Taking a Chance on Risk

It's been nearly 40 years since the Berlin Wall collapsed and the end of history arrived. While most people welcomed the peace and prosperity the interim has brought, the organic evolution of the world has been stunted, forced into a straitjacket, and grown misshapen. Our predicament is that we fear the bad old 20th century, and yet the shoes we walked out of its ruins with are pinching our 21st-century feet. No one feels the contradiction more than the hegemon itself. Is there any way for America to relax the reins on the world-order stagecoach without risking a team of runaway horses? Greg Lawson frames the problem in this way.

Gee...after 10,000 years of alleged civilization,6000 years of Judaism,2000 years of Christianity the only thing that hasn't changed is human nature. Looks like we learned nothing again and are doomed to repeat our mistakes...

An interesting take. No doubt Our Betters are considering World Order and Domestic Engineering as two sides of the same coin. It's too bad they're so sharp they'll probably chop us all up, including themselves. Several years ago I had dinner with a guy that had been involved in regional planning here in Texas in the 1980s and was then involved in regional planning for the EU. Talking about his and his fellow planners' work in the 1980s, he said "we got it completely wrong." Oh well.

FTA: "The balance is there to strike. Perhaps a future American world order should be based less on the continuity of institutions than upon the maintenance of comparative advantage in capabilities. The indefinite survival of the UN, NATO, the federal bureaucratic empire and elite structures, etc, is pointless if it undermines the purposefulness, social cohesion, and productivity of the United States. If America remains dynamic, then all else follows. If it stagnates, the UN can't save it. If the house burns, save the family, including the cat, first. If you save the family, you can always buy new furniture later." Our big problem is the Deep State's intention on maintaining the "federal bureaucratic empire and elite structures" from which they gain their power. They have no care if it undermines the "purposefulness, social cohesion, and productivity" of our country. In fact, the destruction of our society is their shared goal with Klaus Schwab and the WEF. None of our so-called leaders have any interest in American remaining dynamic, nor does anyone expect the UN to save anybody. They are the ones who set the house afire, and locked the family inside. I'm giving up reading Richard. He's either blind to the reality of the Deep State and their betrayal, or he's their shill.

Our form of government was fundamentally changed with the 17th amendment. ( the 16th didn’t help either). Failure of the Balanced Budget Amendment in the 90’s led to the mess we are in today. As none of the current nonsense (sheer ungodliness) would be happening without financing. Put it back the way we found it, let this form of Representative Government move north and south on the American Continents, as the founders hoped. “Last best chance “

How Hur’s Report Hid Biden’s Obstruction 8 replies

Every engaged citizen knows that Donald Trump was indicted for obstructing the Department of Justice's investigation of his retention of presidential records by not turning over all his presidential documents, classified and unclassified. He was also indicted for possessing classified documents. Special Counsel Robert Hur’s similar investigation of President Biden has just concluded, with Hur declining to indict Biden for his willful possession of classified documents, justifying the contrast with Trump by noting that, unlike Trump, Biden cooperated with the FBI and did not obstruct justice.
America’s Open Border – Intentionality

It’s clear that America’s open border is an unmitigated disaster, allowing over 300,000 known migrants to enter the U.S. each month. Migrants are arriving from all over the world, including from geopolitical adversaries like China and Afghanistan. Few are vetted, meaning their health, criminal, education, vocations, literacy, and motivations are unknown. Anyone can ask for political asylum, as they are coached to do. To federal border agents, they are a massive herd of cattle, and it’s all they can do just to get them across the border, feed and hydrate them, and put them on plane to Denver, New York, or Chicago. There are also an unknown number of euphemistically.

One of the creepiest videos I’ve ever seen showed a mixed-up partnership in which the man claimed to be a woman, and the woman claimed to be a man. That’s not even the creepy part. What was creepy was that the woman (i.e., fake man) had a baby, and the man (i.e., fake woman) tried to “breastfeed” that poor little infant. That was bad. Much worse is that a trust in Britain’s National Health Service is claiming that a man given a dangerous chemical cocktail can, in fact, breastfeed a baby. Matt Walsh gives a good rundown of what led to the video and then has the actual clip itself.

Joe Biden made some remarks on the death of Alexi Navalny on Friday. Biden blamed Russian leader Vladimir Putin for his death, emphasizing, "Putin is responsible." While he made a brief tribute to Navalny, he turned it back to his constant complaint, saying that we had to provide more money to Ukraine because of this. He claimed, as he has in the past, that the "failure to support Ukraine will never be forgotten." Then you could see him squinting and reading off the teleprompter as he attacked former President Donald Trump, but his brain seemed to break in mid-point as he just stopped and looked so old

