Rips Apart the 'Dem Brand' As Part of

Democrats continue to implode, and now there's one Democrat who is calling them out. On Sunday, on CNN's "State of the Union," Jake Tapper spoke with Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Co), who is retiring to run for governor. Tapper said that given Bennet was doing it in part because of his frustration with Congress and "frankly, with Democratic leadership," and "given the Democratic Party's record low popularity now," does the Democratic brand help him or hurt him? Wow, Tapper went there. Bennet's response was not good for the Democrats. “I don’t think nationally the Democratic brand helps very much anyway...anywhere,” Bennet replied. Oof, so true.

So the dems are useless and Trump is chaotic. A somewhat accurate assessment. But the problem is, Trump is chaotic for a purpose. The Left has made a mess of the country and cleaning it up is a hard and dirty job that, yes, requires a little chaos to straighten things out. It is creative chaos with a purpose. So the dems, and most of the Left, ARE useless now because they have been exposed and all they can seem to do is whine about it. But about half of the dems are also chaotic. They are advocating violence to accomplish their ends and policies that have proven to be utter failures. Theirs is chaos without any purpose beeyond that of winning an election, something they also failed at. So Bennet offers the typical, "Not Trump" but has little to offer in exchange for it. And Trump has had successes. The border invasion has been shut off. Inflation in dropping. Promised business investments in the US are in the trillions. The tariff war is being won, one country at a time. So what is Bennet bringing to the table except sour grapes and a desperate attempt to find something, anything that he can use as leverage against Trump. He has nothing, another useless dem trying to hang on by his fingernails and furious at the devastation that Trump has caused in Bennet's nice little leftist world that has suffered the most from Trump's "chaos", and justly so. Bennet's misery over it is just the cherry on top, a necessary victim of their own evil.

Another swamp creature. Rather than retire to a nice home in Colorado he’s going to “retire” to run for another taxpayer funded office. I despise these leeches!

Democrats are using their party's incompetence to gain traction in their own election campaigns? One wonders why they remained members of the party while the dysfunction was always hot and heavy. It could be TDS but having to look up to David Hogg, Kamala and Tampon Tim for direction is something I could not have suffered.

He'll try to say all the right ''common sense'' things until the day after the election. If he wins, he'll slip right back into the 'Rat insane policies. It's what they do.

Bennet isn’t just as bad as every Democrap pol in Denver: he’s worse. He was plucked out of obscurity and appointed a Senator by a Dem governor. He was formerly the head of the Denver public schools. He’s done nothing in three terms in the Senate, except to get re-elected. He only shows up in Colorado to run for office again, or for photo ops with our homosexual governor (they want to switch places next year - Bennet in the statehouse and Polis in the Senate). He’s as useless as teats on a bull, but since Denver and Boulder voters are idiots, he’ll probably be elescted.

This is not the thread to bring this up but I have to ask for a little help. I was in Boulder Co for graduation recently. I was following my daughter around in a grocery store. She pulled out an EBT card saying she had money on it and needed to clean it out. I said an EBT card? For a full time student? She said everyone has them. The university of Boulder automatically applies for each student. One doesn't have put in a bit of effort to get them! This has been bothering me for months. Can a person in medical school get a EBT card? How about an MBA program? Masters in engineering? The question is this important in the big world out there, and if so, how does one get through to someone who could open this can of worms? Ted

Musk said, “So, you know, I was like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not decrease it and undermines the work the DOGE team is doing.” Correspondent David Pogue said, “I actually thought that when this big beautiful bill came along, I mean, like, everything he’s done on DOGE gets wiped out in the first year.”

Remember how Democrats were flipping out in April and telling us that President Donald Trump injecting tariffs into this trade equation was going to destroy the world? Well, maybe not that far, but you understand. Everything would go to heck in a handbasket, and the economy would tank. But Democrats are going to be downcast at the latest news; their narrative is falling to pieces. Not only are we not seeing destruction, the economy is doing well, and now, consumer confidence is soaring, as Beege Welborn at our sister site Hot Air is reporting. Analysts had cautiously predicted May's consumer confidence number to come in at 86,

For more than a decade, the Democratic Party operated like a palace, ruled not by consensus but by decree. Its monarchs were familiar: President Barack Obama with his golden tongue and cool detachment, Nancy Pelosi with her iron gavel, and a press corps that never met a Democrat it couldn’t describe as “historic.” Together, they built something. Not a movement but an illusion. Now, in the wake of President Joe Biden’s implosion and Donald Trump’s return to the White House, the spell has broken. What was once ironclad unity has dissolved into whispered recriminations, panicked donor calls, and a leadership vacuum the size of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Last week we learned that Elias Rodriguez, the man who murdered two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, DC, had left behind a manifesto in which he justified the use of violence. Here's a bit of it. The impunity that representatives of our government feel at abetting this slaughter should be revealed as an illusion, then... A perpetrator may then be a loving parent, a filial child, a generous and charitable friend, an amiable stranger, capable of moral strength at times when it suits him and sometimes even when it does not, and yet be a monster all the same. Humanity doesn't exempt one from accountability.

The Trump administration is weighing requiring all foreign students applying to study in the United States to undergo social media vetting — a significant expansion of previous such efforts, according to a cable obtained by POLITICO. In preparation for such required vetting, the administration is ordering U.S. Embassies and consular sections to pause scheduling new interviews for such student visa applicants, according to the cable, dated Tuesday and signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio. If the administration carries out the plan, it could severely slow down student visa processing. It also could hurt many universities who rely heavily on foreign students to boost their financial coffers.

A copy of the letter was shared with The Hill by a source familiar with the matter. Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government could lose nearly 60% of its student body if the Trump administration’s attempted ban on international enrollment, temporarily blocked by a judge, takes effect. As at many Harvard schools, campus life at the Kennedy School has been hijacked by anti-Israel activists. Last week, a federal judge blocked President Donald Trump from denying Harvard the ability to enroll students on foreign visas. But the administration made clear it intends to stop Harvard from being able to enroll foreigners if it continues to defy the president’s demands that it fight antisemitism and reform its “woke” curriculum and administrative practices. Although RedState reported literally for years that Joe was a shell of his former self—and his former self wasn’t all that great to begin with—the Biden administration along with their corrupt cohorts in the mainstream media lied,
