Let me begin with a phrase I never used to start a story in 45 years as a TV reporter: “I may be wrong.” This entire piece may be wrong, but those 45 years on the air and 2000+ hours as a pilot tell me I’m right. The MSM floods their newscasts with reports of drone-terrified citizens... [Snip] Not everyone closes their curtains...word got out that Mrs. Sushbaum in 7B puts on a great show every night. [Snip] Maybe it is Martians, Russians, Iranians, or Lord knows who. If it is, they sure traveled a long way to see Mrs. Sushbaum in her birthday suit.

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi underwent a successful hip replacement in Germany after sustaining injuries during a trip to Luxembourg, a spokesperson said on Saturday. [Snip] "Speaker Pelosi is grateful to U.S. military staff at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and medical staff at Hospital Kirchberg for their excellent care and kindness. Speaker Pelosi is enjoying the overwhelming outpouring of prayers and well wishes and is ever determined to ensure access to quality health care for all Americans," Krager added. The former speaker was taken by MEDEVAC to Landstuhl, Germany, a Defense official told NBC News, after Pelosi was injured Friday while on an official congressional trip to Luxembourg.

President-elect Donald Trump wants to turn the lights out on daylight saving time. [Snip]
“The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate Daylight Saving Time, which has a small but strong constituency, but shouldn’t! Daylight Saving Time is inconvenient, and very costly to our Nation,” he wrote. [Snip] Some health groups, including the American Medical Association and American Academy of Sleep Medicine, have said that it’s time to do away with time switches and that sticking with standard time aligns better with the sun--and human biology.

I like Elton John. I’ve grown up on and loved his music, and I thought it was just great that he played at Rush Limbaugh’s wedding. Now, I like him even more for stating the truth about marijuana: It’s a dreadful drug. [Snip] Those struggles have made him doubt the wisdom of legal weed. “I maintain that it’s addictive. It leads to other drugs. And when you’re stoned--and I’ve been stoned--you don’t think normally,” he says. “Legalizing marijuana in America and Canada is one of the greatest mistakes of all time.”

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is recovering at a hospital in Luxembourg. [Snip] Ms. Pelosi tripped going down marble stairs at the Grand Ducal Palace and took a hard fall,... [Snip] People close to Ms. Pelosi in California and Washington, D.C., speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak for her, said the former speaker fractured her hip when she fell. They said doctors were confident the damage could be repaired with a routine operation, but it was not yet clear whether that would be done in Luxembourg or in the United States.

Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi said she has appealed to Rome for a decision concerning San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone’s ban on her receiving the Holy Eucharist due to her public support for abortion. [Snip] A 2004 memo to the U.S. bishops from then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, later Pope Benedict XVI, states that “consistently campaigning and voting for permissive abortion and euthanasia laws” requires denial of Communion. [Snip] Pelosi has regularly displayed a lack of basic understanding about the concept of sin. For example, she called pro-life protections for innocent babies “sinful” and claimed that protecting unborn babies is “an assault” on women.

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) flaunted her disobedience to her bishop in an interview on her Catholicism, saying that she always feels “there’s an angel” on her shoulder despite her vehement support for abortion. [Snip] Pelosi...said that she ignored the mandate of her bishop,...to stop receiving communion over her pro-abortion advocacy. [Snip] “I received Communion anyway,”..., adding of Cordileone. “That’s his problem, not mine.” “My Catholic faith is, Christ is my savior,” she added. “It has nothing to do with the bishops.” Later in the interview, she told the publication, “My faith is always with me....”

In Trump’s first term, Jews were declared to be a minority group protected by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. And now, just weeks away from beginning his second term, Trump has laid down the law, in a speech he just gave at a rally against antisemitism in Washington. American universities that fail to combat antisemitism on their campuses should expect severe repercussions, including the loss of accreditation and of federal research contracts. [Snip] He did not say they “may lose” accreditation. Trump said they will lose accreditation, and their share of the billions of dollars in federal support that universities receive.

Yesterday, I walked Loki, our little dog, out of the house in the country where we are spending Thanksgiving. [Snip] I feel the past year’s weight on myself as well....It was a grueling year; the fourth in a series of grueling years, in which every single day we went into battle to fight the forces of a darkness we could never have imagined before 2020. [Snip] This malevolence sought for four years to grab hold of and swallow up every blessing: [Snip] We beat the darkness back with God’s help. At least for now. And that is everything for which we should be thankful today.

Joe Biden promised, emphatically, at least six times--all pre-election--that he would not pardon his son Hunter Biden. [Snip] After November 5, whether Joe or Harris won or lost the 2024 election, he was always going to pardon Hunter, who was always also a relapse away from bringing them all down. [Snip] The schemes to hide Joe Biden’s long-standing dementia,...the lies to protect the Biden crime syndicate, and the final pardon will cement Joe Biden’s reputation not just as the most incompetent but also as the most corrupt and dishonest president in U.S. history.

President Joe Biden didn’t pardon Hunter because he’s a loving father who thinks his drug addict son was treated unfairly by the Justice Department. He pardoned Hunter to help cover up his own crimes, just as he’ll likely pardon other members of his family... He’s trying to protect himself, and this is one of the only ways he has left to do it. [Snip] In the end, the president might keep his son and other family members out of jail with last-minute pardons, but once the truth comes out,...,Biden will likely go down in history as one of the most corrupt presidents in American history.

Many Americans were outraged on Sunday after learning that President Joe Biden had issued a sweeping pardon to his son, Hunter. [Snip] Solomon said, “You can’t bring criminal charges against Hunter Biden, but there’s nothing that prevents the Trump Justice Department from filing a fraud case and seeking civil remedy and taking money from him and other members of the family on allegations that they reported false information. They committed fraud. [Snip] A pardon doesn’t protect you from civil actions.” [Snip] “He no longer will be able to deny or say ‘I don’t want to testify in any proceedings because I invoke my Fifth Amendment right against incrimination.’
