Iran has been urgently signaling that it seeks an end to hostilities and resumption of talks over its nuclear programs, sending messages to Israel and the United States via Arab intermediaries, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing officials.
The report quotes officials as saying that Tehran has told Arab officials they would be open to returning to the negotiating table as long as the US doesn’t join the hostilities.
They also sent messages to Israel saying it is in the interest of both sides to keep the violence contained.

Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) teared up during a Tuesday speech on the Senate floor while recounting being “physically” and “aggressively forced out” of a press conference for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Los Angeles. The Democratic lawmaker said his federal escorts “stood by silently” as he was wrestled to the ground for interrupting Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem (R) on Thursday. “I was physically and aggressively forced out of the room, even as I repeatedly announced I was a United States senator and I had a question for the secretary; even as the National Guardsman and the FBI

A long list of Hollywood celebrities took to the streets Saturday as tens of thousands of mostly white, older Americans joined the “No Kings” protests in many big, deep-blue cities.
Celebs including Mark Ruffalo, Ellen Pompeo, Kerry Washington, Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Cryer, and more were seen mixing with the hoi polloi in places like New York City and Los Angeles.
For instance, Disney and Marvel Studios star Mark Ruffalo, who was seen parading with actress Susan Sarandon, turned out on the streets of New York City to join the anti-Trump crowds.
“We see a president who has made himself a king and a dictator,” Ruffalo absurdly declared at the rally.

AUSTIN, Texas — Juneteenth celebrations have been scaled back this year due to funding shortfalls as companies and municipalities across the country reconsider their support for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
Canceled federal grants and businesses moving away from so-called brand activism have hit the bottom line of parades and other events heading into Thursday’s federal holiday, which celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. The shrinking financial support coincides with many companies severing ties with LGBTQ celebrations for Pride this year and President Donald Trump’s efforts to squash DEI programs throughout the federal government.

TEL AVIV, Israel — President Donald Trump on Monday posted on his social media site an ominous message calling for the immediate evacuation of the Iranian capital of Tehran while he’s in Canada attending the G7 summit.
Trump had said more than once during the day that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. He emphasized that again in his social media post, writing “IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.” He said Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ he told them to sign to prevent what he said was “a shame, and waste of human life,” referring to Israel’s attack last week.

There’s a narrative being pushed heavily by Democrat leaders and the media that the protests over the weekend were basically nonviolent and peaceful. I would argue that if you have to brag about that, that’s telling in of itself, but in this day and age, it also means it’s probably not entirely true. (Snip) In fact, there is footage of a bunch of “protesters” attacking a car in Los Angeles. The driver, who had every reason to be fearful, drove through them, running over one of the women attacking the vehicle. [Tweet, video]
It remains to be seen what will happen in this case.

It’s strange how I keep being told by the regime media and Democrat political flunkies, to the limited extent that those are different things, about how I didn’t vote for what Donald Trump is doing to illegal aliens. I keep hearing about how I don’t want ICE raiding Home Depots, factories, and non-Beatles strawberry fields or sending away 30-year illegal aliens or illegal alien honor students. I’m told that Donald Trump only promised to deport criminal aliens – in the sense that they committed other crimes besides the crime they committed by being illegal aliens – and that Trump can’t actually send criminal aliens away either.

President Trump has come out swinging against "Kooky" Tucker Carlson after the podcaster and former Fox News host predicted the demise of Trump's presidency if the United States were to get involved in the escalating hostilities between Israel and Iran. While Trump and Carlson have seemed chummy at times in recent years, Carlson rather infamously texted a friend back in 2021 of his eagerness to see the backside of the president, saying, "I hate him passionately."
Things between the two got very heated Monday after Carlson appeared on Steve Bannon's "War Room" show and claimed Iran would be the president's ultimate downfall. Despite claiming to "really love Trump"

FBI Director Kash Patel dropped a bombshell Monday evening, handing Congress an intelligence report that raises serious questions about China’s role in the 2020 election. According to the report, Chinese operatives mass-produced counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses as part of a broader scheme to flood the system with fake mail-in ballots—benefiting… you guessed it… Joe Biden.
This wasn’t just foreign meddling—it was industrial-scale fraud, enabled by a broken mail-in voting system the Democrats have long been exploiting. The report confirms what many of us suspected all along: the integrity of the 2020 election wasn’t just compromised—it was hijacked.

There’s been a new, disturbing development in the case of the Chinese plot to interfere in the 2020 election. (snip) According to the recall notice, intelligence agencies weren’t just asked to disregard the report — they were ordered to “destroy all copies” and “remove the original report from all computer holdings.” This wasn’t routine bureaucratic cleanup. It was a deliberate effort to wipe damning evidence from existence. The FBI didn’t just bury credible intelligence about Chinese election interference; it tried to scrub it from history.

As conservatives, we have a sort of love/hate relationship with "The View." For as long as it has been on the air, we are constantly baffled at how it stays on the air, and who would actually use minutes of their life to go sit in the studio audience, much less watch it at home. However, the truth is that the hopelessly uninformed, vapid gals of "The View" provide some of the best nonsensical content around. Their latest guest to once again put their collective idiocy on display is former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. [Tweet, video]

Rapper Lizzo jumped to her social media to misquote a Florida county sheriff who warned protesters that if they break laws while protesting, they will face serious consequences, and maybe even death.
Last week, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey warned protesters not to block local roads with their protests because drivers might run them over. He also predicted that if protesters throw bricks or bottles or point guns at police officers, the department will “kill you graveyard dead.”
But Lizzo did not grasp the sheriff’s message, and instead claimed that Ivey was saying that he would “kill anyone who exercises their First Amendment right to protest,”

Great presentation of the arguments for letting Israel finish the job in Iran.
