We are plunged into an anticipatory grief

Today is a day of despair, and it would be futile to tell those who fear and grieve for what is to come in America that they will be OK. It would also be dishonest: many of us, in truth, will not be OK.
Donald Trump has decisively won the American election. He and his Republican allies have promised mass deportations that will ruin lives and sunder families; they have threatened to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and appoint the anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist Robert F Kennedy Jr to a position of authority on public health. They have pledged vast cuts to social security and Medicare, .

That first paragraph reads like a fantasy novel to me. I pray he follows his campaign promises and even if he does 50% of the destruction to the system promised in that screed I will eat my words about him and call it a success. A huge success.
IF.

This sounds like someone who listened to all of the Democrat talking points and simply believed them.
Just look at the long list of bogus attacks and fake impeachments the Democrats pushed.

I live in Europe, but for my lucky friends still in the US who may not be familiar with the Guardian: This "Newspaper" is so far to the left and so full of crap, it makes Pravda look like the Wall Street Journal.

If Moira Donavan is so worried about the millions of illegal aliens that Biden-Harris allowed to gain entry to the country by mischaracterizing and violating portions of the immigration laws passed by Congress, in order to gain a future voter demographic advantage for the leftist and progressive Democrats, what this liberal writer should do is arrange for them to be admitted to some socialist country like Ireland.

FTA: Today is a day of despair, and it would be futile to tell those who fear and grieve for what is to come in America that they will be OK.
Forget their future in America. Sadder for them is that more important future in eternity, if they persist in living lives of abomination to God, or support of it. This is actually a day of opportunity for them to open their eyes to the wickedness of rejecting and opposing God’s ways in favor of their own misguided ways. I pray that happens, before it’s too late for them.
But, I pray especially for those young people who have had their lives irreversibly altered by their horrific influence.

Isn't the Guardian a British newspaper? Anyway, she is an idiot. Those deportations she is lamenting about are people who are criminals. They ame here illegally. Many are hard core criminals or enemies of out country. If she wants to cry about this do so to Harris who allowed them to come here in the first place.
We don't want to be another UK that is overrun by foreigners who are destroying the country and their culture.

Moira Donegan, I feel bad for you because to paraphrase Ronald Reagan, so much of what you know just isn’t so. You are melting down today in fear of things that are never going to happen. Congress is not going to enact a national abortion ban. No one is going to die because Donald Trump is our next president. Congress is not going to take her and Social Security away from anyone.
You are the victim of the fear-mongering done by Democrats and the mainstream media, and for some reason you do not seem to have time and effort to discover the truth about the things that you are so worried about.
I will be a better place now, and almost everyone will be better off than they were the past four years.

The globalist wet dream is put on hold. Never forget, though, that "Progressives", too, are hell-bent on global socialism, but with the creeping relentlessness of continental drift.

It is like an old timey radio show. The Guardian Knows All! Or how a pack of dummies couldn't read a room. Trannies with intact wedding tackle in girls spaces and on girls sports - even to the extend a dude in his thirties forced himself on a 14 yo girls team, because he thinks he is a 14 yo girl. Teachers that hide vital information about preteen kids wanting to stupidly cut their junk off.
The Guardian Knows Jack should be the show - don't get me started on the newspaper - drivel.

There's no point in spiking the football. What matters is the future, which will require the House to change anything. Without that, we will get another four wasted years of impeachment hearings and lawfare vigilantes. The best thing Trump could do is appoint John Eastman as Attorney General and sweep the DOJ clean.

Wow. What garbage. Moira knows a lot of big, pretty words, but she hasn’t taken her nose out of her laptop long enough to look around.
Saving this article so I can ask her in four years where the concentration camps are, how many political assassinations took place, how many died because Trump was elected.
Just garbage.

Well Moira, when the nation plunges into chaos it will be because your side is the one causing it. Make no mistake about that. Your extreme TDS requires emergency psychological care before you completely go round the bend.
Today, I'm feeling free for the first time in 4 years and enjoying the first day of peace without being bombarded with dozens of texts from the Trump campaign.

Honestly, I hope this woman chokes on her anxiety. These hysterics are beyond the pale and an affront to all decent, hard-working Americans. I have no doubt that this woman will experience all that she fears because she will draw it to herself. Find a therapist, sugar, and a nice big bottle of Xanax.
