Recent comments from a head marketing director at Jaguar are now drawing attention after the brand launched a polarizing rebrand of the luxury car company this week. [SNIP] "We're on a transformative journey of our own. Driven by a belief in diversity, inclusion, creativity, policy and, most importantly, action. We've established over 15 DEI groups such as Pride, which are here tonight, and Women in Engineering and Neurodiversity Matters," Pietrosanti said.
"We've launched major policy revisions such as transitioning at work to drive equity and support for our communities, embracing individuality as our superpower," he continued.

"Hey, everything is going just fine with the business."
Jaguar, "Hold my Bud-Lite and watch this!".

Jaguar's new slogan:
We use to make cars.

A shift to all-electric cars and now this nonsense will kill their already-declining market base. Expect to see dealerships closing all over next year to where there will be no more in the US and likely anywhere else after their sales completely crater.

Women in Engineering ?
I'll bet the head marketing director can't define a woman. In a few years Jaguar will be unable to define engineering.

Guess he's counting on that large, hidden market of persons who have rearranged their parts to sell his cars. Seems foolhardy to me.

Jaguar's "superpower," is beyond belief. Their best couldn't beat a softball team of elderly Baptist women from the Bible Belt. This post-election progressive militancy and doubling down on the policies Americans soundly rejected a few weeks ago, is quite a hoot.

Why would someone purchase a very high expense automobile to maintain like a Jaguar, when one could buy a proven “rice rocket” at a much more affordable price that is a lot more reliable and much cheaper to maintain.

Pietrosanti, you ever heard of corporate suicide? You're about to find out, pal. But I still like your cars while they are still here.

Pietrosanti, I suggest you polish up your resume. Especially the part about coding skills.

The marketing clown should believe in SALES. And my bet is that this craziness will reduce sales.
Stupid perverts.

Their new marketing motto "Copy Nothing" is also the motto of the impending Miami Art Week(opens Dec 2nd), both mimic Kamalalalas "unburdened by the Past" catch phrase.
Elon Musk tweeted them a response to their advert saying "Don't you build cars?", because no car is shown or mentioned.
They responded "Yes we DO, come see us in Miami Dec2nd!"
Might be a good time to mention that Musk, and Tesla, do ZERO advertising, but out sell Ford, Chrysler and Toyota.
NONE of the models they used, nor anyone who looks remotely like them, drive an actual Jaguar, nor could they likely afford one.

THe Jaguar Marketing Director just said a whole bunch of words that meant nothing. Was Kamala Harris his speech coach? I could care less about diversity, neuro whatever, and all of the rest of the work BS he spewed. I want a cool car that will work!

What is wrong with these people? Keep out of politics and social issues guys. Consumers want cars that are made well and priced accordingly. We don't want to have your crazy social agendas pushed on us.

Man, has Jaguar lost the plot. Their customer market was for guys who wanted a beautiful, fast car. This ad is ridiculous and will not sell one car. Who signed off on this debacle? Some suits trying to push woke stuff or just completely clueless?

The 'E' was the best looking car they every built, but the British reputation for oil leaks made even the purchase of one of them questionable.

You can't unsee this piece of garbage. Forty more seconds of my life squandered. Is Jaguar doing their best to go completely out of business?

Send 'em a 6-pack of Bud Light.
Include a note that they should copy the Target store chain here in the US, and invite male perverts into the ladies restrooms at the Jaguar dealers. (That should close the deal!)

Jaguar used to make some really fine cars. If I were a hundred times richer, I might want to go to an auction and buy a 1954 D-Type. Even in the past few years some Jaguars have been nice sleds. Going 100% electric will kill the brand. Most people have no use for electric cars. However, going all electric will be a worse disaster than it could have been because ... The 1965 XKE was the last Jaguar worth buying. It needed adjustments every other week but it was a fun car

Here's a representative Lucas joke.
"It's not true that Lucas, in 1947, tried to get Parliament to
repeal Ohm's Law. They withdrew their efforts when they met too much
resistance."
