Sens. John Cornyn (R-TX) and John Kennedy (R-LA) introduced a bill that would allow those who possess concealed carry licenses in their states to carry firearms in all 50 states. If passed, the bill could be a massive victory for Second Amendment rights, which have been under attack in blue states after the Supreme Court’s ruling in New York Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen. Kennedy said the bill “would affirm Americans’ fundamental liberties while respecting every state’s right to make their own laws,” in a press release. Cornyn noted that the proposed legislation “would reduce unnecessary burdens for law-abiding citizens and allow them to carry

This would be a good thing and a long time coming. As it is I have to sneak through the communist states if I cant easily avoid them. That means staying on the interstate, no gas, food or motel stops and just punching through. It can be a long drive.

John Cornyn is a RINO rat who spends the first 4 years of every term in the Senate being a sewer-dwelling Republi-Can't who is the king of Republi-Can'ts. He acts like he wants to make the Demon-Rats like him more than he wants to serve his constituents back in Texas. Then he suddenly tries to pretend he is a conservative the last 2 years of any term. Guess what -- he is up for re-election in 2026!!!!! While I truly hope this passes (though we shouldn't need permits to practice our 2nd Amendments rights anywhere in the USA), I pray that some solid conservative will primary him in 2026 and end this nightmare!!!

Post #1, I too, sneak across the border, have been doing it for over 40 years, mainly because I was attacked on a bridge from Boston to NH by a man with a knife, the man was arrested and had to pay for the damage he did to my car. But 6 months later, I was attacked in a parking garage in NH and it was reported to the police. Calling the police for a follow-up three days later, they said that the guy had a bad day at work (he hit my car 3 times, pushing it forward) and he was going to apologize. I said "How can he apologize, it was a hit and run?" The Sargent told me that they gave him my name, address, and telephone number. I screamed into the phone saying that this man was deranged and insane. The Sargent told me to not get so excited, so when I asked for this man's name, address and phone number, he refused. I then told the Sargent that I was attacked in Boston and the man had to pay damage, but it went through the court and the guy never found out my name. The Sargent finally gave me the info on the man and I immediately went to my local police to get a concealed permit. The Chief was upset and called the FBI, two days later he came to my house with the permit. He said that the FBI looked him up and wanted me to carry right away, that this was a bad dude. Needless to say, the man never contact me. But a couple of years later, a woman was killed in that same garage and the person has never been found. I called the police and told to check this person out...nothing came of it. I carry and no one will take it away from me.

I already assume this right. Protection of oneself and family is a God-given right and no amount of government blather is going to change that. With millions of new criminals in the country and a substantial number of home-grown criminals on the streets before the government-sanctioned illegal invasion, it would be foolish to think that safety is guaranteed anywhere.

A glance across America and Europe leads to an unmistakable conclusion: Revolution is in the air. The failures of democracies are sparking internal upheavals. Thankfully, spasms of violence and bloodshed are few, but a toxic brew of overbearing governments, shrinking freedoms and undeniable decline is producing demands for big changes. A common thread from California to Great Britain, France and Germany is that liberal underpinnings have morphed into sloppy socialism, unchecked immigration, cultural clashes and restraints on critical speech. Collectively, the conservative blowback reveals that the time allotted for an indulgent detour has expired and a new consensus is taking shape, whether entrenched leftists like it or not.

With just days away from being outgoing President Joe Biden’s last week in office, critics argue that this decision, which effectively shields hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens from deportation, signals an alarming disregard for the rule of law and sets a dangerous precedent for future immigration enforcement. With the U.S. southern border already overwhelmed by record numbers of illegal crossings,
