Federal judges have recently halted a number of President Donald Trump’s executive orders and White House initiatives, setting off a firestorm of debate over how far judges’ power should go. As it turns out, most Americans of virtually all political persuasions think that judges should have the power to delay a president’s moves, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows.
In its April 30-May 2 national online poll of 1,400 voters, I&I/TIPP posed the following statement and question: “Federal district judges are appointed by the president, confirmed by the Senate, and serve lifetime terms. There are currently 677 such judges in the U.S.

Constitutionally, the judiciary has no authority to block any executive action, especially on a national level. What’s the point of having a President if any federal judge can block any action that he wants to take. This completely contravenes the separation of powers embedded in the US Constitution.
It’s pure lawfare writ large.

once again I&i shows it’s bias ( to make up for finally bouncing on the ghost of ole joe ?) How are the non documented “voters” selected? Those who answer a random call tend to be home , with spare time and always truthful ? What questions? Skewed like their gaslight headline ? How many respondents know OUR Constitution with it’s separation of powers . The lawfare garbage of sore roses and his ilk continues apace . Doesn’t matter “fweelings “ The Constitution matters more .

I suspect the polling question did not fully explain facts like constitutional separation of powers, judge shopping by political partisans, national injunctions by local judges, etc. etc.

Nothing in Article III says any Judge can block the Presidential Actions, PERIOD.
Nothing in the entire Constitution or the Millions of Federal Laws says the Judges have this power, DONE!
All Trump has to do to shut down this madness is declare a National Emergency (Judges CANNOT OVERRULE THAT!), and do whatever is necessary.
On top of that who gave Citizens Rights to these Illegals???????????? NO ONE!

An online poll? How many Democrats were told to go to this poll and vote for Judges over ruling the President? I never heard that poll was in place so I couldn't vote against that.

Since at least 1803 the Federal judiciary has taken upon itself the role of determining "what the law is." To me, that is an appropriate role for the entire Supreme Court, as a "coequal" with the executive and legislative branches and as part of the checks and balances under the Constitution. However, nationwide injunctions by a District Judge seem to exceed the scope of judicial review by a local Court and exceed a trial court's Constitutional authority. I wonder what the Supreme Court is going to say..

Article Three Judges draw their very existence from the Legislative Branch, not the Constitution, per se, and certainly not from the Supreme Court. Congress could, through a simple majority vote in both houses, eliminate any or all Federal District Courts. There would be NOTHING the Supreme Court could do to stop them either. The Congress could also vote to Impeach and Remove a sitting President, but the political ramifications from doing so to a popular POTUS would prove career limiting to them all. The only inviolable power in the Constitution is the power of, “We the People,” and our, “unalienable rights,” and as a last resort, we have our Second Amendment employable in throwing off our bloody tyrants. The Second Amendment maintains the National sanity in a highly political environment, not any politician or political party.

This is I&I/TIPP: Might as well be the AP, when it comes to American politics. Liberals do what Liberals do best. 1. They lie. 2. They accept only the Narrative they want to be true. 3. In popularity reports, they carefully control who answers their questions, or discard answers they don't like.
They are an echo chamber of Liberal desires.

Did you read the article? The ONLINE poll of 1400 VOTERS came up with the basis for that clickbait baseless headline.
FTA:
Democrats are most supportive, with 71% saying the support the judges, just 14% saying they oppose them. Among independents, that majority falls to 54% support, and rises to 30% opposition. The surprise comes among Republicans, where a plurality of 48% support judges over presidents, while 40% support it.
How did TIPP verify that poll participants were even voters? They didn't.

In fairness to 2, not a few of PDJT's orders have overstepped his Constitutional authority.
But it seems to me the district level judge is too low ranking to override top-level authority like a President.

A lot of the people they polled are low information on the issue of national injunctions over executive orders and how it's a political game, I assume. The 2 to 1 is also fueled by 71% of Democrats who are hate Trump voters who would poll differently if Biden was president.

I say NO! If the Judges in Every State can overturn the President of the United States, what is the reason we should even have a President? We should have a PRESIDENT OF THE STATE and forget about having one for the Whole Country! Sound silly? It is! So, I think Trump should ignore everyone, go by the Constitution and forget everyone else (including the Worthless Supreme Court Judges)! Lets get on with running the Country and kick the rest of this nonsense to the Curb! It's time!

Another poll telling us what to think. More important question: Does the government listen to us? Do you think these judges care what we think? They only listen to the people that line their pockets. If they are activist judges, they only listen to 'elites' with the same ideology.

Which again demonstrates the genius of the founders, who understood that "the people" in a democracy are often misinformed or manipulated by passions to enact harmful policies. The US Constitution was crafted to avoid this kind of democratic tyranny.

677 Federal District Judges + 1 President = Confusion. If judges can overrule something that a President does based on their ideology (as we have been seeing a lot this year), we have 678 Presidents and a schizophrenic system of government. Any time an activist group does not like something, they will judge shop and file a lawsuit in a favorable judicial district in hopes of getting a national injunction against the 1 elected Presidents actions. They might file in several Districts hoping to get the same results and stop the President's agenda or slow it down while the appeals process plays out. Does this sound familiar? This is what is going on now. It needs to be corrected ASAP. It is an abuse of the judiciary system by liberals, activists, and the anti-Trump left.

In principle I would say yes. However, what's happening now is not judicial review but something else.
Let's be honest, if every Biden EO or policy was shut down because of an injunction, we would all be cheering.
We have to get the judiciary under control. But that can't happen without some democrats crossing over. And that won't happen unless the judiciary shuts down their agenda.
