Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) could be moving closer to endorsing former President Trump, a nod from an influential detractor that would serve as a powerful message for Trump.
Two sources familiar with the situation told The Hill that top lieutenants for the two GOP behemoths — Chris LaCivita, Trump’s campaign manager; and Josh Holmes, McConnell’s longtime top political hand — have held discussions in recent weeks about possibly thawing the freeze in their relationship and paving the way for McConnell to back Trump.
“We’ve reached the part of the primary where the party is coming together,” one source familiar with the discussions said.

Surprisingly, one of Mitch "MultiUselessMultiFreeze" McConnell's top RINO fetch dogs, John Thune, endorsed DJT.
February 25, 2024......
"Senate Minority Whip John Thune, the No. 2 Senate Republican leader, is endorsing former President Trump for reelection.
That leaves, among others, John Barrass who will endorse anyone that MultiUseless says its OK. No need to talk with the RINO Hall Of Fame members - Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mitt "Pierre Delecto" Romney. They have TDS.

McConnell is a complete snake and not to be trusted. Like #4 says, you either endorse or you don't.

Art of the deal and all, but Mitch needs to be primaried. He's the head eunuch of the Uni-Party.

Don't forget RINO fetch dog Wicker, he's up for re election in March. His first television ads featured President Trump, then they disappeared after Wicker voted for the Immagration bill. I think Trump's campaign told him to pull the ads with Trump in them. Useless as Mitch and the other RINO'S.

How many voters will change their selection to President Donald John Trump because they found out that Mitch McConnell is endorsing him?

I'm sure this "endorsement" doesn't have anything to do with the unrest in the Republican Senate caucus where the talk is getting serious about removing McConnell from his leadership position. No, that couldn't have anything to do with it. The turtle is looking for help.

Trump should start talking about how he simply wants to fix things, and help people.
Mention how most of the people in DC (particularly Democrats) only want to growth the size and scope of government which never solves the problems of ordinary people.
More government means more money is needed you, the people paying for everything.
McConnell should realize Trump is a guy who wants to get things done, solve the problems, which means he's open to negotiate deals. But, Trump likes, and wants, GOOD deals for the American people.
The Democrats have a huge problem at the out-of-control border, also want funding for other things, and the border needs the wall/barrier/fence they denied Trump. Trump knows the Republicans should demand that funding and construction as the first thing with triggers if they don't follow through. Some Republicans don't realize the strong position they are in since they're rarely in a strong bargaining position.

Yeah, I'd want an endorsement from an old vapor-locked fossil like McConnell.

I wouldn't want the crooked old fossil's endorsement. He's stabbed Trump in the back before. It should not be rewarded.

Let's face it. Trump just win. McConnell sees the writing on the wall. He knows he's done. The negotiation now is if I endorse you and retire and not run for reelection will you let me go with my "reputation " in tack?
