Texas governor Greg Abbott has turned the screw on the Biden administration by barring federal agents from one of the hottest flashpoints on the southern border.
The White House was already demanding the Supreme Court allow it to rip down miles of razor wire the state government has strung across a 29-mile section of the border around Eagle Pass.
Now the Texas National Guard has barred Border Patrol agents entirely from the 2.5-mile section of Shelby Park and defiantly stationed its military vehicles at the entrance to block access.
'That is not a decision that we agreed to,' Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas wrote as he reported the show of force on Facebook.

Bias is strong in this author. On the immigration bills, there have been numerous attempts of both houses of Congress to address immigration…all involve enabling migration at rates beyond which many are uncomfortable with, and spending monies we do not have (of course). So, critters do not want to risk their jobs. On the Taxas lands..the message could have been that the feds for attempting breaking and entering, but the State prevented these improprieties

No one is keeping the feds from "Seeing" the river...there are three bridges over that river all within 1 Mile of Shelby Park, Eagle Pass International bridge is directly OVER Shelby Park, all Much higher than the nearby land, and ALL 100% under Federal Control...In fact, under LAW the ONLY place anyone can enter is via one of those bridges, the ONLY reason anyone would cross elsewhere is if they already KNOW they cannot legally enter the US.
How many miles of fence does the US Govt have around it's facilities, just in Texas alone?
What is the penalty for cutting through any of them?
Getting caught trespassing in any of them?

This is how civil wars start. When one government agency stands up to another. It escalates when one resorts to force and additional government agencies rush in to assist one or the other . This is potentially the flash point for open rebellion and the application of force by the fed to subjugate a state. It won't end well.
The smart move would be to back down. Something that Biden won't do and something that Abbott can't do.

3, I put my money on Texas National Guard over the wokie woke Feds.
The Feds would have to take their estrogen shots before they went out there and then announce their pronouns.

#3 is correct. We are looking at a clash involving states’ rights coupled with Texans watching their state being overrun by third world criminals and their poor. This isn’t 1861 but the similarities are piling up.

#6, I'm surprised Choir Boy Lankford isn't on the list. He led the push to legalize 8500 / day 24/7/365. Can you imagine #8501 saying Okay, I'll come back tomorrow.

The rank and file of the federal agents should just smile and say "ok" when the Texans tell them to back off. After work, they can all have beers together and make fun of Biden.

The Fed seems to be against anything that helps America and Americans.
They have abdicated their calling. They steal and print money, then give it to those who will not work.
Pretty disgusting.
