Climate activists just vandalized the display of the US Constitution in the Rotunda of the National Archives in Washington DC. They poured red powder on themselves and the display.
The America-hating lunatics then lectured the people in the rotunda about their global warming nonsense.
It was interesting to see the police walk around them with out much concern. What was that about?
These activists should immediately be shipped to rural Alaska to live out their dream without the horrors of fossil fuels.

They are wearing masks.

If ever there is a "Correct Time" to deploy tasers...this certainly qualifies, and should have happened immediately.
In such a setting anyone throwing powders or fluids around should not be contacted "Physically" until subdued and proper determination about the "Nature of the substance" is achieved. If that means tazing them repeatedly over a course of HOURS, until a hazmat team can collect, sample, test, codify, and cleanup the substances?? So be it.
There are washington "Teams" constantly on duty to deal with "Unknown Substances" in the Capitol Complex, ALL of the Mail has to pass through special "Teams" before it is ever allowed into the buildings.. ANY powdery substance in Particular is treated as Ricin, or something potentially worse.

So-called “security guards “ need to be fired immediately. As should every supervisor who ordered them to stand down & let these azz holes rant about climate bullshit.

I still say a minimum of 90 days in the local jail...no exceptions. Let them eat jail food and dodge Big Bubba when he chooses you for a “romantic” encounter. This sort of stupidity won’t stop until these morons suffer real consequences.

The Capitol police force is an arm of the USA-hating Democrat party. They all disgust me. No decent man would want to be in their employ as far as I’m concerned. After all the other things they have done and now this.

Hmm. National Archives. Aren't those the lefty enforcers who let Obie store as many classified docs as he likes in a Chicago warehouse, examine Joey's garage stacked with classified docs by arranging a visit with two weeks' notice, yet give President Trump endless grief and descend on Mar-a-Lago to help the FBI ransack the place in President Trump's absence?
Don't expect their security guards to bust their butts protecting a copy of the US Constitution. They likely have a policy against interrupting "peaceful protests."

And if a citizen tried to stop them, he would have been arrested.
The protesters will continue since they can see that there are no consequences.

After 30 years in front-line law enforcement, I thought about easing into retirement with a security gig at the National Archives, at least until my Northwest Virginia home loan was paid off. Early in the application process, they informed me that I completely failed the section with multiple test questions that asked, "What would you do if..."
It seems my consistent answers to protecting the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, when threatened by radical leftists,"two to the body and one to the head," weren't acceptable to the proto-Marxist regime in control, as it might stifle their "fundamental transformation of America."

While D.C. crime is currently high, I would recommend that if you can make it, go to the National Archive and see the Constitution the Bill of Rights along with other historical documents. The lighting is kept very dim for obvious reasons, but on my last visit, I noticed that some of the words on the Constitution were beginning to fade away to the point one could hardly read them.

Lieutenant (now Captain) Michael LeRoy Byrd killed an unarmed woman without hesitation. I guess being armed with red powder was too scary for these cops to risk making the activists angry.
