The parade of GOP leaders appearing outside the New York City courthouse where former President Donald Trump is on trial is "a little embarrassing," Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, said Wednesday. "I think it’s a little demeaning to show up in front of a courthouse particularly one where we’re talking about an allegation of paying a porn star," Romney told reporters before a Senate Foreign Relations Committee meeting in Washington. The former president is on trial for allegedly falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels amid the 2016 presidential election.

Were I Romney I wouldn’t use the adjective “embarrassing.” Unfortunately many of Trump’s congressional supporters embarrassed themselves by showing up wearing identical clothes. It was an ocean of dark suits and red ties, somewhat like backup singers. Kudos to Mike Johnson for bucking the red tie look.

I think it's strange that Romney is speaking as though the problem is Donald Trump. The problem is that the Uniparty remains united against Donald Trump, while middle America is fed up with Joe Biden putting illegal aliens on a pedestal like honored guests. That Mittens finds it "demeaning" that elected Republicans are calling out the political persecution of a former president makes clear his priorities don't include respecting the American people, who are entitled to elect their own president from the candidates THEY choose. Romney is trashing Trump for staying strong for the American people. We have more reason to doubt the integrity of Dems and RINOs, than the integrity of Donald Trump.

CHICAGO -- A former warehouse assistant for the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia pleaded guilty Wednesday to transporting millions of dollars worth of stolen Masters memorabilia and historic items, including one of Arnold Palmer's green jackets. Richard Globensky, of Georgia, made his initial court appearance in federal court in Chicago, where he entered the plea. Federal prosecutors said the 39-year-old would take items from the warehouse and transport them to another party in Florida for sale online. The scheme went on for nearly a decade, and Globensky made roughly $5 million from the sales.

When people gripe about paying taxes and the government being a poor the absolute worst possible capital allocator, this is what they are talking about: $7.5 billion in investments for electric vehicles has - in two years - produced just 7 charging stations across four states. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, signed by Biden in November 2021, allocated $7.5 billion for EV charging, the Washington Post writes. Of this amount, $5 billion went to states as "formula funding" for the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program to establish a network of fast chargers along major highways.

For the sixth year in a row, the National Education Association (NEA) faces a mass exodus of members. But the blame doesn’t lie with a shrinking student population or loss of funding, as NEA president Becky Pringle would have you believe. The NEA’s blatant prioritization of a radical political agenda at the expense of member representation is the true culprit, resulting in a loss of more than 12,000 members in 2023, per the union’s latest financial report. Union membership rates have been on the downturn for decades.

The decision not to retry Kelly comes a week after a mistrial was declared following a deadlocked jury. Kelly’s defense confirmed to Fox News Digital that there was "one, lone holdout" juror who wanted to convict, while the remaining jurors sought an acquittal.
