Why does it seem like most members of

or both?

Given the wholesale disaster that has been the Biden presidency, one has to wonder how it all happened. We have all seen the Democrat party become radicalized, almost purely Marxist, since the Obama administration. Obama promised to transform the country and he surely did. He effectively drove race relations backward by seventy years.
It is common knowledge that Obama despised his VP Biden. Why he was chosen to be his VP in the first place is anybody’s guess. Biden was a known jerk, a racist (his mentor was KKK member/aficionado Robert Byrd), rather dumb, a plagiarist, and a pathological liar.

Don't vote for an incumbent more than once. Turnover in politics is good.

It is my belief that most of the people in congress are there because it was their life's ambition to BE there. The most important thing in their life was to get elected to congress and they are going to do whatever it takes to stay there. The welfare of the country is only secondary to them. Maintaining power is their primary motivation. Not all, but most.

Duh, it's not rocket science. They're there because they speak eloquently and generally are likable. They are politicians - meaning they are loyal to their pockets - money. Both statements in the headline are true. They get nothing done, except talk to the walls.

2500 years ago Sparta and Athens defeated the Persians.
All Greece got was about a100 years of bragging rights. The Persians were very wealthy and bribed the Greek officials, thus defeating them.
Sound familiar?

IMO the dims and gopes operate like organized crime. they have the resources to determine who will appear on the ballot and will do everything possible to ensure they can control them

They are not. They are deceitful. They manipulate events to do the least possible action in response to an issue for the most personally profitable outcome. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT AMERICAN CITIZENS. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEMSELVES!

1. Would you want to run for congress? I wouldn’t.
2. People know and care less than they ever have about what’s going on.
3. Power and money corrupt.

I abhor the sloppy use of language. Mayorkas has not "flaunted" the immigration laws. If he had done so, he would have displayed them in an ostentatious manner. Instead, he flouted them

No, most politicians are evil these days.
The people that keep electing and re-electing them are stupid.
I hope that clears it up!!!

The best among us do not run for Congress because they don't want to subject themselves and their families to smears (i.e. the politics of personal destruction) in the media, especially conservatives.
Although he was not running for Congress, take a look at how the media tried to destroy Brett Cavenaugh.

I think it was JFK who said that once you get elected, you think you can really make changes, but the reality is that you cannot. DC is a club that supports you if you do as you are told. If, like Trump, you try to effect change or blow the whistle on corruption, the power of the status quo will crush you. Ability is a non issue. That being said, I agree with other posters' comments that stupid voters often elect stupid politicians.
