Indiana Republican Sen. Todd Young told the media on Friday, days after former President Trump’s commanding Super Tuesday performance, that he will not be endorsing the former president. "Nothing's changed from my standpoint," Young told CNN after WWEV 44 News reported that Young will not support Trump due to the former president’s position and comments on Russia’s war in Ukraine. "I trust the people I represent to make their own decisions on who they’re going to vote for." The outlet reported that Young has not decided who he will support in November.

Diego Ibarra, 29, was charged by a federal criminal complaint and is being held in state custody, the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Middle District of Georgia said in a press release. Ibarra could face as many as ten years in prison if convicted.
Burnsville, Minn. — Just over a day after a shooting claimed the lives of three first responders in Burnsville, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has confirmed the name of the man behind the deadly shooting. Shannon Gooden, 38, died after opening fire on those first responders. A medical examiner's report said he died by suicide.

Two minors have been charged with gun-related offenses in connection to the Kansas City mass shooting earlier this week. The 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri announced the charges in a statement on Friday. Livingston schools will close early on April 8 to avoid any danger to students and families from the solar eclipse, according to a letter Superintendent Matthew J. Block sent home to families Wednesday.
The Essex County school district’s four schools will dismiss at noon or 12:45 p.m., hours before the eclipse, so students are not tempted to look directly at the sun without protective eyewear during their usual dismissal time, the superintendent said.
