is in the air. We are beset with calls from various quarters to “de-escalate” the situation there, lest wider war break out. President Trump, who partnered with Israel in deceiving Iran prior to Israel’s preemptive strike, is now talking about making another deal with Iran. I hope he doesn’t mean it. The last thing Israel, or anyone else, should be thinking about is another agreement with the mullahs.

Comments:

Great presentation of the arguments for letting Israel finish the job in Iran.

I agree. Never waste time 'negotiating' with people who are professional, unrepentant LIARS. Whatever is negotiated isn't worth a nickel.

This is another head fake. A non-negotiable condition is that Iran give up enrichment. It will also include so called research reactors that Rubin ordinary Uranium but produce Plutonium, which is worse. That’s something the mullahs will never agree to. Both Trump and Netanyahu know this.

Trump deceiving Iran? Isn't that what Iran has been doing to everyone for the last twenty years. Just going through the motions of negotiations while hiding their nuclear activity from U.N. inspectors.

The passion to make a deal has NOTHING to do with peace in the world and everything to do with "LOOK AT ME... I (and only I) made a deal to stop Iran! If he does make his deal, the real money is on a three year time frame before it implodes!

In the 1960s and 1970s, a totalitarian movement almost destroyed the republic. Now it threatens to do so again.Recently, I wrote an essay on the late 19th-century Russian pogroms that forced my great-grandparents to flee to the United States. I observed the striking and foreboding parallels between that old eruption of Jew-hatred and the rise of Red-Green Alliance antisemitism in the United States. I did so to highlight a peculiar irony of history: None of this is new.

On Friday, the story of an American citizen being held by immigration officials for ten days burst into the political sphere. It was the perfect storm for the press, who were salivating over the opportunity to turn one of the Trump administration's best polling issues into a liability. As the original reporting went, Jose Hermosillo was wrongfully arrested in Albuquerque, NM, and held for over a week despite telling ICE officials that he was an American. It wasn't until his family showed up with a birth certificate and a Social Security card that he was released.

Several days ago, invoking the Alien Enemies Act (“AEA”), President Trump ordered that “250 Tren de Aragua members and 23 MS-13 members wanted for alleged crimes in El Salvador” be deported. The woke left, led by the Soros minions, immediately asked Judge James Boasberg of the US District Court in DC to stop it—and amazingly, he agreed via minimalist “minute orders.” Boasberg ignored Trump’s findings and ordered that the planes carrying the deportees (already en route to El Salvador) return to the US. This grotesquely wrong decision justifies impeachment.

In a recent podcast interview with popular host Joe Rogan, comedian Bill Murray complained about the false description he felt famous journalist Bob Woodward had rendered of Murray’s good friend, the late John Belushi. As he expounded to Rogan on what he felt was Woodward’s gross inaccuracy, Murray mused that as a result, he began to think that President Nixon was framed by Woodward’s similarly false reporting during the Watergate scandal. While Murray was not making a serious allegation about Watergate, in fact he was generally correct:

That principle was, of course, tested during Donald Trump’s first presidential administration. He seemed to want to treat the Department of Justice as a mere adjunct of his own presidency, under the unitary executive theory.

They also sent messages to Israel saying it is in the interest of both sides to keep the violence contained.

AUSTIN, Texas — Juneteenth celebrations have been scaled back this year due to funding shortfalls as companies and municipalities across the country reconsider their support for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Canceled federal grants and businesses moving away from so-called brand activism have hit the bottom line of parades and other events heading into Thursday’s federal holiday, which celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. The shrinking financial support coincides with many companies severing ties with LGBTQ celebrations for Pride this year and President Donald Trump’s efforts to squash DEI programs throughout the federal government.

FBI Director Kash Patel dropped a bombshell Monday evening, handing Congress an intelligence report that raises serious questions about China’s role in the 2020 election. According to the report, Chinese operatives mass-produced counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses as part of a broader scheme to flood the system with fake mail-in ballots—benefiting… you guessed it… Joe Biden. This wasn’t just foreign meddling—it was industrial-scale fraud, enabled by a broken mail-in voting system the Democrats have long been exploiting. The report confirms what many of us suspected all along: the integrity of the 2020 election wasn’t just compromised—it was hijacked.
