Well, well, well. What in the world does the prosecution of Donald Trump in Manhattan for bookkeeping charges have to do with the DOJ, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and Russia, Russia, Russia? Seems interesting, no? We're just now beginning to understand a few more things about this Jenga-like prosecution of Donald Trump. Other than the feds, in the form of the Southern District of New York federal prosecutors and the Federal Elections Commission declining to prosecute Trump for his payments to his attorney, we learned Tuesday that Robert Mueller's Special Counsel's Office wanted a piece of Michael Cohen before he reported to prison in 2018.

On Nov. 5, 2023, the New York Times published a story headlined, "Trump Leads in 5 Critical States as Voters Blast Biden, Times/Siena Poll Finds." Focusing on the states most likely to decide the 2024 election, the Times reported, "The results show Mr. Biden is losing to Mr. Trump, his likeliest Republican rival, by margins of four to 10 percentage points among registered voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania. Mr. Biden is ahead only in Wisconsin, by two percentage points, the poll found."The story set off a mass freakout in the Democratic Party. The verdict is in and the people have spoken.
The court of public opinion doesn’t give a damn about Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen.
Outside Manhattan and other Democrat strongholds, Americans don’t care whether a flaky porn actress and an ex-con serial liar with a closet full of axes to grind are telling the truth.
In fact, media obsession about the partisan show trial of defendant Donald Trump is obscuring a far more significant truth about him.
Candidate Trump has opened his biggest lead in the presidential campaign.

Dozens of legislators wrote to President Joe Biden on Monday to criticize the Biden administration’s decision to withhold certain weapons from Israel.
More than 100 lawmakers, including Democratic Rep. Jared Golden of Maine, signed the letter slamming the administration’s decision to hold back certain weapons from Israel, which President Joe Biden addressed during an interview last week with CNN. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators have engaged in highly-visible protests imploring Biden to back away from Israel for months before the administration ultimately opted to impose restrictions on military aid to Israeli forces.

A one-hundred-dollar bill does wonders with an Egyptian police officer at a Sinai roadblock who intercepts a truck packed with 'pipes.'" — Efraim Inbar and Mordechai Kedar, BESA Center, January 22, 2009.
This is just another example of how, when Palestinians become victims of oppressive measures taken against them by their Arab brothers, the world does not care a bit. About a decade ago, when Egypt demolished dozens of houses and buildings in Rafah as part of a campaign to combat terrorism, no one said a word against the Egyptians -- or even bothered to look.

More than half a million Palestinians have been displaced in recent days by escalating Israeli military operations in southern and northern Gaza, the United Nations says.
Around 450,000 Palestinians were driven out of Rafah in Gaza’s south over the past week, the United Nations’ agency for Palestinian refugees said Tuesday. There were roughly 1.3 million people sheltering in Rafah before Israel began pushing into the city, which Israel says is the last Hamas stronghold.
Israeli forces are also battling Hamas militants in northern Gaza, where the army had launched major operations earlier in the war. The army’s evacuation orders issued Saturday have displaced around 100,000 people so far,

Ayatollah Khamenei's initial issuance of a fatwa against nuclear weapons coincided with damning revelations in 2002: Iran was exposed clandestinely engaging in nuclear activities, including uranium enrichment, at covert facilities in Natanz and Arak.
These activities flamboyantly violated the principles outlined in the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), to which Iran was a signatory.
The timing of Khamenei's fatwa should only raise questions about its authenticity and underlying motive: it likely an attempt to mitigate international backlash and deflect scrutiny away from Iran's covert nuclear endeavors.
Iran's constitution explicitly mandates that both the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps are not only tasked with safeguarding the nation's frontiers,

The steadily rising price of a dozen eggs at your favorite supermarket is just about all you need to know. There are big problems in the domestic poultry industry. When the price recently jumped to $5 a dozen, it signaled another outbreak of the bird flu.
The bird-flu (highly pathogenic form of avian influenza) outbreaks are wreaking havoc on laying flocks of leghorns (white eggs) and Rhode Island reds (brown eggs) after being exposed to the virus introduced by wild birds (migratory ducks and geese passing it on to resident birds and then to the hen houses).
Newsmax recently posted an article describing how the TypeA H5N1 influenza virus,

You don’t need to follow the Stormy Daniels trial because you already know it’s a trainwreck. The jury selection process was a disaster, and this case is why we shouldn’t have political trials. No one can be impartial. It shouldn’t shock anyone if Trump is convicted since the pool seems to be comprised of left-leaning, Trump-hating consumers of liberal media. It’s the weakest case against the former president, but with the lawfare front waning for liberals, they will give it everything they have. You’d think Trump kidnapped the Lindbergh baby regarding the hyperbolic coverage. We knew this trial was going to be a circus.

Maher Bitar, the White House Coordinator for Intelligence and Defense Policy at the U.S. National Security Council (NSC), was a radical pro-Palestinian activist and a leader within Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).
The SJP is one of the most prominent groups involved in the pro-Hamas, antisemitic “encampment” protests that have taken over dozens of university campuses. Its parent group is also the target of a lawsuit by survivors and families of victims of the October 7 terror attack that alleges SJP is a propaganda front for Hamas in the U.S.

A new Monmouth University poll doesn’t portend well for climate alarmists: The climate crisis narrative, unsurprisingly, isn’t selling well - or at all - with the American people. Monmouth explained, “Less than half (46 percent) of the American public sees climate change as a very serious problem.”
This is down for every voting demographic group–Republicans, independents, and even Democrats. And the survey found that support for government action to fight climate change - like the Inflation Reduction Act and Biden administration net-zero directives - also has fallen.

It must have felt so good when Mike Johnson began his daily routine Thursday refreshing the home page of The New York Times and seeing his face at the very top accompanied by an article heralding him as “Speaker of the whole House” following Democrats’ rescue of his job.
If this isn’t what he lives for, I’m not sure what is. It’s certainly not to do anything remotely in the interest of Republican voters. Since he was elected speaker six months ago, Johnson’s victories are limited to voting to fully fund Joe Biden’s back-breaking agenda, heaping 60 billion more taxpayer dollars into a corrupt slush fund (sometimes called “Ukraine”)
