Progressive Democrats are furious at President Joe Biden for accurately describing the man suspected of murdering 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley. Biden addressed Riley’s death during his State of the Union address Thursday evening after he was heckled by Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R., Ga.) and misstated her name in the process. “Lincoln (sic) Riley, an innocent young women who was killed by an illegal, that’s right,” Biden said while holding up a pin with her name on it. “To her parents I say, my heart goes out to you having lost children myself, I understand,” he added. Progressive lawmakers led by Representative Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) objected

So the man who murdered Laken Riley wasn’t an illegal? It wasn’t wrong for him to murder her? It wasn’t an incendiary act? These people just can’t allow themselves to believe that these illegals are causing harm to Americans. Until it happens to them.

The speech was aimed solely at the party’s faltering base. The Laken ("Lincoln") Riley's section was not in the planned speech. It was adlibbed after verbal provocation. He was under stress. Meaning he said what he actually thought. And the progressive wing knows it. Anything to the contrary of "illegal" is gaslightting by himself and his handlers.

The Left treats "illegal" like using the wrong pronoun for xir. They are trying to neutralize the criminality of the people invading the US through the use of redefined 1984 Doublespeak. Their fury is entertaining. Let's just call them Criminal Immigrants, OK? As soon as they step across the border without proper credentials, they are criminals.

Former adviser to President George W. Bush Karl Rove warned Donald Trump that the former president’s attitude toward Nikki Haley’s supporters threatens his reelection bid this November. Rove claimed that with the electoral makeup of the 2024 election so close, Trump should not upset supporters of the former U.N. ambassador because their lack of support for him could benefit President Joe Biden instead. More than 76,000 voters chose Haley in Tuesday night’s Wisconsin primary, representing a significant percentage of voters still not sold on Trump. “Mr. Trump’s attitude to his rivals’ supporters has gone from dismissiveness—’they always bend the knee’—to indifference, saying he doesn’t need ‘too many’ Haley supporters to win

Biden has received much backlash over his response to the Israel-Hamas war. “The President doesn’t get credit for being ‘privately enraged’ when he still refuses to use leverage to stop the IDF from killing and starving innocent people,” Favreau posted to X
