Tech giant Google has been accused of going woke after their new Christmas advert featured a genderfluid beauty influencer. The advertisement for Google Shopping features TikTok and Instagram personality Cyrus Veyssi, 30, searching for skincare products using the Google service. Veyssi, who uses they/he pronouns, appears to be wearing women's clothing as he complains about having dry skin in the ad. [SNIP] Conservative commentator and de-transitioner Oli London posted the video to his X account saying: 'Google launches WOKE Christmas campaign featuring man wearing women’s clothing complaining about his skin.'

I've seen more and more ads lately where the featured actors are of the same race and opposite sex, as are the kids. Those are the businesses I am inclined to go to. The weirdo families get a fat lot of nothing.

How utterly empty-headed must you be to need an "influencer", much less a non-binary one?

Hopefully more conservatives will finally wake up and stop using google! Try the Brave browser instead, and search as if you were on google.....but privately.

Duck duck go search engine works fine. And I second what #5 says: go with Brave Browser. It works as well as Chrome or Firefox, and no ads since it is a Linux program. Its the only browser I use on all my computers now. Good search engine, too. But its the "no pop-up ads" feature that really makes it fantastic!

Good grief, the words they dream up. Reading through Proverbs right now. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. "influencer"? "genderfluid"? "de-transitioner"?

There is something fundamentally grotesque about transgenderism that fashion, clever advertising and browbeating cannot overcome. We live in perilous times and the promotion of a narcissistic man devoting his time and treasure to self-indulgence and frivolity is especially vexing to serious people who view men as protectors.

DM really blew it with that headline. It's not existentially possible for a company to "go woke" when they've been at the heart of woke for years, already. Alphabet, you can Google Facebook Youtube (aka Golf Foxtrot Yankee), as far as I'm concerned.

Hilarious footage captured the moment Jill Biden's holiday cheer was quickly shot down by a child who corrected her Christmas greeting. The First Lady greeted children at the White House on Friday to mark the festive season at the Marine Corps' 'Toys for Tots' event, welcoming military families: 'Hello! How are you? Happy Holidays!' 'Happy Christmas!' a young boy shot back. Jill grinned at the riposte, correcting herself: 'Happy Christmas, yes.' The interaction recalls a culture wars clash that seemingly sparked up during the Obama Administration, as conservatives accuse liberals of watering down the Christian holiday.

Americans, our long national nightmare, the Biden presidency, is almost over. First, we must endure six more weeks of damage that President Joe Biden will inflict on the American people.Biden just gave Hunter, his son who was convicted on gun and tax evasion charges, an expansive 11-year pardon, after repeatedly promising he would not engage in such familial favoritism. Biden’s lies were so egregious that at a recent White House press briefing, CNN reporter MJ Lee asked a very pertinent question, “The next time that the president says he will or won’t do something, why should the American people believe him?”

San Diego County is set to introduce 'radical' new sanctuary laws to avoid cooperation with ICE and other federal immigration authorities. The laws are seen as direct defiance toward Donald Trump and his border czar, Tom Homan, who has singled out San Diego for its massive illegal migrant problems amid plans of mass deportation. However, the San Diego sheriff on Tuesday defied a new policy to limit cooperation. San Diego County supervisors voted to prohibit its sheriff's department from working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on the federal agency's enforcement of civil immigration laws, including those that allow for deportations.

December is here, the election has been over for a month, Trump has picked out his cabinet and California is still counting the votes. And will go on counting them until the Dems win. Considering Trump’s landslide victory, California had a difficult task ahead of it, but it has already managed to flip the seats held by Rep. Mike Garcia, Rep. Michelle Steel and just stole the seat held by Rep. John Duarte. In Duarte’s 13th congressional district, California Dems have taken a month to count a little over 210,000 votes. That’s an impressive achievement considering that the proverbial Florida Man seems able to count the votes on Election night.

The complaint is filed against the Department of Homeland Security and its subagency, USCIS.

Aides of President Joe Biden are debating whether the outgoing Democratic president should issue preemptive pardons for figures President-elect Donald Trump has named as his political enemies. Politico reported Wednesday that among those being discussed for blanket pardons are former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney, Sen.-elect Adam Schiff and Dr. Anthony Fauci. Biden - who has been busy dealing with the fallout from his decision to pardon his son Hunter over gun and tax crimes - hasn't been brought into the discussions yet, the outlet said. White House officials fear that doling out pardons to people who haven't been charged with a crime could suggest impropriety.

"There's always going to be a percentage of the population under any medical treatment that's going to suffer a harm. So, the question in my mind is not, 'do policymakers decide whether one person's life is more valuable than the millions of others who get relief from this treatment?'"

If your third-grader is competing in the 2025 Scripps National Spelling Bee, good news: “W-O-M-Y-N” is now an acceptable spelling of “women.” (What a time to be alive!) In fact, “W-O-M-Y-N” is explicitly listed on the National Spelling Bee’s list of 50 “study words” that’s distributed to third-graders. Nobody knows when spoken language began, but written language developed independently in Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, and Mesoamerica. Presumably, shortly after the emergence of writing, was the emergence of the crotchety, ornery, spinster schoolteacher who’d shame you before the class when you misspelled a word. And now, the proper spelling of women is “W-O-M-Y-N.”