Paul McCartney has been reunited with the original Höfner bass guitar he bought in the early 1960s that was stolen in the '70s, the former Beatles member confirmed Wednesday. "Following the launch of last year's Lost Bass project, Paul's 1961 Höfner 500/1 bass guitar, which was stolen in 1972, has been returned," read a brief statement on McCartney's website. "The guitar has been authenticated by Höfner and Paul is incredibly grateful to all those involved." McCartney bought the guitar, a left-handed Höfner 500/1 Violin Bass, in Hamburg, Germany, in 1961. If you can’t trust Vladimir Putin to vouch for Biden’s mental state, who can you trust? I mean he’s got our best interests at heart and wants us to have the very best leadership possible. Right? Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday Joe Biden would be better for Russia as president than Donald Trump, ahead of a potential rematch between the two in this year’s U.S. election. “[Biden] is a more experienced, predictable person. He is a politician of the old school. But we will work with any leader of the United States, who is trusted by the American people,” Putin said in an interview on broadcaster Rossiya 1 TV when

Given the wholesale disaster that has been the Biden presidency, one has to wonder how it all happened. We have all seen the Democrat party become radicalized, almost purely Marxist, since the Obama administration. Obama promised to transform the country and he surely did. He effectively drove race relations backward by seventy years. It is common knowledge that Obama despised his VP Biden. Why he was chosen to be his VP in the first place is anybody’s guess. Biden was a known jerk, a racist (his mentor was KKK member/aficionado Robert Byrd), rather dumb, a plagiarist, and a pathological liar.

Are the wheels really beginning to come off the Democrat’s chances of keeping the Presidency in 2024, or is it a ruse? It appears they are behind the eight-ball as to having a winning presidential candidate, but are they really? Do Not Be Fooled. For this discussion, I’m leaving out the possibility of voting irregularities and assuming the race will be fair. (I know, I know…) It became apparent three years ago that Biden would not be able to run in 2024 due to age-related issues. It was even doubtful that he would finish his one term. The not-so-funny joke is that his protective ace card in the hole was Kamala Harris,

News out today that Joe Biden will not take a cognitive test at his upcoming annual physical exam. That will surely reassure everyone. A number of observers suggested last week that Biden’s petulant declaration that “My memory is fine” appears set to take its place beside “I am not a crook,” “There is no Soviet domination of Eastern Europe,” and “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” in the annals of regrettable and possibly fatal presidential statements. But there’s one other Watergate parallel that has been less remarked: the non-denial denial. Gerard Baker observes in the Wall Street Journal this morning: "The surest testimony

Anybody who is firmly in the "Yeah, the Democrats have to dump Biden before the election" camp might want to pay attention to the number of stories in the mainstream media that are devoted to running interference for our clearly demented president. The Democrats' flying monkeys in the mainstream media have been operating in a truth-free environment for so long that they have no problem telling you that it's your eyes that are lying and not them. The leftist radicals who are running Biden's allegedly A-OK brain have their perfect puppet in place and have no plans whatsoever to usher him off of the political stage.

Roxbury’s Melnea A. Cass Recreational Community Center, which was once a meeting place for Little League ball players, volleyball games, and other sports and community events, has now been dedicated to rows of cots for illegal border crossers, CBS, WBZ-TV Boston reported. WBZ interviewed pre-teen Jeremiah Rodriguez who showed up at the community center on Feb. 17 under the mistaken impression that his community baseball team was using the facility for batting practice.

On Friday, far left Judge Arthur Engoron fleeced $355 million from President Trump for taking out loans in New York State and paying them back on time and with interest. The charges were brought against Trump by crazed New York State Attorney General Letitia James. There were no victims in the so-called crime. The banks did their due diligence before they loaned Donald Trump the money and testified they would gladly do it again. Judge Engoron called this a crime and ruled that President Donald Trump owed the state $355 million. But that’s not all. As Volokh Conspiracy reported Engoron also put a Clinton-appointed judge in control

Newly uncovered documents reveal Joe Biden has an interesting connection to Abraham Lincoln and a personal reason to be thankful for his Presidency. Historian David J. Gerleman wrote in theWashington Post Monday that Biden’s great-great-grandfather, Moses J. Robinette, was pardoned by President Lincoln after being charged with murder following a particularly violent incident. He discovered this shocking detail after reviewing 22 pages of a court martial transcript. The charge came after a Robinette got into a brawl with fellow Union Army civilian employee John J. Alexander on March 21, 1864, in the Army of the Potomac’s winter camp in Virginia.

Oscar Wilde wrote that “moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess.” Justice Arthur Engoron took that line to heart with his absurd imposition of $455 million in fines and interest against Donald Trump and his corporation. It succeeded wonderfully with New Yorkers, who celebrated the verdict like a popular public execution. It also worked wonderfully to make it difficult to appeal. Much of the criticism of the decision focused on the unprecedented use of the law and the excessive size of the fine. The New York statute has been on the books for decades and has always been something of an anomaly

President Trump published a timely post on Truth Social earlier today on Presidents’ Day. President Trump has a keen awareness of the mood of the country. And, on this Presidents’ Day it’s hard to recognize America. The deliberate actions by the American left, the DC elites, the legacy media, and the tech conglomerates, are changing the US into a country our Founding Fathers would not recognize. Today, Joe Biden and his Obama handlers have transitioned America into a state that more closely resembles Chavez’s Venezuela than Reagan’s shining city on a hill. Democrats today have over 91 charges of lawfare leveled against him by the radical left.
