Democratic Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman’s popularity is underwater among Democratic voters in his state according to an internal poll. The poll was performed from Feb. 6 to 11 — three months before New York Magazine released an article reporting that staff and other sources close to the senator worry for his physical and mental health, which Fetterman has since called a “one-source hit piece.” With the poll arriving on the heels of the story, Democrats have “begun looking into rules” regarding the senator’s potential resignation and are “whispering about potential replacements,” according to Politico, who first reported the poll.

It's amazing that when he was running everyone saw he was a drooling idiot who wasn't fit to hold office, but the media and all his pals insisted he was OK.
Now that he's somewhat recovered, and saying things that go against the leftist narrative, they insist he's a drooling idiot who isn't fit to hold office.

If the tapioca pudding brained FJB didn't bother them then why does Fetterman? He and I actually agree on more than one issue. I guess he is just too much of an old school democrat for them. These guys are seriously anal.

AOC, Maxine Waters, Jasmine Crocket, everyone else in the Squad: dumb as bricks, hate America, say crazy stuff every day, heroes of the Left.
Fetterman: recovered from stroke, moderate democrat, supports Israel, does not support crazy far left agenda, must be mentally ill and has to go.
Joe Biden: this is the sharpest, smartest, most energetic Joe I've ever seen
Kamala: brilliant, well spoken, smart, did a great job as VP, has great policy plans for the future, defeated by racism, misogyny and voter suppression
Welcome to the insane world view of the extreme left nut house.

How much of this is fake news? Some of it certainly is. These articles aren't reporting public opinion. They are trying to shape it.

Independent thinking is anathema to the left. Everyone must think the way they are told to think 100% of the time; no deviations are ever allowed.

Dems are back-stabbing bullies, who will not tolerate discension. They are not above assassinating a party member who fails to cooperate - JFK being a prime example.
You cannot find an American Political Party that is less American.

I think it was Rush Limbaugh who made the distinction between Plymouth Rock and Jamestown. The first was about Freedom from oppression. The Second, Freedom to steal and enslave.
Lincoln touted the first, Democrats the second. And they still do.

Plenty of time to rehabilitate himself, as long as he steers clear of the truth, which I guess is the problem is having.

In a just world Fetterman's polls would be "underwater" for the 99.5% of the time he supports his party's far left agenda ("gender affirming" treatment for minors, no deportations and voting rights for illegals for starters) and bot for the .5% of the time he makes sense.

He's the least radical of the crazy party, but he's still too far left for me. I'm in Louisiana, so I have no say in his fate anyway. Plus, I have to hope my state can find a conservative republican to oppose the Mary Landrieuish Bill Cassidy, a RINO's RINO!

Maybe John Thune should find out if Fetterman is a free agent. If so, what would it take to sign him? A committee chairmanship and major GOP endorsements in the primary? In exchange, he would need to support the GOP caucus when critical.
