As RedState previously reported, President Joe Biden decided to drop an unwelcome Christmas surprise on the families of murder victims whose killers were on federal death row by commuting the sentences of 37 of the 40 inmates to life in prison without the possibility of parole. "... guided by my conscience and my experience as a public defender, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Vice President, and now President, I am more convinced than ever that we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level," Biden's said in a statement posted to the White House website Monday.

At the last minute JaBiden will pardon himself and Queen Jill. To be expected. He still has three weeks to continue his fubaring America journey. Then 47 takes over. With help from Elon and Vivek, DOGE will hopefully eliminate 60% of the bureaucrats that run the government. And distribute the remaining 40% to the hinterlands of America.

(sour) Milk of Human Kindness pours out of whomever this power is behind the throne. Only compassion they have is their embrace of moral relativity for the worst of humanity, never for the most fragile & innocent among us. Awaiting our new Independence Day!

I LOVE Bryan Donalds. He is right on the money. Thank goodness he is in Congress. We need honest, smart people running the country instead of the weak idiots who are there now.

It won’t surprise me if it turns out that pardons were and are for sale in the next 3 weeks. Democrats are corrupt and have no respect for the rule of law.

Joe not knowing what he is signing could be the case in a lot more cases spanning all four years of his 'Administration'. But the pardons just affect 37 individuals, and they do not make structural changes like abolishing the Federal Death Penalty. I am concerned with the long term permanent structural changes this cabal snuck in through Joe's dementia and incapacity.

Just makes me wonder why he didn't pardon them all.
What did the 3 he didn't pardon do so bad that he turned them down.?
They all were deserving of execution why not them all?

In better times both Joe Robinette and Robert Hunter would be up on treason charges and waiting for the gallows to be erected in front of the Capitol. Instead he is still vacationing on our money and causing further damage to America.

Joe met with the Marxist Pope who told him to cancel the death penalty. Joe thinks this will make up for a lifetime of lying and corruption. He's wrong.

I would guess the three who didn’t get their sentences commuted couldn’t come up with the money for the big guy.

#6, Dylan Roof killed a bunch of black people in their church so keeping him on death row is pandering to black voters. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev killed a bunch of people in left wing Boston so keeping him on death row is pandering to Massachusetts voters. Robert Bowers killed a bunch of Jews at their synagogue, so leaving him on death row is pandering to Jewish voters and an attempt to cover up Biden’s support for Hamas.

If a person is convicted, wait maybe 5 years for appeals to be kicked out and then put them down...we don't need to be feeding and providing care for them for the rest of their lives...

No doubt Biden has serious dementia. All Biden’s far left wing staff has to do to get Biden to sign executive orders, as examples, is tell Biden that the socialist Pope wants him to keep the borders open to unlimited numbers of Third World origin so-called “irregular migrants” (illegal aliens) so they can get into the USA for a better life; and that by issuing as many death row commutations as possible that he is doing away with the death penalty as the socialist Pope advocates. Notice that as one of the last vacations that Biden is taking while billing himself as about the most devout Catholic in the USA is to visit with the socialist Pope.

What would be the outcome if Joe suddenly "ordered" a nuclear strike on Moscow? Apparently his having a fried brain doesn't cause anybody to question any of his other actions.

If this was truly Biden's conviction, he would have done this on day one when he took office.
Like Trump should pardon J6 prisoners on day one.

WE all know that this act of desperation is to cause trouble for 47...it's the White House cabal making these decisions...not ole clumsy Joe and his complicit wifey...they are in LaCroix now...basking in the sun and next they travel to Italy...all on OUR dime....an economist estimates these trips cost WE the people 1 million a day...WE must not get discouraged and let our guard down...our Independence Day is coming on Jan 20th and they cannot stop it...watch for more contempt for Americans in the next 20 days....

Could it be Jill Biden behind these pardons ala Edith Wilson? (while Woodrow was suffering from a stroke the last year of his presidency?)

Biden may be pretty much out to lunch but the kooky leftists that surround him are not all that far away from what Biden himself thinks. He's always been a low intelligent lefty fruitcake.

Yes, indeed, #10. We just got off of I-70 at GJ after a very long winter-conditions drive from the SW Denver area where our children and grandchildren reside. Now at home with a shot or two of scotch in hand. As always, you see it right, ma'am.
