Never seen any of his movies or TV shows, but some clips of him seemed pretty good.' Saw a tweet of him wearing his, "Could I be any more vaccinated," t-shirts not too long ago. Sad if it contributed to his early departure.

Sorry to hear this. He sounds like he was a good guy who had to share his life burdens with the public. It's hard enough for an unknown to carry the load but more so for the celebrity

How sad. The Greatest Commandment "Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul plus Love your neighbor as yourself" resonates with me concerning the Bible. God gives us this commandment and it doesn't get any simpler than that. We are in a culture where there is so much "community" and "look out for others" that one of the messages is missed. How on earth can a person do anything if they aren't taking care of themselves - love yourself. When I read biographies like Matthew Perry's life, I am truly saddened. It just seems that when someone drinks or does drugs like this, they are forgetting to love themselves. We are to be good stewards of ourselves. Not in an arrogant way but in a loving way. Living in a "Great Commandment" way ONLY comes when we get closer with God. . .

By the way, just so it isn't misinterpreted, I am not saying bad things about "community" or "looking out for others" because it is important. It just has to be done in the light of taking care of ourselves too.

I didn't care for Friends the one time I saw it. However, one of my favorite movies is one he did called "Fools Rush In," with Salma Hayek. He was very talented and will be missed by fans, friends and family.

US: End game in Gaza ‘ultimately’
up to Israel

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said Sunday that the end game in Gaza is “ultimately” up to Israel as it escalates its operations into the territory without a clear military objective on what it seeks to accomplish aside from the eradication of Hamas. CBS’s Margaret Brennan pressed Sullivan on what milestones Israel needs to pass to consider ending their efforts against militant group Hamas, which launched a deadly attack against Israel more than three weeks ago. Sullivan said on “Face the Nation” that ending the attacks would be up to Israel as the U.S. continues to advise them in its ongoing war. “Well, they have declared

Matt Taibbi is one of a group of honest liberals who are not blind to the contemporary Left’s faults. At Racket News, he writes about his testimony before Jim Jordan’s House Weaponization of Government Committee, which apparently prompted a visit to his home by the IRS. Jordan’s House committee investigated, with the result that the IRS has announced a new policy on home visits. The substance of the investigation is related in more detail in a separate Racket News post, but for now I want to focus on Matt’s conclusion in the post linked above, which is titled “Thanks, to a Politician Who Did His Job”:

Hamas heavyweight Muhammad Qassem Sawalha, 62, was discovered living in London in a home bankrolled by UK citizens. Here’s the kicker: he lives in a Jewish neighborhood. Apparently, living amongst Jews isn’t so bad if a huge chunk of your home is paid for with someone else’s cheddar. Sawalha and his wife scored a tasty $136,500 taxpayer-funded kiss when they bought a two-story home in London for $390,000. The house is paid off. Sawalha, who is wanted in Israel for being a member of Hamas, skedaddled to London using a cousin’s passport in the 1990s and snagged his own British passport in the early 2000s.

Elon Musk has said that Starlink will provide connectivity to “internationally recognized aid organizations” in the territory of Gaza, where communications have been cut amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Israel is intensifying its military campaign against Gaza, which began in response to an attack by Hamas militants into Israeli territory earlier this month, claiming the lives of over 1,300 civilians and leading to the capture of hundreds more. Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on Palestinians living in Gaza city, the largest population center in the strip, to evacuate south as his country conducts an offensive in the north.

Ron DeSantis was one of the many Republican presidential candidates who addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition Summit Saturday in Las Vegas. DeSantis began his speech with the topic at the front of everyone's minds, especially the people in that room - Hamas' barbarous attacks on Israeli civilians. On Oct 7th we witnessed a level of barbarity that had not been seen in recent decades... What these Hamas terrorists did by butchering babies, by mutilating people, by taking elderly hostage, this reached a new depth for the depravity of mankind. If these barbarians had their way, they would try to do a second Holocaust right in our own time.

Regarding the concern that Israel lacks a clear objective in Gaza, Netanyahu made it clear that the goal is completely defeat Hamas. A common stalking point, including one recently repeated by former Barack Obama NSA Ben Rhode, has been that Israel lacks a clear objective. There isn't much evidence of that, though. Clearly

A comprehensive report in the Detroit Free Press details how the latest data reveals that while the Biden administration is pushing hard for automakers to turn out EVs, car companies are unable to sell the models. Data from Edmunds.com shows that in September 2022, for example, EVs sat on dealership lots for just 21 days before they were sold. Today, EVs are sitting on dealership lots for 65 days. Automakers, as Breitbart News reported, are well aware of the issue.

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have experienced the heaviest night of Israeli bombardment since the war with Hamas began three weeks ago. Hamas-run authorities said hundreds of buildings were destroyed in air and artillery strikes, and that at least 377 people were killed in the past day. Israel's military said its warplanes hit 150 underground targets, including tunnels and other infrastructure. Tanks and troops also went into the Strip and clashed with Hamas fighters. The military said some soldiers would remain in the field, as Israel's defence minister declared that the war had entered a "new phase". Israel began its bombing campaign in Gaza in response to an unprecedented cross-border attack by hundreds of Hamas

We haven’t seen a specific bill yet, but Johnson’s first move was to pass an endorsement of Israel and a denouncement of Hamas terrorism, which was a good sign. He will also need

Thousands gathered in Istanbul on Saturday for what was touted as the “Great Palestine Meeting.” The event was a pro-Palestine rally aimed at condemning Israel’s recent military actions in Gaza, where Hamas headquarters are located. Hamas terrorists were responsible for a deadly attack that claimed the lives of 1,400 Jews in southern Israel. One must ask the question: What did people expect Israel to do in response? Not retaliate? When an entity like Hamas, designated as a terrorist organization by the United States, the European Union, and Israel, engages in violent acts aimed at killing civilians, it is not only Israel’s right but also its obligation to defend its citizens.

The project began in 2021 and is ongoing, but the initial analysis determined samples to contain clayey and marine materials and seafood. According to the researchers, these results mean human activity was present on the boat-shaped mound between 5500 and 3000 BC.
