Welcome back to another tour of the craziness that is progressive Christianity. Sometimes, I approach these columns with a theme in mind, but that wasn’t my plan this week. It wasn’t until I finished compiling these examples that I realized that there was a theme, and it’s that progressive churches will preach anything but the gospel. Let’s start with a doozy. My friend and colleague Sarah Anderson sent me a post on X featuring a woman pastor (shocker) with sort of a mohawk (bonus) spouting a bunch of left-wing clichés that start with “I’m a pastor…” I'm a pastor. Should Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz ever reach the big-boy seat in the Oval Office, he should probably invest in a better nickname, because his current one doesn’t exactly convey an inspirational sense of wisdom, majesty, courage, or purpose.
I looked it up: There were roughly 300 news articles — from mainstream, legitimate news outlets — that referred to Tim Walz as “Tampon Tim.”
Those outlets included NPR, Time Magazine, CBS News, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, MSNBC, People Magazine, Bloomberg, The Daily Beast, HuffPost, The Washington Post, USA Today, TMZ,
In his four years in office, Joe Biden pardoned or granted clemency to more than 8,000 criminals, including his own son, four times more than Barack Obama (1,927), who was in office for eight years.
Republicans raised questions about Biden's extensive reliance on the executive autopen to sign all those pardons and acts of clemency. Indeed, it would seem to be a non-issue. All presidents have used an autopen for official and unofficial business, so what's the big deal?

Axios has obtained recordings of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s October 8, 2023 interview of President Biden in the Biden version of the documents case. You will not be surprised to see that in the 2024 election, the islanders went for the Democrat by a 67-31 margin, an even wider Democratic advantage than seen in the rest of the Commonwealth.

After years of cheering the ignoring of the law by Joe Biden – student loans, immigration, etc. – Democrats are now insisting that to enforce the law is to somehow break it…as long as it is being enforced against them. Not to get too hyperbolic, but this is how the Nazis acted, this is how the Taliban acted, of which the modern “progressive” Democrat Party are the direct descendants. Insisting they are above the law makes them the most dangerous political force in the country, if not the planet. They need to be held accountable.

You may be thinking, what a perfect title for a book seeking to vindicate Alger Hiss! Or you may be thinking, that’s not a journey I am ever going to take in this lifetime! Or you may be thinking, you have got to be kidding me!
Professor Harvey Klehr is the preeminent historian of American Communism. He has read Kisseloff’s book so that we don’t have to. In the current issue of Commentary he reviews it in “The big Kisseloff.” Thank you, Professor Klehr.
California governor and self-appointed heir apparent to the Democratic presidential nomination, Gavin Newsom, just moved so far to the right that he risks impeachment by his state's Democrat-dominated Assembly.
That's a joke, obviously. Democrats never impeach their own, even after they become liabilities; they just exile them to the political wilderness. The CNN host spent Tuesday hawking his upcoming book on X, which promises readers an inside look at the Biden administration’s efforts to hide the Delaware Democrat’s “health issues” — efforts the media were more than happy to participate in. “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” Abraham Lincoln spoke those words in 1858, not as a metaphor, but as a warning.
The country was tearing along seams of ideology and morality. Lincoln saw it. He feared America could not endure as both a slave state and a free one. He was right.
But even then, Lincoln hoped the Union would stand. He didn’t root for secession or sabotage. He didn’t pray for Southern crops to fail or cities to burn to make his case. He confronted the moment of agony and clarity, defending a flawed system while preparing to save it from itself.
That’s what leadership once looked like.
Now, fast-forward 165 years.
Commissioner Robert D. Manfred Jr. today issued a policy decision regarding the status of individuals who have passed away while on the permanently ineligible list. This issue has never been formally addressed by Major League Baseball, but an application filed by the family of Pete Rose has made it incumbent upon the Office of the Commissioner to reach a policy decision on this unprecedented issue in the modern era as Mr. Rose is the first person banned after the tenure of Commissioner Kenesaw Mountain Landis to die while still on the ineligible list.

The video is titled “These Yale Professors Study Fascism.” All three professors are going permanently to Canada to teach at the University of Toronto.

In July 1999, Hillary Clinton’s senate rival and front-runner for NY senate seat John F. Kennedy Jr. died in a plane crash.
Mary Mahoney was a Clinton White House intern who could have been a star witness at the Clinton impeachment trials.

In 2023 The Gateway Pundit published the shocking story of Chris and In Annette Kuehne.
Chris Kuehne is a 22-year veteran who received numerous medals and awards, including the Purple Heart, a Navy Commendation Medal with Valor, and a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Valor for actions in combat.
On January 6, 2021, Chris went inside the Capitol but did not cause any harm or damage – in fact he cleaned trash off the floor, helped to stop theft of government property, asked people to leave the building, and went up to Capitol Police Officers to ask how he could help.

The entitled baristas at Starbucks have found yet another reason to whine about their jobs. Over 2,000 workers decided to walk off their jobs this week, and the reason is completely absurd.
So what is the coffee giant's egregious offense? Implementing a dress code that requires employees to wear solid black shirts and khaki, black, or blue denim pants. The big news from yesterday and today is that the tapes of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with Joe Biden about unsecured classified documents in Biden’s garage became public. They showed a man who was obviously in the grips of senile dementia and who therefore had no business running anything, let alone the world’s most powerful country, one armed with nuclear weapons.

At first blush the question seems curious, but when you further think about it the question becomes rather important. If Joe Biden was not cognitively aware of what was happening around the office of the president, then who exactly was controlling the use of his signature via the auto-pen?
