This segment was low-hanging fruit, but it’s always a good reminder to know your enemy's thoughts and end game. The Left's agenda items are often televised on MSNBC and CNN. MSNBC is by far the worst of the two, and ex-NBC News reporter Heidi Przybyla, now with Politico, demonstrated that Thursday night with her screed against Christianity. Of course, it was framed under the guise of Christian nationalism. Still, the commentary was very much grounded in mainstream concepts about where rights come from, as Thomas Jefferson is the person who wrote about what Przybyla found unsettling (via Mediaite):

Reminder: “WE ARE A SALON AND NOT A SALOON”
Your thoughts, comments, and ideas are always welcome here. But we ask you to please be mindful and respectful. Threatening or crude language doesn't persuade anybody and makes the conversation less enjoyable for fellow L.Dotters.

I can always depend on Bishop Robert Barron for good common sense. Back when he and I went to school, we used to study the Constitution and we had a good grounding in American history too. Practically none of the press do. Certainly Heidi Przybyla doesn't have a clue.

Anyone who actually watches MSNBC is beyond redemption...It makes little difference in the body-politic what they say or how they say it. Moscow and Beijing love it American Patriots do not!

No surprise to hear it spoken out loud. They believe in ego & power & have no higher authority than their feelings.

FTA: 'They don’t come from Congress, they don’t come to the Supreme Court, they come from God.” '
How could our rights come from Congress or the SC, if we HAD them before either was established?

It's always good to reflect on the wisdom of Rush Limbaugh, who totally banned MSNBC and refused to be baited into mentioning them or their boundless ignorance.

So Heidi, you are fine with last year's Dobbs decision by our Supreme Court, correct?

Why does the left possess such fear over a Man who lived 2,000 years ago and who, during His life, did nothing wrong against society, doing only good things for people in suffering? Why do they fear Him so?
Only through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ's saving work on the Cross can we have eternal life with our Creator in Heaven. Salvation is by faith alone, through Christ alone.
Why do they fear Him so?

Most so-called “journalists” are semi-literate halfwits who know nothing of history or the Founding Fathers, and have never read the Constitution. This halfwit is no different.

@7, because to acknowledge the higher power of Christianity requires personal accountability and perhaps the understanding of adherence to and the consequences for lack thereof in the Commandments.

I'm a Christian, and a patrioto...so, I'm not afraid of the nationalist label, sounds good to me.
So, Christian nationalist.....and so what? Proud of it, not going to change. Don't like it??

Megadittos, #10, but I'll take it one step further:
America is a Christian nation, as even the most casual familiarity with its founding and history will demonstrate. Not even debatable.
Therefore, while Jews, muslims, and "others" may also apply, to be a patriotic American is, by definition, to be a Christian Nationalist.

“I believe all Americans are born with certain inalienable rights. As a child of God, I believe my rights are not derived from the constitution. My rights are not derived from any government. My rights are not denied by any majority. My rights are because I exist. They were given to me and each of my fellow citizens by our creator, and they represent the essence of human dignity...”
