New York police took custody of an unlicensed firearm belonging to anti-Trump activist E. Jean Carroll following a report from The National Pulse. (snip) During the trial, Carroll informed the federal court in lower Manhattan that she kept the firearm, a “high standard revolver, nine chambers”, along with ammunition at her home, next to her bed. She also admitted to not possessing a firearm license. (snip) Under NY state law, possession of an unregistered firearm can lead to a criminal possession charge with a maximum sentence of four years.

Charge her with some 1700 law that requires she be jailed forever. Just like they did to Trump. Maybe she will admit she was railroaded by Michael Cohen.

Re #4, yes, the number of chambers in the cylinder depends on how many will fit. Lots of .22 caliber revolvers have 8 or 9 or 10 chambers. The small Smith and Wesson revolvers in .38 caliber today were originally designed for .32 caliber, and had six shots. Later they were redesigned to handle the larger .38 ammunition, so only five shots were possible in the same frame and cylinder dimensions. So a lot of small revolvers are five shot.

Whether it is s .22 or a .44 magnum, it still meets the definition of a "firearm" under New York state law. As such, the penalty for possessing an "illegal" firearm in that state is rather severe. I doubt she will see any incarceration from this, so the entire matter will be just another example of the two-tiered justice system that New York;s "justice system" seems to favor.

Here are some details about this Western-style revolver: 1. **High Standard Double-Nine Revolver**: - Introduced in **1958**, the Double-Nine was a **double-action** revolver with a **nine-shot capacity**. - Key features: - **Aluminum frame**. - **Rebounding hammer**. - **5½ inch barrel**. - Available in **blue** and **nickel** finishes. - Grip options included **white or black plastic** and later **fake stag**. - Sears sold this revolver under various names, including the **J.C. Higgins Ranger**, **Model 90**, and **Ranger De Luxe**. - High Standard also manufactured similar western-style revolvers for **Western Auto** and **Kroydon Arms**. - Over time, the Double-Nine series underwent several modifications and improvements¹.

So interesting that Ms. Carroll is now being referred to as an anti-Trump activist. So, is she no longer a "rape victim"? Did she lie about being a "rape victim"? Seems like if she is no longer a "rape victim" she should not be getting no $83.3 million bucks from Trump. The article doesn't mention if Ms. Carroll has a NYS license to own a firearm. Moreover, as my husband just informed me, Governor Andrew Cuomo made it even more illegal (to use a technical legal term,LOL) to possess a firearm containing 9 chambers. If justice was fair and blind E.J. Carroll would be in a heap of trouble with her admission of possessing said firearm. Seems to me that since Ms. Carroll is no longer a victim of "rape" she should also be prosecuted for perjury. But ain't not a single hair on her pointy little head gonna be mussed up. She hates Trump, is a democrat, a nominal member of the press and therefore is totally above the law. Welcome to democrats' America 2024.

Kansas Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly has vetoed legislation that would have banned gender-affirming care treatment for minors. “This divisive legislation targets a small group of Kansans by placing government mandates on them and dictating to parents how to best raise and care for their children,” Kelly said in a statement Friday, announcing her veto. “I do not believe that is a conservative value, and it’s certainly not a Kansas value.” She added that the bill goes against parental rights and that the government should not be in "between a parent and a child who needed medical care of any kind.”

A California reparations bill prioritizing black applicants in state professional licensing is likely unconstitutional and violates the U.S. Constitution’s equal protections clause under the 14th Amendment, says the Pacific Legal Foundation. AB 2862, authored by Assemblymember Mike Gipson, D-Carson, would “require boards to prioritize African American applicants seeking licenses under these provisions, especially applicants who are descended from a person enslaved in the United States.” The bill was introduced in February as a broader package of reparations for Black Californians, a package that did not include direct cash payments. Supermarket operators would also have to make "good faith" efforts to ensure the continued availability of groceries at their shuttered location, either through finding a successor store, helping residents form a grocery co-op, or any other plan they might work out by meeting with city and neighborhood residents.

Of course, in a stunning move, President Biden is pushing Israel not to retaliate. It's hard to imagine why Biden would do that, except when you consider that Joe Biden has been appeasing Iran since his days as Barack Obama vice president. With that in mind, it's also not surprising—though it's still shocking— that Joe Biden not only had prior knowledge of Iran's assault on Israel but also technically gave it the green light under certain conditions, according to a report from the Jerusalem Post.
