The Ohio State University (OSU) spends over $13 million on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) staff and hosts a multitude of “radical left-wing” courses and programs, a report released Monday found. The school spent $13.3 million in 2023 on salaries for its 201 DEI employees, which is the equivalent of the cost of tuition for over 1,000 students at OSU, Open The Books found. OSU also highlights gender and sexuality topics in several courses, such as “Sexualities and Citizenship” and “Queer Ecologies.”

Comments:

This is one of the reasons why college costs so much. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.

The federal government under Trump will hopefully stop any federal grants to colleges for DEI. Meanwhile the State of Ohio needs to review exactly how Ohio State is currently being operated, and whether the expectations of the taxpayers of Ohio are being met.

I hate the term non-binary. If you are gay, you are gay. If you are a tomboy and like men then good for you. If you are a man who likes girly things but are straight then fine - you may become the next Ralph Lauren. But you are NOT non-binary. There is no such thing.

Hopefully, the alumni donors will become aware of this and close their checkbooks. It's the only way to get these arrogant fools' attention. They have infested our colleges like vermin. Worse, actually, real vermin are just doing what nature makes them do. Not so with these pusillanimous morons who think they are above and smarter than the rest of us rubes who refuse to think the way they want us to.

You'd think that with 3/4 control of the state House and 2/3 of the state senate, not to mention the governorship, the Ohio GOP would get their premier institute of higher education under control, but no, their priorities seemed to be skewed. Get it together, Ohio, and clean up your swamp.

Hopefully OSU parents are aware of this insanity. It's one of the prime reasons their kids graduate with no discernible skill sets, are becoming unwelcome by HR departments, and are unproductive and entitled when/if they are ultimately hired.

This is what happens when schools become money making concerns rather than sources of wisdom and knowledge. Stupid and/or poorly adjusted egoists hide in academia and twist a noble endeavor into something as ugly as their souls. College campuses were once inspiring but now all too often the atmosphere is destructive and dark. It can’t last. People are sick of spending big money in order to learn to hate and the veneer of intellectual superiority is gone.

(Photo) When asked by a reporter what Trump could take from Carter, Biden flashed a Carter-esque toothy smile while saying “decency” three times and then went on a brief diatribe comparing Carter to Trump. The reporter squeezed the question in as White House press wranglers were trying to shut down Biden and the assembled reporters and end the press availability. The reporter’s question was partially lost in cross talk, “Is there (anything?) President Trump could take from President Carter?” Biden answered:

Democrats are boasting that Jimmy Carter's death could overshadow Donald Trump's upcoming inauguration due to a long upheld tradition. Standard protocol states that all flags should be flown at half mast at federal buildings for 30 days following the death of a former president. Carter, the 39th U.S. President, died at 100 years old on Sunday afternoon, almost two years after entering hospice care and just 22 days before Trump's inauguration on January 20. Outspoken MAGA critics and Democrat voters have quipped that the half mast flags during such a pivotal moment are Carter's parting gift to Trump after their longstanding feud.
