New Jersey rocker Bruce Springsteen, who campaigned for Kamala Harris in 2024 and for every Democrat presidential nominee since John Kerry, had an epic show-long meltdown at the opening concert for his European tour in Manchester, England, Wednesday night over President Donald Trump’s triumphant return to the presidency.
Springsteen called Trump and his administration, “corrupt, incompetent and treasonous,” and an “unfit president and a rogue government,” among many criticisms.
Not a word by Springsteen about Trump working to bring good paying blue collar jobs back to America for the people whom Springsteen has made a career out of channeling their economic woes,

Brucey long ago lost touch with his Jersey roots. His net worth over a Billion dollars has blinded him to the needs of real working folks and the betrrayals by the DimoTwit Party that have been true for all his own life.

It's interesting how all the old hippies, that protested Viet-Nam veterans as baby killers when we returned in the 60's and 70's now belong to the party of baby-killers and protest for protection of killers of innocents and rapists. They can all go to Hades, as far as I'm concerned.

Beyond the basic unpleasantness of an entertainer inflicting this on a paying audience, there is this: It's tasteless in the extreme to bad mouth your own country while visiting another.
And it's beyond childish to disavow an election just because your side lost. Science fiction author Robert Heinlein was once given a chance to denounce President Lyndon Johnson (whom he likely loathed). Heinlein refused to take the bait, saying "I participated in the election of President Johnson by voting against him."

I'm not a believer in burning books, so I won't burn Bruce's LPs and CDs that I bought many moons ago. Sunk cost now. All of them stay in their sleeves and jewel boxes. I also change the station when one of his songs comes on the radio when I'm driving. Perhaps someday in the future I might be able to stand listening to Bruce again. But I have no use for lectures from a guy who knows nothing about which he opines on stage, and I'll bet even his concert-goers in Europe don't like having their time wasted on that... though those inculcated in anti-Americanism might find it entertaining. He has compared himself to Woodie Guthrie in the past. Sorry, Bruce, but Guthrie was a blood-red commie and he died broke... so you have a long road ahead to get to his vaunted status...

While in the UK, you can visit your fellow America hating ex-pats Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O'Donnell at their new homes. Maybe they can help you find a new estate there. If you find life in the US so distasteful that you feel that you need to say how bad it is while overseas (but are too cowardly to do it while home), move! Great thing about the USA is that nobody is making you stay here.

What a naïve clueless fool of a man. Sounds exactly like DeNiro, come to think of it. Both of them live in social circles full of enablers and yes-men who repeat back whatever they think their 'benefactor' likes to hear. Reminds me of Chris Tucker's character Ruby Rhod in The Fifth Elementand his entourage of brown nosers. Bruce, you started out as a slob from New Jersey singing for the common man. You wouldn't know a common man now if your life depended on it, and common men see a hero in Donald Trump.

That's okay. The unintelligible Bruce believes he is still relevant. Most of his fans are over-60 men who are losing their hearing and (like Bruce) never could carry a tune.

He and his whole freakin band are pieces of human trash. All anti American bigots. Hypocrites with no morals, values or soul. All suffering from TDS while Trump is actually helping all Americans. Think about it, what has a democrat ever done that benefits the American people. Nothing, nadda, zippo.

I received my undergraduate degree from a state school in a state that neighbors NJ. Because the only "state" school in NJ is Rutgers -- and it's located in a rough neighborhood -- many New Jersey parents instead send their kids to schools in nearby states. In the early 1980s, those of us who were residents of the neighboring state developed a pejorative riff on NJ students, borrowing and adapting lyrics from a tune by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The riff went: "Ooo ooh that smell -- that smell of New Jersey's around you!" It worked well then as a smackdown of "Jersey" students who used to give off attitude about how great NJ was while conveniently overlooking the location of their feet.
It applies equally well to Bruce today... though with NJ set to flip blue with a little more prodding from Scott Presler, one has to wonder where Bruce will go.... Martha's Vineyard, perhaps? Canada? Maybe he can buy the castle adjacent to Ellen and they can be neighbors. And if we're lucky, he will confine his summer tours to European cities only. Bye, Bruce -- we won't miss you, and we know that most of the talent in the E Street Band came from Clarence and Little Stevie, anyway....

Johnny Ramone closed his acceptance speech at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 by saying God bless President George W Bush and the USA. He knew then that the 'rebels' in Rock and Roll were boot licking toadies to the commie left, and it only got worse after that.
