A former Georgia lawmaker is planning to sue Clayton County for ousting her from her position after she was filmed screaming at medics who allegedly found her passed out drunk outside of a sports bar.
Felicia Franklin announced that she is filing the suit for wrongful termination after county officials voted unanimously to dismiss her from her position as Board of Commissioners vice chair over the September altercation, which was recorded on police-worn body cameras, according to the Daily Mail.

Of course, she is going to sue, she ain't gonna like it missing all her former positions privileges. Just wait when she starts with the 'raciss' charges after the date rape rubbish is not going to work.

She was drunk on personal time, and it didn't interfere with her job -- defense lawyer.

Anyone in a responsible position, and lawmaker is, needs to have impeccable behavior, especially in public. Hers was definitely not. She should be fired. But now she has plenty of time on her hands to sue people. Hopefully, she loses bigly.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Don't you see she is black. That is her "get out of jail" free card for any and all situations. Now if she was white, well then, bye bye. s/o

I love all the YouTube videos of self-important people getting stopped for DUI and then trying to play the 'Do you know who I am ' card as their butts get shoved in the back of a police cruiser. This woman is a combination of pitiful and sickening.

She's a black woman. She'll probably get $1,000,000 of taxpayer money for "wrongful termination". In fact, since she's also a Democrat, this may propel her into some national office. Democrats seem to like obnoxious, corrupt, black alcoholics.

Can one be fired for actions outside of work? Did her employment contract have a clause detailing termination for such behavior? We shall see. My guess - her motivation is that she knows she wouldn't last one minute in the private sector and doesn't want to give up her spot at the public trough.

So people need employment contracts to tell them how to behave? My goodness, no wonder why this country is heading in the direction it is. I guess the farther and farther a person gets away from God and His Word, the more a person needs to depend on another entity. In this case, a person needs an employer to define the terms of personal responsibility? Very, very sad.

Not only is she now out of a job after blowing a lot of money on drink, but she's now throwing good money after bad by hiring a bloodsucking attorney to fight a losing battle for her in court. The dumb get dumber.

Pictures included, yep, you guessed right. This creature was actually a vice chair but given what she is and what she did, she could send her resume just about anywhere that is woke and get a better job. She checks several boxes that are not even on the applications yet.

This woman was stinking drunk. Often, county commissioners and boards have bylaws that affect their duties and responsibilities and behavior at all times. I'm sure the county attorney reviewed the situation and videos and had good cause to terminate Franklin.
