Eight high school students in Las Vegas between the ages of 13 and 17 have been arrested on suspicion of murder in the fatal beating of a 17-year-old classmate, authorities announced Tuesday at a news conference.
Las Vegas police homicide Lt. Jason Johansson said investigators were still working to identify two more students believed to have participated in the Nov. 1 fight that he said was over a pair of wireless headphones and a vape pen.
Johansson said the local FBI office assisted with the arrests Tuesday morning of the eight students. The two outstanding students will also face murder charges, he said.

You don't see these kinds of problems in countries like China, Japan, Singapore, etc. Hmm - what do they all have in common?

Now that they have been arrested, we may never hear whether they are prosecuted. The arrests take the attention off of the problem.

All the attackers were between thirteen to seventeen ... good grief. The ten attackers had themselves a diabolically great time kicking and stomping that poor kid's head in. Those who do adult crimes should be punished as adults, no matter their age. And intent, crystal clear in these brutal attacks, should matter very much to the criminal justice system. By the time every child is six-years-old, he knows right from wrong, unless there was no one there to bring him up right, in which case he's eventually going to commit a shocking crime that forces the state to take his future away from him with a life sentence.
In The First 48 Hours, Tulsa detectives caught a skinny 16-year-old (who looked about 12), who in one day dedicated completely to crime did at least three home invasions which resulted in a murder, a sexual assault, forced trips to the automatic teller at gunpoint (where another victim was opportunistically robbed), and another series of robberies at a mall before Homicide caught up with him. After being questioned by the detectives for a few hours, the young scholar told the detective he was ready to go home now. The detective said, "I'm sorry if we're inconveniencing you, but you've been busy today." The kid wound up with a completely justified life sentence for second degree murder, plus all the other crimes he committed that day. This kid was not going to be reformed. He was already gone, so he had to go.

The "youths," "teens" or whatever you want to call these Amish thugs have taken a sharp moral and animalistic downturn in this country that shocks us at the violence and cruelty of their actions over senseless reasons. I say they should all be hung in a row in front of one of the huge casinos and left to rot there for a couple of months to warn the rest of them that they will be dealt with in a similar manner when the civilized people of this country take it back. Homeless, fatherless, low-income, whatever, there is no excuse for them.

When a murder or murders are involved the perpetrators should be identified and their photos made public. Let’s face it, murders are not juvenile offenses like skipping school.

Feral, savage, barbaric. They should be tried as adults on homicide charges. If convicted a minimum of 20 years in prison would be a good start. Better yet - life in prison. Send a message to the feral beasts prowling through our once great nation that we’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore. On second thought, just put them in front of a firing squad. The taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay to house and feed the savages.

Funny how race is not an issue when a group of blacks kick to death a white, like in this case, but if the reverse had happened it would be all the rage.

It’s time to proceed with reparations.
Don’t house them for 20 to life. Remove them from society and send them back to their continent of origin.
South Africa would be a great destination. Theyhave the government of color and everything that goes with it.

Article correction:
"Eight high school students"
should read:
"Eight BLACK high school students "
....and as other posters have noted, if the races were reversed, it would be THE HEADLINE in ALL the Lamestreams, WITH 'ethnic identification' AND Photos.

Since these murderers belong to the Amish community no doubt, they will let them walk. Put these trash bags in for life. My apologies to the Amish who do not produce such filth in their community.

If you care about your kids, you don't enroll them in schools like this. Far too many of the kids are savages. Only way to fit in is to become a savage just like them. Or risk beatdowns and death just like this kid. Btw, why did the one kid need a vape pen and headphones at school? Not finding much sympathy here. Quickly learned in high school not to bring too many personal items if I didn't want them destroyed or stolen. If I did have anything of personal value, I kept it on my person. I also learned to avoid the thugs as best I could. Sadly, they are everywhere.

It was NOT a fight. Those vermin stole the items from a smaller guy, then the murdered hero tried to stand up for him, may he rest in peace. Let’s be specific about the language, CBS. Not a fight, it was a raging feeding frenzy. And I suspect there will be only minor consequences for those charged. Which means it’ll happen again and again.

These criminals can be tried as adults if they are 16 years or older. Our DA is good, and he will make sure they are tried in adult court for murder just like he did those two murderers who killed the cop on the bicycle.

In years to come we will probably see articles written about how they didnt do it, just like the central park rapists who admitted to doing it. After enough time has passed and evidence evaporates away, they'll probably be cleared.
