McConnell team in talks with Trump camp
about possible endorsement

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) could be moving closer to endorsing former President Trump, a nod from an influential detractor that would serve as a powerful message for Trump. Two sources familiar with the situation told The Hill that top lieutenants for the two GOP behemoths — Chris LaCivita, Trump’s campaign manager; and Josh Holmes, McConnell’s longtime top political hand — have held discussions in recent weeks about possibly thawing the freeze in their relationship and paving the way for McConnell to back Trump. “We’ve reached the part of the primary where the party is coming together,” one source familiar with the discussions said.

Surprisingly, one of Mitch "MultiUselessMultiFreeze" McConnell's top RINO fetch dogs, John Thune, endorsed DJT. February 25, 2024...... "Senate Minority Whip John Thune, the No. 2 Senate Republican leader, is endorsing former President Trump for reelection. That leaves, among others, John Barrass who will endorse anyone that MultiUseless says its OK. No need to talk with the RINO Hall Of Fame members - Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mitt "Pierre Delecto" Romney. They have TDS.

I'm sure this "endorsement" doesn't have anything to do with the unrest in the Republican Senate caucus where the talk is getting serious about removing McConnell from his leadership position. No, that couldn't have anything to do with it. The turtle is looking for help.

Trump should start talking about how he simply wants to fix things, and help people. Mention how most of the people in DC (particularly Democrats) only want to growth the size and scope of government which never solves the problems of ordinary people. More government means more money is needed you, the people paying for everything. McConnell should realize Trump is a guy who wants to get things done, solve the problems, which means he's open to negotiate deals. But, Trump likes, and wants, GOOD deals for the American people. The Democrats have a huge problem at the out-of-control border, also want funding for other things, and the border needs the wall/barrier/fence they denied Trump. Trump knows the Republicans should demand that funding and construction as the first thing with triggers if they don't follow through. Some Republicans don't realize the strong position they are in since they're rarely in a strong bargaining position.

The Biden team has spoken out — rightly — against the use of TikTok and the danger that it can potentially pose. Joe Biden is now saying he will sign a bill to ban TikTok if the bill passes. They say that they are trying to discourage people from using it, but then in the next breath, they turn around and use it all over the place, while trying to push Biden's campaign among young people. So much for their principles. It's more hypocritical "rules for thee" from them. Do they not think people will look at that and wonder about the inconsistency?

After President Joe Biden said Saturday that Israel invading the Gazan city of Rafah, where many refugees from northern Gaza have relocated, would be a "red line" regarding America's support, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu replied that Israel will indeed invade Rafah because his own red line is "that October 7th doesn't happen again, never happens again." Netanyahu's remarks also come amid reports that the Biden administration is attempting regime change in Israel, and after Biden was caught in a hot mic moment after Thursday's State of the Union address saying that he was going to have a "come to Jesus" moment with "Bibi."

Breitbart reported on the early vote tallies, which have since been confirmed as indicating an accurate final result by The Irish Times. The two referenda would have changed the definition of family from marriage-based to “durable relationship” based, and aimed “to remove supposedly ‘sexist’ references to women and their role in organising domestic life to a gender-neutral concept of ‘care’,” per Breitbart. A great deal hinged on Joe Biden's performance during Thursday evening's State of the Union address. The White House knew more than anything that Biden had to dispel concerns regarding his age and cognitive decline. Naturally, the mainstream media did its part to help in shore up this narrative affirming Biden's presidential competence, and wound up choosing the same entry from the thesaurus to characterize his delivery: "fiery." I'm sure it was just a coincidence. But, it didn't work for those of us who saw and heard Biden's loud and angry delivery, which was punctuated by constant slurring and slip ups.
