It’s becoming pretty clear that Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., desperately wants voters to forget his role in helping sink Ed Martin’s nomination to serve as U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia.
Throughout the past week, the Tarheel State’s senior senator — who is up for reelection next year — has posted a series of tweets seemingly aimed at portraying himself as a reliable ally of President Trump and his administration. From lavishing praise on Trump’s Middle East trip and “Golden Age” presidency to lauding the law enforcement efforts of Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, the apparent rear-smooching campaign has been nothing short of pathetic.

Former FBI Director James Comey appeared to call for the assassination of President Donald Trump in a social media post Thursday, but his outburst is just one in a long line of far-left lunatics whose extreme rhetoric has laid the groundwork for violence — and assassination attempts — against conservative political figures.
The social media featured a seashell arrangement of the numbers “8647” — a clear reference to the numbers “86” meaning “to get rid of,” and “47,” the presidency number of Trump’s second term in office. The Trump administration said it was taking the threat seriously,

FBI Director Kash Patel announced Friday that the bureau is leaving its longtime DC headquarters in the J. Edgar Hoover Building and transferring 1,500 employees to locations around the country.
“This FBI is leaving the [J. Edgar] Hoover Building because this building is unsafe for our workforce,” Patel told Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo in an interview set to air on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “We want the American men and women to know if you’re going to come work at the premier law enforcement agency in the world, we’re going to give you a building that’s commensurate with that, and that’s not this place,”

Fox News' chief political anchor, Bret Baier, called out members of the media and said that America just "didn't trust" what they were being told as one of the reasons for President Donald Trump's victory. During Baier's interview for Politico's Deep Dive podcast, the host of "Special Report with Bret Baier" was asked about Trump's reelection and "who's to blame for the lack of trust in the media, for the loss of trust in the media."
"Well, the media. I mean, we went after collectively, and I say broadly, stories that didn't pan out and went overboard on covering some of it," Baier said.

If you listened to Ed Martin naming the people within the lawfare community of DC operatives who are actively working to weaponize the legal system to block and attack reform efforts within the DOJ, then you likely understand the origin of these latest maneuvers. Outgoing USAO Ed Martin, and current head of the DOJ ‘weaponization working group’ has revealed that Lawfare operators have filed ethics complaints in an effort to challenge his legal license. This is what happens when the U.S. Attorney General, Pam Bondi, doesn’t face down the internal lawfare operation within Main Justice severely enough.

In 1988, Donald Trump appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and warned that unfair and unfree trade was damaging the domestic economy and particularly decimating the working class. Back then, Trump’s main concern was Japan, which was experiencing an “economic miracle” based on a huge increase in imports of cars, electronics, and other goods to the United States. Today, the United States faces an economic foe that makes the threat posed by 1980s Japan look miniscule. The sudden and spectacular rise of China, especially since it was allowed to join the World Trade Organization in 2001,

New York business groups are blasting Attorney General Tish James for a pro-consumer push that they fear would be a legislative misfire — boosting greedy lawyers and unleashing “legal shakedowns.”
James’ FAIR Business Practices Act looks to tighten up consumer protections to crack down on shady crimes like deed theft, junk fees and hard-to-cancel subscriptions, but critics said it will open up small businesses to frivolous lawsuits and legal threats.
“The so-called FAIR Act would be anything but fair to New York’s business community, especially Main Street businesses,” said Tom Stebbins, executive director of the Lawsuit Reform Alliance of NY.

On Sunday it was reported that President Donald Trump accepted an Qatar’s offer of a jumbo jet to serve temporarily as Air Force One after Boeing failed to deliver the long-promised replacement aircraft. But the real story here is that Boeing, the Department of Defense’s premier contractor, has been delayed years on a project vital to national security.
“We’re very disappointed that it’s taking Boeing so long to build a new Air Force One,” Trump said on Monday morning during a press conference. “You know, we have an Air Force One that’s 40 years old. And if you take a look at that, compared to the new plane of the equivalent,

In just two years, a former Southern California educator has taken a steep fall from “teacher of the year” to a 30-years-to-life prison term for sexually abusing two of her sixth-grade students.
A Chula Vista Superior Court Judge in San Diego County Friday sentenced Jacqueline Ma, 36, to the prison term after she pleaded guilty in February to two counts of forcible lewd acts on a child, one count of lewd acts on a child, and one count of possessing child sexual abuse material. Only two years ago, Ma was being featured on local television explaining “how she connects with distracted students.”

A second Maine school district has voted to revoke its pro-transgender policies in defiance of Democrat Gov. Janet Mills.
The state’s Regional School Unit (RSU) 24 school board voted on Tuesday to join the Hodgdon School Board in scrapping its transgender policies, which included allowing students to use bathrooms and facilities based on a created “gender identity” rather than biological reality, the Maine Wire reported. In a 7-1 vote RSU 24 voted to rescind its previous transgender policy (pictured here) which also included recognizing the student’s identity even in defiance of the parent’s wishes. I applaud and support the Board’s courage and action on this matter,”

Voting is underway to elect the President of the United Federation of Teachers in New York City. Michael Mulgrew, who has held the position since 2009, is expecting he can sleepwalk into another term.
However, under his watch schools are requiring less and less of pupils, to the point where attendance is essentially optional and almost everyone is handed a passing grade.
Brooklyn-based Social Studies teacher Mike Dowd writes why it’s time for a change and for basic discipline to be brought back.
Officials love to brag about the 84% graduation rate for New York City public-school students.

In 2014, Marine veteran J.J. Hanson was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and given four months left to live. Around the four-month mark of his diagnosis, “Hanson had plunged into a deep depression,” according to the Times Union. He lost his ability to read, write, talk and walk and was suffering seizures.
Miraculously, experimental treatment and surgery gave Hanson an additional three years of life, during which he and his wife welcomed two sons. But had Hanson have had access to lethal prescriptions to end his own life during those first few months — he may have taken them, so says his wife Kristen.
