Senator Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) questioned if deporting everyone in the United States illegally was “realistic” Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
Host Kristen Welker said, “Let’s talk about the Republicans’ agenda. When I spoke to President-elect Donald Trump he said his mass deportation plan was his top priority. He wants to deport everyone who is here illegally. Do you support that plan to deport everyone who is here illegally?” Thune said, “Well I think certainly there are categories, people who have committed crimes. There are over a million people that the current administration had targeted

Yes, Johnny-boy it is. But then maybe the Trump DOJ can look into how you might be profiting from them remaining.

Good thing it is not the legislative branches responsibility to faithfully enforce the law. That responsibility falls to the executive branch. So Thune should shut up.
An honorable Congress would have impeached the Biden for failure to faithfully uphold the law…amongst other crimes.

Write the correct laws against these illegals and severely restrict their ability to rent, but a car, open a bank account, etc. And many will self deport.
Otherwise, just keep working on them.

Enforce e-verify and I9 and ask the IRS about the SSN that are shared by 20,000 people.
That'll clean out most of it with self deporting.

Gee, Thune, lets start with the first 10,000 and see how far we can get on the next 990,000 before we decide how effective it can be.
I bet after the first 100,000 it gets more realistic with each one.

Shut up! Thune. You don't have to do the work, so don't worry your corrupt self. Just don't get in the way.

Cut off ALL the freebies they get, cut off and employment possibilities through serious legal pressure on employers and let nature take its course. Plus be out there rounding them up and kicking them out (after a full biometric scan so they aren't ever allowed in again) every day. Watch the numbers drain. Oh, and finish the wall and beef up the BP.

Just watch as some covert liberal establishment Republicans and outright RINOS roll over and join with the leftist and progressive Democrats to grant what will amount to a massive amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, plus then allowing them to bring their foreign family members to the USA as a big part of the upcoming Republican border security bill. Remember that the current immigration laws that Biden and Harris have refused to enforce already make it a removable (deportation) offense for any and all illegal aliens found in the USA.

Thune should just keep his mouth shut regarding this issue. Why even make such a statement like that and sow the seeds of doubt? Congress really has no say so in this issue. It is an Executive Branch responsibility to deport.

Probably wasn't realistic to declare war Japan, either. Half our Pacific fleet was gone & we were in a Depression. Or that lets declare our independence from the UK thing.
Or how about having men walk on the Moon? (Hey, there a job for Kamala; she could be the first woman on the Moon.)

Yes, it is.
You just have to have the will to do it.
Enforce the rules and many will self depots.

So you made your play for the special interest groups that are paying you to say that.
Deportation is not your job. Do your job and let others do theirs.
We're in a new world info wise and you are being watched closely. If you do not promote or if you subtley block the MAGA agenda there will be huge noise and trouble coming your way
Cutesy time is over!
