Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is releasing a new video on Friday, first obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation, calling on the GOP to unite around former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign following his massive win in Nevada. Trump secured 99% of the share in the Nevada caucus on Thursday, where he essentially ran unopposed, after winning majorities in the New Hampshire primary and Iowa caucus in January. The speaker’s video compiles media reports from each of Trump’s wins and echoes Johnson’s previous calls for Republican unity to defeat President Joe Biden in November.

If Michelle doesn't step up, you know Nikki would jump at the chance to replace Biden, who is close to Biden ideologically, and could provide some cover for deep-sixing Kamala.

If I could register as an independent in my state, I'd have done it years ago. I'm sick and tired of Republicans, cat fighting like a bunch of junior high girls. Deal with internal issues behind closed doors, but not in public. Either show a united front, finally, or get the hell out of politics.

Slightly off-subject. I was very impressed with the turnout in my precinct in the Nevada caucus as were my children who caucused in other precincts. There were over 60,000 voters (82% of the 2016 total) who showed up in person to demonstrate their support for Trump although the results were never in doubt. The lady who signed me in after an extended wait in line said, “Sorry for the wait. We were not expecting this.” Despite the long lines, several people commented that they appreciated the way the voting was handled. I stepped up to the table, presented my ID, voter’s registration card, signed my name, filled out my paper ballot and dropped it into a sealed box. It was simple, safe, and secure.

The thunderous, blind rage with which Democrats and their media stooges are greeting the special counsel report on Joe Biden is a thing to behold. With apologies to Jack Nicholson and “A Few Good Men,” they can’t handle the truth. It’s as if Dems and their handmaidens really believed Biden was fit for duty, that the stumbling, mumbling, confusion and hiding were normal. And now they are wild with fury because they’ve been embarrassed by the revelation of explosive facts they should have known. That’s a possible explanation, but not the likely one. A more reasonable view is that their fury stems from the fact that they, too, were part of a great con job,

Democratic Missouri Rep. Bush, a member of the so-called “squad” of left-wing House Democrats, is trailing her main primary challenger, Prosecuting Attorney of St. Louis County Wesley Bell, by 22 points with about six months until voters in Missouri’s first congressional district go to the polls for the primary election in August, according to a new poll by MOScout and Remington, a Republican polling firm. Bush is currently under federal investigation for alleged misuse of federal security money, and

It was easily one of the notable moments of President Joe Biden's Thursday press conference in which he angrily denounced Special Counsel Robert Hur for highlighting his memory loss several times in his report. Yet Politico neglected to mention how Biden seemingly failed to recall the name of the church he got the rosary from to memorialize his deceased son Beau. Here's that highly embarrassing moment for Biden that shocked viewers yet Politico disingenuously left out of their reports of the press conference. (X Video)

Now, she is showing that handler role again, with a statement on the report issued by Special Counsel Robert Hur in the classified document investigation. The statement was issued in her name, as part of a fundraising email sent out by the Biden campaign.

Israel's neighbors and key mediators warned Saturday of disaster and repercussions if its military launches a ground invasion in Gaza's southern city of Rafah, where Israel says remaining Hamas strongholds are located — along with over half the besieged territory's population. [SNIP] The announcement set off panic. More than half of Gaza's 2.3 million people are packed into Rafah, which borders Egypt. Many fled there after following Israeli evacuation orders that now cover two-thirds of the territory following the Oct. 7 Hamas attack that sparked the war. It's not clear where they could go next. Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said any Israeli ground offensive on Rafah would have "disastrous consequences."
