A Pennsylvania family the FBI raided last September over the father’s pro-life advocacy filed two claims today for a total of $4.35 million in damages due to the FBI’s unconstitutional, “malicious,” and “corrupt” use of “excessive force.”
Mark Houck and Ryan-Marie Houck say in their legal filings obtained by The Federalist that their seven children continue to suffer as a result of the FBI raiding — with battering rams, ballistic shields, armor, and long rifles — the home of a nonviolent pro-lifer who didn’t own any guns and whose seven children were just waking for breakfast. (snip) The FBI said they put their guns away once Houck was arrested.

Joey Baby's DOJ is running amok. Merrick Garland is running amok. ITMT, actual terrorists are crossing our southern border, that is open wide on purpose by Joey Baby's administration. America is fubared under JRB.

Don't forget the charges against these agents, their superiors and up the line.

I hope Houck seeks the death penalty for these rogue (ha!) agents.

Wouldn't it be nice if any settlement against a Government agency be deducted from next years operating budget ?

If the Feds used fraud to gain permission for the raid, Houck deserves mega punitive awards.

FBI gestapo tactics. Directed at conservatives only. BTW, I am sure that video of the raid was available online. Recently I searched, but could not find it.

Many would be surprised to learn that the FBI was once a respected organization.

I must have missed the fact that the FBLIE has turned into the Nazi SS!

#3: I suspect the agents have something like 'qualified immunity' like most LEOs have. It protects them from individual suits by defendants if the officers were acting on 'legitimate' orders from the grand jury.

Their guns should not have been out and they should not have broken through the door. Any civilian pulling this stunt deserves to die on the spot for terroristic threats and breaking and entering.

#7, there is a short clip on Rumble (Hannity, unfortunately) but does show a few disconnected seconds while Hannity talks: https://rumble.com/v27suo8-doj-raided-mark-houcks-house-and-tried-to-put-him-in-jail-for-this....html

The FBI/KGB controlled by Gestapo Garland.
The DC DoJ thugs are the most criminal sort of government thugs that have ever worked in this country.

The fbi and entire DoJ have become the exact same entity as the KGB, or Stasi, or brown shirts. Every prosecution is politically motivated. The only solution is to totally disband the entire DoJ. Bulldoze the Justice and FBI headquarters and then recruit necessary federal agents like border control and immigration in El Paso. SEC in Fargo, etc. all new hires

I’m sure the agents were “just following orders”. The thing is, after Covid especially, we know how corrupt our government is (at all levels), and they know that many of us know it. So like corrupt repressive regimes throughout history, they must resort to violent suppression to attempt to hold onto their power. If history holds, this will ultimately fail, unfortunately it may take decades to do so. We are in for dark times, regardless of our election outcomes, because the administrative state is entrenched, they are a large part of the problem, and they can wait out politicians who come and go. I am trying to recalibrate my life, asking myself how people who lived under repressive regimes their entire lives (and recognized the fact) actually lived their daily lives. What do they tell their kids and grandkids? I look at my four grandkids and want to cry for what has been taken from them.

One wonders if the FBI will treat a judge as it does Congress and simple refuse to provided the subpoena documents during discovery. Be nice to see how that unfolds. I bet if a judge holds the FBI in contempt, the judge gets the same early morning visit the plaintiff received.

Only 4.3 million? They should file for 43 million, or 150 million. They probably also should move if they haven't already because that home will have nightmare memories for them for the rest of their lives.

Hope they get the money, but don't forget it's the rest of us taxpayers who will have to pay it, not the creeps running the DOJ.

Get the names of every single agent who was there, the names of those who sent them to his house and sue them for absolutely everything they own. Homes, cars, pensions, stocks, bonds. If nothing else it might tie them up for years fighting the lawsuits against them. Maybe make some future jack-booted thug think twice before 'following orders.'

It was massive overkill by the FBI to send a message to the pro-life crowd.
I hope this family wins big time and Garland and Wray are exposed as Biden's brownshirts.
This is the way you fight Democrats - take a page from their playbook and sue them until they scream.
