WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden or President Ron Burgundy?
In a case of life imitating art, the commander-in-chief blurted out the stage note “pause” Wednesday while addressing union members in the nation’s capital.
“Four more years. Pause,” said Biden, 81, a la Will Ferrell’s buffoonish newsman character in the classic 2004 comedy “Anchorman.”
Members of North America’s Building Trades Unions stepped in and dutifully chanted “four more years” in response to the president’s botched cue.
It was not immediately clear whether the instruction was included in Biden’s teleprompter or in his prepared remarks.
The gaffe was one of a series of bizarre moments that peppered the speech,

Social media is abuzz over a video that Roseanne Barr shared mocking professional victim E. Jean Carroll, who claimed that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her in the dressing room of New York's Bergdorf Goodman's department store in the mid-1990s.
In the footage, Roseanne gazes into the camera like she’s overwhelmed.
“What happened, mom?” her son asked from behind the camera. “We’re at Bergdorf, are you okay? You look very shocked."
"No, I'm not okay,” she says. "I just had a horrible flashback, a horrible memory." She then reveals, "Right now I realize that 26 years ago, Joe Biden raped me right here in that dressing room in the shoe department

Democrats had set their sights on impeaching Donald Trump long before he assumed the presidency. The media was openly speculating how Democrats might impeach him if he won months before the election. Once they had control of the House in 2019, it was only a matter of time before they ginned up a pretext for impeaching him. Bizarrely, they launched an impeachment inquiry over a phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Those charges stemmed from the accusations of whistleblower Eric Ciaramella, who took his claims to Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-Calif.) office in 2019. Democrats accused Trump of attempting a quid pro quo with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy,

"Tammy and I are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of our friend, and a steadfast champion for the people of New Jersey, Congressman Donald Payne, Jr.," wrote New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy in a statement released just after noon ET on Wednesday. [Tweet]
Payne's office originally attempted to depict the heart attack as non-life-threatening.

On Monday, Louisiana’s top education official told the state’s school districts to ignore Joe Biden’s radical changes to federal Title IX rules that would force schools to recognize gender identity and make special arrangements for transgender athletes.
In his letter, Superintendent of Education Cade Brumley told schools that they should not observe the new rules and “should not alter policies or procedures at this time,” The Hill reported.
Brumley added that Biden’s new regulations are “in direct contradiction” to the state’s 2022 law that bars transgender student-athletes from competing under their chosen gender on school sports teams.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) believes that former President Donald Trump is guilty, something he stated clearly publicly, even before Trump’s trial is really underway.
When asked by CNN’s Manu Raju, about the allegations that Trump falsified business records to hide payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels, Romney gave Trump a guilty verdict.
“I think everybody has made their own assessment of President Trump’s character, and so far as I know you don’t pay someone $130,000 not to have sex with you,” Romney said.
Trump is currently facing 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree regarding payments made to Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.

A transgender student told New Hampshire lawmakers that forcing him to play on the boys’ team at school gives him “mental anguish” and that he should be allowed to play on the team that matches his gender identity.
Male-born track & field athlete Maelle Jacques appeared before the House Education Committee of the New Hampshire House of Representatives Monday to speak against SB375, which would ban transgender girls from playing on any state-sponsored school girls’ sports team.
“Joining a male team wouldn’t even be a choice for me” because of the “mental anguish I’d go through being forced to be someone I’m not,” he said during his prepared statement. [Tweet, video]

A gag order that severely limits what former President Donald Trump can say publicly about a case where a Democrat district attorney is seeking to put him in jail was the focus in court on Tuesday as part of the business records trial he faces in Manhattan.
Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg accused Trump of violating the gag order 11 times for allegedly attacking witnesses and other members of the court — even if they have attacked him.
New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over the case and who imposed the gag order, could fine Trump up to $11,000.

There have always been radicals on college campuses – tenure exists to protect professors from being fired for doing pretty much anything, from espousing the virtues of violence against the United States in the name of “justice,” to screwing a new co-ed every semester. It’s the key to what is happening now on campus with the attacks on Jews and anyone else who isn’t a terrorist sympathizer, and it’s what is going to get people killed. Democrats just hope the people killed are on “their side,” as they are more than willing to sacrifice a few young people for the “greater good.”

Four years ago, the media birthed one of the biggest fictions that it pushed during the COVID-19 pandemic: that Donald Trump told Americans to inject themselves with bleach. He did no such thing, but the desperate Biden campaign wants you to think so. [Tweet, video]
The false claim originated from the White House Coronavirus Task Force Briefing on April 23, 2020. During the briefing, Trump and others discussed possible COVID-19 treatments, including UV light treatments. The portion of the quote featured in the video from Biden's campaign is in bold.

As far as the student protesters at Columbia University and other universities are concerned, they’re making a strong and principled stand for justice. Yet events at Columbia and elsewhere have taken an ugly turn, with the protesters sounding more like the National Socialists (remember, that’s what “Nazi” means) of 1930s Germany than any actual crusader for human rights.
When this latest social contagion has run its course and the hysteria has died down, these students would do well to consider carefully what they’re actually supporting. It’s clear that they haven’t done so as of yet.

Does President Trump have 1st Amendment rights or doesn't he??!!
