Non-profit theater companies across the country would receive a $5 billion taxpayer-funded bailout under a new plan being promoted by a group of Democrats in the Senate. The proposed bailout comes as prominent stages are facing unprecedented financial crises following their embrace of woke identity politics, which has alienated audiences and donors. Among the companies poised to receive the new federal dollars would be New York’s Public Theater, which staged the gruesome stabbing death of President Donald Trump in its infamous 2017 production of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.

Why do democrats spend billions on ridiculous crud that has very little effect on the average American family. Because they couldn’t care less about you unless you can do something for them. In other words, money. Lots of it.

They sure can figure out ways to waste Taxpayer Dollars. Why in the world do we CARE if the Movie Industry goes under? Maybe if they tried making a decent Picture, we would think about going the the Theater again. It's been nothing but Filth, full of the "F" word and naked women. Not what I would even think of spending $12 or $15 to look at that garbage! I suppose they will decide to help out Disney next!

NO! More money we don't have being printed and passed out to democrat buddies. This has got to stop. If they fold and go under they fold and go under. Believe it or not we can deal with that. More taxes hoisted on our shoulders, more debt, more inflation. Let them get some backers and figure it out. I don't care. I am tired of scraping by while these progressive bedfellows scratch each others back. While a play from Shakespeare might be enjoyable I'll just read the play. It becomes self sustaining or it goes bye bye. You are not nearly as talented and entertaining as you think you are.

No. All kinds of "companies" are struggling. We need to get our financial house in order. Same advice regarding "foreign entanglements." President Trump was not and is not an "isolationist." He was doing what he must do Constitutionally, the crucial task of providing for the defense of this country and setting the national economy on a path toward prosperity, which would have made progress in solving our debt and deficit problems. He did this while the Dems spent their time falsely accusing DJT of absurdities and fueling the irrational hatred of him. They were and are destructive and have cause great damage to The Body Politic and the economic conditions, and the social fabric has been shredded. A healthy, prosperous country, one where the citizens respect one another (generally speaking) and love their own country, this is an American which can effectively "lead" the world: by example and a moral grounding, NOT as a push-over moneybags.

If the money is not in the budget, which it isn't, then they should not be allowed to spend money they don't have. That goes for Biden also. China has surged sales to Russia of machine tools, microelectronics and other technology that Moscow in turn is using to produce missiles, tanks, aircraft and other weaponry for use in its war against Ukraine, according to a U.S. assessment. Two senior Biden administration officials, who discussed the sensitive findings Friday on the condition of anonymity, said that in 2023 about 90% of Russia’s microelectronics came from China, which Russia has used to make missiles, tanks and aircraft. Nearly 70% of Russia’s approximately $900 million in machine tool imports in the last quarter of 2023 came from China.

President Biden said Friday that his message to Iran is “don’t” attack Israel — after forecasting that Tehran is likely to do so “sooner than later.” The 81-year-old commander in chief addressed two days of fevered speculation of a looming attack on the set of the “fake” White House in an office building adjacent to the West Wing. Asked “how imminent” an attack on Israel may be, Biden said, “my expectation is sooner than later” following his virtual address to Al Sharpton’s National Action Network. Asked for his message to Iran, Biden said a single word: “Don’t.”

OMany unknowns remain around Iran’s promised retaliation against Israel for its killing of a cluster of Quds Force fighters (including top brass) in Syria. One thing is certain, however: This is President Biden’s foreign policy working by design. That’s why America’s most committed regional enemy is menacing our most important regional ally, as US analysts sit and mull over the size and scope of the strike — and the White House basically wrings its hands. Not that Iran needs to do anything big. Thanks to Biden, Iran already is winning the battle for regional supremacy with proxy actions. Israel’s already fighting an Iranian proxy on one front in Gaza as another, Hezbollah,

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe on Thursday acknowledged errors in the investigation of former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign as he pushed for a warrantless surveillance tool’s renewal. At the end of Donald Trump's presidential term, Iran was nearing an economic collapse with little ability to project strength outside of funding terrorist proxies. Internal revolutions were brewing, and the Mullahs were in their weakest position in decades. Then Joe Biden took over. Since then Iran has been revitalized, seeing significant growth in its military budget due to the waiving of sanctions. The Islamic power has also come far closer to developing usable nuclear weapons. What did the United States get in return? It received a frayed relationship with long-time ally Saudia Arabia and absolute chaos from Kabul to Tel Aviv.
