Whatever happened to the notion that we should NOT forcibly be meddling in other Countries right to self-determination? If other's would like to join the U.S. in agreements, that is THEIR business. This idea that we should be involved in "nation building" by interfering in Israel's business to protect Hamas by encoraging the OVERTHROW of the Netanyahu government is certainly in violation of the notion that Israel and an independent nation should decide for itself what and how to respond. It is true that NOT ALL persons living in Gaza are radical extremeist jihadis-- most just want to peacefully be left alone to live their lives with their familes. It is also true that much of the foreign aid that has been given has been diverted to the gangs and militia whose sold purpos is to destroy Isreal-- their own citizens who are not in that faction be damned. Not exactly the same but with similarities is that when private money is raised to help others after disasters or famines, efforts like the "We are the World" funds, or Tsunami relief, etc. are often DIVERTED to political causes instead of humanitarian ones through corrupt parties and politicians. This Natanyahu quote come so mind more profoundly now than ever: "The truth is that if Israel were to put down its arms there would be no more Israel.If the Arabs were to put down their arms ther would be no more war." So many people just want to live and let wive without the fear of war, but those militant waring gangs and militia member of groups that hate Israel will never stop unless totally eradicated so their civilian citizens weill not be drawn into the terrorism of war, Pray that peace will come soon. The UN is anti-Israel as is Joe Biden. They are pushing a cease fire because Israel is doing the one thing that will actually ensure the safety of its citizens. They are bringing retribution down on the heads of the terrorists who committed unbelievable atrocities against their citizens, Regardless of what any cease fire says, terrorist organizations will ultimately do whatever they want. They have even stated that a cease fire will be of no regard for them. They have one agenda, kill every Israeli in the most horrific way and then take their land which will be quickly returned to the barren wasteland that it was before Israel made it beautiful and productive. Muslims are not about improving the lives of their people. It’s always about Jihad. Hamas and other terrorist groups hate that Israel worships the true and living God. The Jewish people are an affront to their religion which teaches violence is the pathway to eternal life for them. They don’t want peace and the UN and Biden are advocating for more terror which is exactly what they will get with a cease fire. It’s time Israel protected Israel and stopped listening to outsiders.

In case you're wondering, this is the Military Industrial complex trying to secure their customer base. There was an old story, where an eager young policeman was meticulous in ferreting out criminals. His superior told him to chill, because if he caught all the criminals, or chased them off, they wouldn't have job security as policemen. Military Industrial Complex (MIC) works like that. If it's coming from the U.N. you can pretty safely bet that the cease-fire part will precede the hostage release. And the cycle so familiar in U.N. interventions will be repeated.

The only cease fire needed is when there are no more Hamas. I believe that is what Netanyahu said.
