BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Republican Dave McCormick showed three-term Democratic Sen. Bob Casey the door in the Keystone State’s high-stakes Senate race, bringing a Pennsylvania political dynasty to an end — and securing the 53rd seat in the GOP’s 2025 Senate majority. (Photo) McCormick, an Army veteran and former hedge-fund executive, beat Casey by just over 30,000 votes, netting 49% of votes to the Democrat’s 48.5%, with 99% of votes counted, the Associated Press reports.
The minuscule margin triggered an automatic recount, as Pennsylvania law dictates for any race decided by 0.5 percentage points or less.
The Republican declared victory just after 1 p.m. Thursday, three hours hours before AP

Interesting that Breitbart has this as its lede on the same story —
Republican Dave McCormickwill be the next senator from the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, even as networks refuse to call the race and incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) refuses to concede.

I worry about what these lame-duck Senators will do to us before they're history.

This may be premature. I'm pretty sure Philadelphia is capable of rounding up the additional necessary Casey votes for the mandatory recount. Remember Franken/Coleman.

In 2000 during the interminable 36 days after the election, Al Gore would not concede, and every time a recount was done, Gore drew closer to the presidency, getting from the multiple thousand deficits to within 537 Florida votes before the SCOTUS put an end to the recount by a 7-2 margin. At no time was the recount favorable to GWB. All revisions went toward the Democrat. If Gore could have kept up the recount going until after Christmas, enough fraudulent votes would have somehow wormed their way into the big pile to have made that greedy lunatic president. As disappointing as the Bushes are now, keeping Al Gore out of power in '00 was their greatest achievement. For that I remain thankful. But screw the Bushes today. Globalists. Socialists. Reagan's worst mistake was tapping GHWB for vice president.

I was getting concerned about this one. The count wasn't ending and we all know how that usually works out. We can use the seat, I was afraid nobody would pay attention while doing a victory lap

Anyone tired of winning yet?
Can't be complacent, however, as the folks who pushed Russia, Russia, Russia scheme are working non-stop right now to plan lawfare ways to stop anything President Trump does.
They don't stop and we can't either.

Good riddance, Casey was among the most useless Senators. Remember when Senators were supposed to be smart, learned people? Then along came people like Teddy Kennedy, John McCain, Bob Casey…

This is massive. 53 seats gives the GOP ample breathing room to nullify any shenanigans RINOs Collins and Murkowsky might have been inclined to engage in.
