WASHINGTON — President Biden is moving to ban new offshore oil and gas drilling in most U.S. coastal waters, a last-minute effort to block possible action by the incoming Trump administration to expand offshore drilling.
Biden, whose term expires in two weeks, said he is using authority under the federal Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to protect offshore areas along the East and West coasts, the eastern Gulf of Mexico and portions of Alaska’s Northern Bering Sea from future oil and natural gas leasing.
“My decision reflects what coastal communities, businesses and beachgoers have known for a long time: that drilling off these coasts could cause irreversible damage

The “unity” President really hates America and its citizens. High oil prices? He doesn’t care. The greenies own him and his ilk. He gives billions to climate goons and you know darn well some of those $$$ find their way back to Joseph Robinette and big dem donors. Unity my Aunt Fanny. He’s a divider. And he’s mean and hateful.

He and his minions aim to put as much hurt on the American people as possible, on their way out the door. We will have a long memory and all those Dems or Indies who support any of this crap will pay for it eventually.

They are counting on a corrupt, complicit judiciary to prevent/delay President Trump’s rightful ability to overturn these actions.

The only thing that the Left is going to get out of this is media talking points. When Trump boots out Biden's diktats, the media will go nuts asserting Leftist taking points, reinforced by the Biden's last minute ban.
All the Biden administration's last minute actions are targeted to this same purpose. For every step Trump takes, they intend to bury him in as much negative press as they can. Dems will echo them. It will be all lies all the time but human nature tends to believe that if you are being hit with all this stuff, maybe some of it is true. People simply stop discriminating because they are overwhelmed.
The media, dems, NGOs, etc. know this. They are setting up a massive negative PR campaign HOPING that while it didn't work before the election because Trump hadn't actually done anything yet, once he IS President, attacking his actual actions will get more traction. It's the last desperate thing the Left can do. If they fail, it will be their death knell, and with half of CNN & MSNBC's anemic audience lost since the election, you have to ask, "Who is left that is listening to them anyway?".

On Day One, Minute One, Trump should open up full-scale oil leasing off Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

EO quadrupling the size of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve....for National Security. The only way to get it filled up affordably will be through energy independence. The path to energy independence is to open up ALL those oil fields and Drill, Baby, Drill! For National Security, natch.

Foolish, temporary paperwork exercise. This will be reversed by Trump without any difficulty. What a waste of time.
