"At first we were ecstatic": Gaza's FAFO
moment and Iran's strategic miscalculation

I bet they were. In fact, we hardly need the Gazan testimony today to know that they fully supported Hamas’ launch of war against Israeli civilians in mass attacks around Gaza’s borderlands. In video after video promulgated by the Gazans and Hamas terrorists themselves, we saw them dancing in the streets as they dragged bodies and hostages into Gaza from Israel, and mocking and terrorizing children hostages as part of their celebration. As Haaretz reports today, though, it has begun to dawn on Gazans that they seriously miscalculated how Israel and its allies would respond to this war. “At first we were ecstatic,”

Comments:

I stand with Israel, however they wish to respond to the atrocities that happened over the weekend.

A few years after the 9/11 attacks, I was a regular in an online chatroom. One day, the conservatives in the room came to a consensus about Muslims: they simply cannot grasp the concept of cause and effect. This article proves that.

Tuesday on the Five, Dana Perino said that Gazan's are just as much victims of Hamas as the Israeli's. I couldn't believe my ears. She must not have seen the same video's I saw on Saturday, Sunday and Monday where a poor girl her pants bloodied from being gang raped being shoved into a car and the men all around the car were cheering, those men were not Hamas, they were the regular citizens of Gaza. And why is anyone surprised at the barbaric behavior of muslims, this is what they have been doing for one thousand five hundred years.

Modern Israel should do to Gaza what the ancient Israelis did to Jericho. Read Joshua 6:21 and 6:24. The Israelis never had any more trouble from Jericho after that treatment. Going back their Biblical (Torahan?) roots would be good.

The Palestinians supported Hamas. Hamas surprised the Israelis with their attack on civilians - killing thousands. The Palestinians danced in the streets with joy. Then the wrath of Israel smote them back to reality. Gaza is a rubble hell hole. The worse is yet to come. It was Israel's "Never Forget" moment. Go ahead Palestinians dance on the rubble that was once Gaza. BTW, Egypt doesn't want you. You have no where to go. Hells fire is coming Palestinians.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville said Tuesday he had flagged former CIA Director Michael Hayden’s social media suggestion about removing Tuberville from the human race to Capitol police, accusing the former chief spook of calling for a “politically motivated assassination.” “I expect that [Capitol Police] will once again do an excellent job protecting members of Congress and bringing criminals to justice,” Tuberville (R-Ala.) said in a blistering statement. Hayden was responding Monday night to a post on X, formerly Twitter, venting frustration with Tuberville’s ongoing Senate hold on bulk votes for military promotions, which has held up the confirmation of at least 300 nominees put forward by President Biden for various posts.

The Biden administration’s former special envoy to Iran, who was placed on leave earlier this year for allegedly mishandling classified material, should face “extensive scrutiny” for his “permissive” stance toward the Tehran regime after it aided Hamas and Hezbollah in carrying out terrorist attacks against Israel, critics said Monday. “Rob Malley deserves extensive scrutiny — yesterday, today and tomorrow,” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) told The Post after the Wall Street Journal reported that officers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps planned and signed off on this weekend’s atrocity that killed at least 900. “These reports could not be more concerning,

It was wholly predictable that protestors would take to the streets to sing the praises of Hamas under the guise of supporting Palestine. We expected the young, ignorant, and indoctrinated, both on and off campuses, to begin a combination victory dance/rally. Of course, as the Squad’s narrative broke down and Biden’s handlers made fools of themselves trying to address the matter, the media showed up, saluted, and reported for duty. National Review reported on the interoffice emails at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that instructed its journalists not to refer to the Hamas members who attacked innocent civilians as “terrorists.” The organization StopAntisemtism had copies of the emails

As expected, there have been a lot of truly terrible takes shared about the recent Palestinian invasion of Israel. Despite shocking videos showing women and children being tortured and murdered in the streets, members of the Democrat "squad," including Rep. Ilhan Omar, still managed to draw a moral equivalency and demand a ceasefire that it just so happens would save Hamas. What a coincidence, right? But while those statements weren't ambiguous, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's post on the matter left people completely confused as well as angry. Really, can someone tell me what the heck this is?

One week before Hamas launched a surprise attack in Israel, a top aide to President Joe Biden touted a relative calm in the Middle East. “The Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades,” said U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, according to The Atlantic. He went on to stress that “challenges remain,” citing Iran’s nuclear weapons program and “tensions” between Israel and the Palestinians, but added, “the amount of time I have to spend on crisis and conflict in the Middle East today compared to any of my predecessors going back to 9/11 is significantly reduced.”

Washington Post blogger Jennifer Rubin took some serious backlash on Saturday after she suggested in an X post that the GOP was somehow responsible for creating the conditions that led to Hamas’ unprovoked attack on Israel. Rubin appeared to be lashing out at Republicans, many of whom had suggested that President Joe Biden’s failures in foreign policy — particularly the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 and the recent deal freeing up $6 billion in Iranian oil money — had ultimately led to the attack on Israel, a close ally. “How about this: With US House in chaos and US military promotions on hold, Hamas struck. Republicans’ weakness invites terror,” Rubin posted.

JERUSALEM — Israel’s military on Friday directed the evacuation of northern Gaza, a region that is home to 1.1 million people — about half of the territory’s population — within 24 hours, a U.N. spokesman said. This could signal an impending ground offensive, though the Israeli military has not yet confirmed such an appeal. On Thursday it said that while it was preparing, a decision has not yet been made. The order, delivered to the U.N., comes as Israel presses an offensive against Hamas militants. U.N. spokesman Stéphane Dujarric called the order “impossible” without “devastating humanitarian consequences.”

The funds would be used to help more than 1.2 million people, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says, stressing that aid groups do not have “the resources required to adequately respond to the full range of needs of vulnerable Palestinians.” You could address some pretty urgent needs
