Washington Democrats are attempting to pass legislation that would allow felons, including serial killers, to vote, serve on a jury and even run for office while incarcerated.
House Bill 2030 is sponsored by Dem. Rep Tarra Simmons, an ex-convict who was sentenced to 30 months in prison in 2011 for theft, drug, and firearm crimes. The former convict was previously successful in restoring voting rights to convicted felons after their release.
During a hearing on the bill, Republican Rep. Sam Low asked Simmons regarding the Green River Killer, “Would Gary Ridgway's rights be restored with this bill?
Simmons replied, “Yes, they would.”

This way the 'Rats could stay on the take from the government, even while in prison. What a sweetheart deal for them...

What a bunch of fools. That state used to be populated by intelligent people. Apparently, there is something in the water that clouded their minds. God help us!!

They're just making it official that the Democrat Party is a criminal party. Of criminals, by criminals, and for criminals. No longer just a joke. Yeah, they're open and proud off it.

Earlier today at another article about the insanity of the marxists running this state I told how three years ago, during the pandemic, the ACLU and other liberal groups petitioned our State Supreme Court to release all prisoners over age 55. They were turned down by a vote of 5 to 4. If that had been successful the Green River Killer, Gary Ridgeway, would have been freed.

Maybe some of those felons go for the judges and prosecutors who got them convicted.

The Washington State Supreme Court ruled in 2017 that Tara Simmons could be granted a license to practice law despite her felony conviction for theft of prescription drugs and drug trafficking, with an extra penalty for illegal possession of firearms. About 2012, Simmons lost her Washington nursing license because she committed these crimes in the course of her employment as a registered nurse.
These are crimes of moral turpitude. Her admission to the bar diminished the honor of my own license to practice law here.
Adding insult to insult, she is a state representative from my home county, Kitsap.
Pay attention. Simmons has demonstrated her principle, that crimes do not deserve punishment.

My second post on this topic. Here is a link to the ABA Journal about Tara Simmons's appeal to our state Supreme Court, after the Bar Fitness and Character Board had ruled that Simmons was not fit to practice law:

The fine print probably excludes Trump. The proposal is sociopathic.
